Angel Island Act 2
|
During my fine summer holiday, I was camping with my cousin, her fiance and all their friends in the woods. Down the road there is a lake that we go to, to swim, fish etc. I was walking down there to get my t-shirt which I had forgotten, and on the way I found a card lying on the floor. I picked it up and it turned out to be a debit card, but intrestingly it had no name. Only the number, the date it expires, the signature on the back and the last three numbers from the security code. The signature was unreadably faint so it was impossible to determine who it belonged to. Now, I came up with two choices: 1. I can contact the bank and report this card to them as lost, OR I can just keep it and eventually see how much cash there is on it. Though the latter sounds very wrong, it's just so tempting. It is money, after all... So what should I do? |

I'd probably go with the first option. It's what's morally right and all. It was careless of them to lose it in the first place (unless they intentionally discarded it) but it's good when you do something to restore some faith in humanity, I guess. That and the guilt would probably nag at the back of my mind. |

although I love money, I would rather return the card, besides, I wouldn't want to be in prison for false accusations of theft. also there might not be any money on the card anyway |

If you just found cash, I would keep it. But using someone else's DC is quite troublesome. Turn it in, you'll feel like a good person. |

If they lost the card, Chances are they would have canceled the account anyway. |

I would return it, myself. It just seems like the right thing to do. |
