Anyway this is starting to turn into an Unleashed thread...\|D; I never really liked him, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was a character that no one would like. xD Proportionately, I'd pick Omochao over him as an adviser, but I'd pick Tails over either of them so it doesn't really make a huge difference. But, yeah. xD; Transforming into an Unleashed thread, it appears~

Those games are what I grew up with, and those are what I love most. As for the newer games, such as Gens, it wasn't bad. But I wanted the perspective to be like Adventure style.

The classics were great as well,Knuckles Chaotix was my favorite of that era,but i sucked hard at the classics. Modern however,and i say this all the time,Unleashed gets my vote.Hell,Werehog was the best thing about the whole game in my opinion,and it was the last LONG sonic game out of the modern era,the games like colours and Generations were too short. Well, if 'old' and 'new' are the classifications being used, for the most part what I do is split it so that all the 3D games, SA onward basically, are 'new'. But, maybe you split it differently. If I were to use more terms, I'd probably sort the games as: Classics (1, 2, 3&K), Adventure Era (Adventure, Adventure 2), Moderns (Heroes, Shadow, Sonic '06), and Unleashed Era (Unleashed, Colours, Generations).

If Sonic Heroes is now "old", then I like the old games best, because that was my favourite game. If it's still "new" then I like both old and new about equally.

It all depends on what games. I love both and it would be hard to choose. Even if it a "bad" Sonic game, I would still buy/play it and 9 times out of 10, I would have a blast with it, if not love it. But to answer the question, I have to say the new ones, since I grew up with the Adventure titles, and when I first played as Sonic. (Don't get me wrong, the classics are perfect beyond belief.)

The newer ones are more adventurous and bigger. And bigger is better. It's a good thing when there's more to do in a game however today I don't have that kind of time anymore. So yeah, the old...mostly up to Sonic Adventure.
