Character Select
I recently saw a topic about the sonic and megaman crossover comic book but i also saw a video talking about how they should make it a game. I think it would be good idead (if sega handles the DLC instead of Capcom.) What do you guys think?

The Jaw-ggernaught of Justice.
It would be an interesting concept. If they can fuse the play style of Megaman and Sonic, (And as long as it's NOT a Mario and Sonic ripoff, might i add) Then i would bow down and call it the greatest game ever made.

Yep.
I can imagine it! The greatest heroes, the one known for his speed and the other one known for the challenging gameplay! The only game in which Sonic and Megaman can fight, compete, cooperate, is this:

It is..

Olympic Games!

Oh wait, that was done.

Still.

Olympic Games. Anybody?

To be more serious, i doubt it would happen, a comic is good enough, but a game? It's just too much, i don't think it could be pulled off, like the idea of Mario & Sonic together, they couldn't do a full blown adventure.

That's only a dream we can wish could happen.

But if Mario and Sonic had a game together, it would always be on the Wii. Besides, Nintendo were bitter rivals with SEGA.

While Capcom and SEGA never really had any interaction at all, besides it could be on a variety of platforms.

And besides, SEGA actually wanted to make more 2D sonic games, which would fit flawlessly with Megaman's gameplay. So by making another 2D Sonic game adding Megaman to boot, the fans would be less rabid than they already are.

And fans are SEGA's biggest priority.

My! That's a pretty snazzy performance there!
It is a nice thought, but I do not mean to sound like a jerk, but hasn't there been a crossover with every major character with Sonic been thought of and/or created via fan-fiction?

Anyways, I do see it, and if done right, it could be pretty awesome. Actually it sounds closer than a lot other ones.

The biggest problem with this is that megaman (especialy Classic Megaman), is pretty much dead to Capcom. I'd rather not see this game if it means Mega's taking Sonic down with him.

Now, if such a game were developed by someone in the fan community of either game series, and assuming it was of good quality, a game like that sounds like it'd be sick.

Hate to agree, but its true. Its like Capcom has utterly forsaken one of their bigger franchises since the creator left.

Hell, I'm still sore over Legends 3 being cancelled.
