What show scares me when I was young was O Canada when it was on Cartoon Network back in 1999. It has disturbing images and scary stuff in there.Posted Image

Pianta, your avatar looks like it's snickering at what you posted.
Also, I loved the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Weird. It never seemed scary to me, except the brain episode.

I'm being completely honest though. :P

I cried whenever I saw Thomas and his friends with those weird looking angry faces...

Barney. Freaking purple dinos have no reason to be a kid's show host.
I have an interest in spriting. If anyone has a request, don't hesitate to ask.

I remember "Are you Afraid of the Dark??" but I never watched it. I knew better!

See, when it came on we were living in this house that didn't have a real living room, so we put the couches and TV in the basement. Yes, the basement. There's a lot I could say about that basement, but suffice to say it was dark, grimy, and if you just sat down and listened you heard all kinds of really freaky noises. (Mostly because there was this old chimney, which would be positioned right behind you if you were sitting on the couch... but I didn't know that back then.) There was also this door in the back (also behind you if you were sitting on the couch) that was jammed shut for a long time, and when we finally got it open we found this cobwebby back room lined with shelves of these weird jars, and a tiny, perfectly mummified mouse lying in the middle of the floor--where it had probably been for the past 5-10 years. And after that the door wouldn't stay shut all the way, so when the heater turned on sometimes it would just randomly swing open. So being down there was always freaky. There was just no way I could have watched something like "Are you Afraid of the Dark??" down there... ever. XD

Courage freaked me out too. Enough that my parents forbid me from watching it for a while. There were various episodes of otherwise un-scary shows that also creeped me out. Like the Hey Arnold episode about the haunted train. And the first episode of Powerpuff Girls I saw was so creepy that I didn't watch it again for years. :P

I love programming! I work at Mommatown as a programmer on sites like Vincent Martella's, Don Leslie's and IPO Boutique. When I'm not doing that I'm usually writing game mods. <3

As much as watching Ginga Nagareboshi Gin makes me snicker nowadays, as a kid I was afraid of the serie's killer bears (and still kept watching it, good past me).

The anime Soul Eater used to scare me. I didn't like Lord Death. Weird thing is, Soul Eater is like, my favorite show now. XD
