 Sorry for the all-caps on the thread name, but I've noticed something that's starting to make me a little bit happier. I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this in and I'm not sure if anyone else is noticing, but I've been noticing that there are more Sonic-related threads being posted or just THREADS OVERALL being posted more often since we've been getting new members for the past week or two.

Before that, we had members that would join and disappear. This happened for a while. There was some members that decided to stay throughout those months, but I'm just saying that I'm satisfied to see some more activity.

Hah, I'm not a mod or admin or anything, but this little burst of activity feels like a sign of bringing this forum...not back to what it used to be, but at least bringing this forum back to life for a bit. I'm just glad to see threads that have nothing to do with the Shack.

I don't really know why I'm saying this, but for the members that recently joined and are actually being active and posting threads, getting to know the forum, and is following directions, I thank you. It's not my forum, but seeing the activity actually makes me smile and feel good about the place I'm in. :]


Now, that's not really what the thread is about, the thread is about this. HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN NOTICING THE SMALL BURST OF ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF THE SHACK?

 Yes. Because it's summer. Summer always brings a new influx of members no mater where you go on the internet; people are on holidays, are bored and decide to wander the internet, looking for something worthy to whet their thirst for stimulation.

 Eh, I know. I kind of thought that the summer would be different. I thought people would be outside more and doing something else besides go on forums. Not to mention vacations. I thought people would be on more DURING SCHOOL than summer.

 It's the 6 week holidays in the UK. Back in my day we used to go out and play football(soccer to those who ruined our language), ride bikes, makes a base in the local woods, and generally dreamed up new ways of having fun when we got older. As I've gotten older I've found myself living my dreams from those days.

Long live the computer age? What do kids these days even think about doing when they're older? Or is it simply a case of wasting away here on the internet with nothing better to do because nobody gets kicks out of the house for the summer?
