Sure, Shadow does, but he continued to go super in future games. Personally, I am tired of Sonic being the only one ever to go super. I think we have all been waiting for something different. Tell me what characters you would like to see go Super, and what do you think of Sonic going super all the time.

I would love to see that too. Anyways, I can understand why people get tired of Super Sonic, but he is the main character of mainly all of his games. Sure, it was a nice break of him beating the final boss without Super Sonic, but you cannot say that he has been stuck in many situations when he needed to. I love Super Sonic in my opinion, just because on how epic he can become. I know that sounds like a lame excuse, but I cannot express it any differently. Usually, I will never get tired of Sonic going into super form. However with other characters, I do not see the point because once X amount of characters go super, it is not that special anymore. I see it as pretty much every Sonic character now, (expect Amy) can fly in some way, shape, or form. Heck, I count Robotnik/Eggman because of his mechs. I could count Sonic's airplane, but when was the last time he used that (I know where and when), and how often does he use it? I don't know, excuse my minor rant though. At least I believe Shadow and Blaze do deserve there super/burning forms, which is all I am saying.

We already had Super/Hyper Knuckles and Super Tails in S3&K so it's old hat to me. As for female characters perhaps Rouge or Amy, even. Though honestly, I'm not tired of Super Sonic. I'm just tired of Sonic Team's abuse of �SUPER EPIC!!!11!� plots that involve him needing to become Super Sonic. It's getting kind of boring now. I miss the good old days when using Super Sonic was an option not a necessity. $:\$

Because any time you play a Sonic game, you know for a fact that he is going to go super and the boss will be simple.

I don't think they should give too many characters Super forms, because then going super isn't as special. Really, I'd just like to see them stick with Super Sonic and Super Shadow. But I'd prefer it if becoming Super Sonic was an option, that has no effect on the outcome of the game. Edited by SilverPanda, Aug 10 2012, 04:56 AM.

That's one of the reasons why I liked Colors - Sonic didn't have to go Super to beat the last boss of that game.

You know, it would be extremely cool if Knuckles had some sort of BERSERK form. Where every attack he does or takes gives him a lot of adrenaline and there's this bar to show it and once he has the option to use that form, you would have to press a button to perform it. Knuckles is kinda hot-headed so it would be pretty freakin' sweet.

Good vibes. Also, I don't think the issue is that the Super Sonic final bosses are inherently bad, it's just they're very rarely a challenge at all. But it would be nice to just have him as an unlockable, like in Colors/Colours or Sonic 4.
