Your Favorite...Color?; Of course there's been a topic like this before. But, we have newer members and stuff...

A topic based off colors!!! I know this topic has been made probably over a hundred times, maybe less, maybe more, BUT we do have newer members. We all do have an opinion of our favorite color, but I do want to make a certain RULE for this topic. Instead of saying "My favorite color is this," how 'bout we say our favorite color and give a reason why. It could be based off the appearance of the color, what the color reminds you of, WHAT EMOTION does the color represent, and other reasons you can give. Just give at least one reason. Okay, I'm going to say my favorite color. My post on my favorite color can give you a reasonable example because all the reasons I said that were optional to post are going to be on my post. ================== My favorite color is Crimson Red. The reason why this is my favorite color is because it has a DARK emotion for me. It describes myself a lot, not that much of an outgoing person. I stick by myself, I only have friends who come to me [unless if they have some sort of mutual interest that I have]. I love the appearance of the color because of its darkness and how it looks great on my FC eye colors.

And mine is Purple for the simple reason that it was the colour that I painted my first Warhammer 40k army in and I have used it for every army, computer game and D&D character ever since. I'm pretty sure it was the first color I learned, and if not, then I have no idea why I was so fascinated with this color all throughout my childhood. XP There are other colors that I really love/like, but yellow is my favorite. I use it very seldom, but that's mostly because I once got to the point where it was the only color I used, so I'm trying to even out those yellowish years by going with different colors and shades nowadays. ^^;;

Well, whenever my brother and I had to each choose one of something that came in varying colors, it always came down to him picking the blue one and me picking the red or green one. So I guess I like red because in a lot of cases, it's the rival color to blue. And as for green, it's often associated with life, hope, nature, and in the case of the Legend of Zelda... Courage. Besides, the green-clad Link is one of my childhood heroes. Oh, and if you want my favorite shade of green, think of Link's tunic! So red and/or green, I suppose, but really, it all depends on the context... For example, there's nothing quite like a clear blue sky. Edited by Brick Mage, Aug 2 2012, 01:07 PM.

Posts: 3,112 Group: E Rank Legend Member #59 Joined: April 29, 2006	My favorite color is red, with secondary colors being various shades, tints, and hues of red -- pink and purple as noted examples (and orange not so much). I just think red is a nice, bright, warm color. It certainly stands out fairly well. It's the color of love and passion. It reminds me of red roses, and fire. In more recent years I think of the sweetness from juice and berries that are red. And I mean, most of the other colors I find alluring can be found around it on a color wheel!
