Slychu turns around seeing a shadow. It appeared to come from just around the corner of the building. It's figure seamed quite odd. Curiosity and caution gripped him as the shadow grew closer.

He backed against the wall and slowly began to walk towards the corner. He rears his head to see just barley see around the corner. He saw this 'Creature'...whatever it was. Slychu looked closely at it; seeing that it had no eyes or ears made him lower his guard a bit, but it still seamed pretty vicious.

He turned back begun to slowly walk away as the creature grew closer to where he was. He tried not to do anything for it to notice him. Panic struck him as he remembered it had no eyes or ears, but it could still have a keen nose. His heart pounded waiting for what it was going to do.

--

Chiyu knew something was coming, but what could it be? He reached for his arrow just in case, but it has also disappeared along with his belt of healing herbs. He grew stressed with all his things gone. He felt the danger growing stronger; he knew he can't fight very well so he decided to hide.

He starred at the building. This could work He walked over to the other side where he had found a door. He opened it slowly as it creaked. Stepping foot inside gave him a weary feeling. When he shut the door it seamed to echo trough the place. He sat down against the wall...just waiting.

after the explosion stops, Josh starts to go out the room, but then notices some more of those things coming through the rooms, so he hides in the corner in an attempt to keep them away, and thinks There has to be something here to help me out... but there was nothing in the room except from the furniture, and starts to get scared about what might happen, so he leans against the window on the other side of the room to keep as far away as possible from them...

Terrador neared the hellhound. He rarely used offensive tactics and he was hoping his formidable strength would be enough to handle the size of his foe. He soon found he made a grave mistake as he watched it position itself on its hind legs. The Geomancer dug his ankles into the ground in an attempt to stop completely in his tracks. He felt the rush of the wind from the monster's attack. His body stumbled forward only a few mere feet from his demise. Retaining a calm temperament, he positioned his body upright and took a couple slow steps backwards, glaring deeply at the dog as he did so. His mind began to ponder how to go about this situation. A nearby cinderblock lying on the ground was seen through his peripheral vision. Terrador kept his eyes locked on the beast as his Geokinetic energies began focusing. Stopping in place, the green ovular marking on his forehead began to glow. The stone began to slowly levitate from the ground. As soon as the hybrid had complete control over it, he would send it at his enemy with moderate speed.

As the creature grew closer to Flash, he realized continuing to shoot at it was all for naught. At this rate, this creature would drain him, and he needed to reserve his strengths until he could be reunited with his belongings. The beast struck head-on, extending its razor sharp claws as it lunged for him. It was a bold move to do so, considering Flash had attempted another shot.

The beast grew closer, it's razor teeth and horrible body composed of spikes and hooks closing the gap with each flicker of electricity. Flash knew he couldn't stand there any longer. He sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the creature, but not without getting nicked by a claw to his side. Flash wasn't quite aware that it had hit him. He felt no pain, but could feel a warm liquid slightly trickling onto his fur. His heart was racing too much to feel the pain now, he knew to he had to find a way to survive... and fast.

He quickly ran off down the office building, knowing the monster was on his tail. Flash could feel his heart pounding faster and faster, until it had felt it had dislodged itself from his chest and into his throat. There just had to be a way to shake this thing. That's when it hit him... the windows.

There were quite a few windows, perhaps Flash could trick the thing into leaping at him. He made a b-line for the window closest to him. Flash turned his back to the window, allowing him close watch as the shadowy figure. He glanced outside at the height of the drop, making sure he was as close to the edge as possible. Flash looked back up at the monster, gasping for breath.

Blaire Fields

Blaire stared at the Fleshrenders with calculating eyes. Her tail stood stiff and alert and the fur all over her body bristled, making her look like a living brush of some sort. “Okay, the plan is for me to distract those…things away from me. Now, maybe if I were to throw something off to the side, they might go for that, and I can escape. But what can I throw…?

It was then that, out of the corner of her eye, the dog caught sight of a long pipe. Being as silent as a mouse, the dog scooted over to the side, stopping when her boot nudged the long piece of rolled up metal. Not daring to take her eyes off the strange creatures, Blaire reached over and grabbed the pipe.

“Okay, here goes nothing,” she whispered, tossing the pipe to the side as far as she could manage. The object bounced off a wall with a metallic clang, than hit the ground rolling…right back at Blaire’s feet.

The Mobian looked down at the pipe, completely speechless. “Oh no…
……………………………………………………………………………………………………
Aurora Lunetane

“Blaire! Chester! Draaake!”

Through the Midnight City Aurora walked, cupping her paws over her mouth and yelling her lungs out for her friends. The wolf didn’t think there was anyone else around close enough to hear her – if there were, however, she was more than prepared to run – as she traversed through the dark and dreary streets.

No answer from any source came back at her, be it her teammates or someone else living or wandering through the city. The Timber Wolf let out a solemn sigh, paws slipping from her face and ears drooping to the sides. “Where on Mobius could they be? Are they even here in the first place? Am I the only one here? That would certainly be depressing if it was the truth.”

She gradually perked up. “Well, if I am, I’m sure the others are trying their hardest to find out where I’ve been taken to.” She suddenly stopped and looked around, one paw scratching behind her ear.

“Come to think of it, exactly where have I been taken?”
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Chester Chipston

A young Alpine Chipmunk lay sprawled out on the cold asphalt street. His mint green fur waved about in the, rather unpleasant, breeze and his nose began to twitch as the smell entered his nostrils.

“Ugh…what in the…?”

Chester Chipston cracked open his coffee brown eyes, seeing everything in a blur at first. And when his vision cleared, the green-furred Mobian found himself with a rather anxious expression on his visage.

“What’s going on here? And I still in Robotropolis?” He wondered as he stood up. “It…kinda reminds me of it, but there’s something…different. The buildings are all different, there are no robots…”

The chipmunk gulped, beads of sweat beginning to run down his face. “Where exactly…am I?”

Hydrocity Act 2
Taylor Hiss

The knife caught the Fleshrender in the the smooth surface where a natural creature would
have eyes. Pain coarsed through its demonic form as it let out a bloodcurdling scream. Resonating throughout the district and grated at the psyche like fingernails down a blackboard.
Projectiles. The younger Fleshrenders were unprepared for such things. Generally newly arrived victims were stripped of the weapons of their former lives. This allowed a streamlined method of natural selection for the unseen master who loomed above. The weak were eaten and the capable Fleshrenders grew stronger as their brothers eventually starved to death. The Midnight City was an ecosystem that lived on cruelty...

It's unnatural senses in a state of shock, the Fleshrender broke into a full charge at its assailant and leapt in for the kill. With its body in absolute blood-crazed frenzy, the Fleshrender was incapable of noticing its naturally ice-cold blood beginning to boil under a torrent of internal fire.

The Fleshrender brought its claws upright as it prepared to sink its fangs into the warm richness of its kill. The feeling of bestial ecstasy was cut short abruptly as the flesh around its head melted and distended, falling away in wet lumps like hot wax under the attention of a blowtorch. The once proud leap swiftly became a dead and graceless collapse that slammed against the ground with a cold finality.
The dangerous and questionably wasteful exertion had paid off for Taylor. For now at least...

Slychu
The beast padded toward Slychu with an obvious fixation as its panting, otherworldly breath rattled in its exposed ribcage. It was spotted, and well aware of it. The Fleshrender let out a billowing growl as it broke into a feral sprint, its mouth welling up with venomous saliva at the thought of the oncoming feed.

Terrador
The meat had stopped moving?
The hybrid had left such such a small gap between the Fleshrender and itself. The natural darkness of the Midnight City was slightly dispelled by a green hue that centred on the Mobian's head. The Fleshrender was confused as this apparent display of suicide but it did not care enough to deny the rare treat.
The creature bounded in a mad leap. It became an enraged and senseless blur of wild sweeps with its claws and furious bites with its strong jaws. Something had to land! A cut, a slash, a gouge! Something to release the sweet coppery smell of Mobian blood onto the air. The Fleshrender needed this pleasure. It needed to feed.

Flash
The smell of blood was on the air. Its intoxicating aroma mixed with the 'taste' of fear perceptible of the unnatural senses of the Fleshrender, and drove it into a state of frenzy. The creatures bestial cunning became drowned in the insanity inducing hunger that stood at the edge of every Fleshrender's mind and the beast pounced at Flash with a reckless abandon, hacking and slashing at its prey with razor-sharp claws and snapping its distended jaw with an intent to gore, maul and devour the mobian prey. Its body was in motion, its parabola aimed directly at Flash, and inadvertently, the empty window frame. It's natural cunning should have recognised this, but it was bloodlust that carried the Fleshrenders actions now and it would cut, it would tear, it would rend the very flesh from its victims bones and feast...

Blaire
The disturbing sound of cracking cartilage greeted the noise of the metallic clangour as many bestial heads snapped towards the disturbance. Two of the creatures brought their skeletal bodies down to the concrete floor and the barbs across their black skin flared up in arousal. Things often fell apart in the husks of buildings that were strewn across the Moribund District so the noise of metal on stone or concrete was not uncommon to the Fleshrenders, but the force of which the pipe was thrown created a noise significantly louder than was warranted. A fact was did not ignored by the Fleshrenders.
As if let off invisible leads, the two beasts in unison, bounded towards the promise of meat.

Taylor let out a sigh of relief, rubbing his chilled arm vigorously. He'd guaranteed his own life for that much longer, at least. Once he'd managed to tone down the pins and needles, he plucked the knife from what was left of the beast's head, unnatural blood still steaming off from the heat of the blade, and turned to look for a different exit. The building being in an obvious state of disrepair, that wasn't so hard... if he could brave the leap. No doubt there were more beasts where that one came from. He looked out the gaping hole in the wall out onto the ruined landscape, seeing a warped street lamp not too far below. "Yeah. I can make that..." He jumped out, caught the lamp, and dropped below among the rubble of what might have been a wall at one point. With another sigh, he took off running. Anything to get some distance between himself and any more of those beasts. Turning a corner, dashing into an alleyway... and nearly colliding with a lost wolf. (Which would be, incidentally, Aurora.) "Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the phone..." he said as he regained his balance.
Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.

Blaire Fields

The violet-furred Siberian Husky continued to stare at the pipe by her feet, her mouth agape and her eyes wide. She crossed her fingers - maybe, if just a little luck shone down upon here, these creatures wouldn't notice the sudden din. "Maybe they can't hear anything." she reasoned, hoping that at least something would keep them from finding her.

Unfortunately, Blaire did not have that kind of luck.

Off in the distance, two Fleshrenders made their way towards Blaire's direction; the dog had a few theories about what they would do to her once they reached her, none of them even the least bit pleasant. The Mobian backed up several steps, her heart pounding with full force inside her chest. There was no questioning it; Blaire Fields was quite anxious.
...................................................................................................................
Aurora Lunetane

Aurora still continued to look for her friends, wandering all through the midnight city. The wolf was starting to get a little bit discouraged, wondering during some brief moments whether or not they were even in the city in the first place.

"No," she reasoned to herself, shaking her head. "They have to be around her, somewhere. I mean, I saw Blaire disappear right in front of me! What was there to stop that force from taking Chester and Drake as well?"

Before she, or anyone else for that matter, could answer her question, something, or someone nearly bumped into her going quite fast. Aurora, however, was much quicker, and so she was able to dodge rather easily.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the phone...

The Timber Wolf coked her head to one side. "Hey, are you alright?" she inquired, a concerned expression on her face.
.................................................................................................................
Chester Chipston

"Oh, where on Mboius am I?"

Such was only one of the many questions young Chester Chipston asked himself, as he walked through this rather dreary metropolis that reminded him in more ways than one of Robotropolis.

The chipmunk took a deep breath to try and calm himself down. "Now don't worry, Chester. I'm sure you'll find your way out of...whatever this place is. It's only a matter of time until you do so! Trust yourself - there's no one else around to."
...............................................................................................................................................
Drake McStrype

There was an old saying, one that went; 'between a rock and a very hot place.' Well, while it was actually pretty cool in the midnight city, and adding in the fact that he was up against a brick wall, and not a rock, that didn't stop this particular saying from applying to Drake McStrype, at least a little bit.

For the yellow-furred Bengal Tiger found himself nowhere near where he was supposed to be. Yes, he, like Blaire, like Aurora, like Chester, had been transported to this mysterious city. And without his gun, no less.

And something told Drake, as he leaned against the wall and tried to gather his bearings, that he would need his weapon very soon...

"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine. Just... don't go that way. Big, mean, spiky hellhounds that-a-way," Taylor said when the wolf asked if he was alright. "Aside from that, just fine. Well, a bit cold, but... Waiiiit a minute. I remember you. You were with Oakland. What's Oakland doing in a place like this?" he asked quickly. One could only imagine what was going through Taylor's mind right then.

Slychu turned tail and ran around the other corner of the building. He dropped on all fours picking up speed worrying the 'thing' was right on his tail.

As he reared the next corner of the building he pushed with all his strength to gain enough speed. Once he did so he ran up the wall of the old building, but about half way to the top he lost much speed and began to run on two feet. He was so close to reaching the top. He reached out trying to grab the edge of it, but gravity took it's toll and he lost all his speed and began to fall back down.

He dug his claws into the building trying to slow his fall. As he was sliding down his hands caught an open window. He was shocked to see that he stopped falling. He sighed with relief as he struggled to pull himself up. He managed to pull himself up, but as he was about to go inside there was an orange hedgehog standing in the way.

The hedgehog was waving his arms as he was trying to get attention. Slychu tried to look past the hedgehog only to find another on of those 'creatures'. His face was filled with terror. "What are you doing?!"

--

Chiyu realized whatever the creature was it wasn't after him. He decided to wonder around and search for useful things inside the place. It was dark except for the dim light from outside. He tried to feel his way around only to trip over something. It felt like a staircase...it was a staircase.

He climbed a few floors before coming to a room. It had few windows. Chiyu walked over looking outside on of them. He spotted figures not far from the building he was in. It appeared to be a figure of a wolf. Chiyu squinted his eyes to try and get a better look at the two. Yes a wolf with somewhat bright blue fur. The other he couldn't quite see so well the only thing he could tell is that it was a human.

It was already too dangerous around the land, but he decided it was time to search for other people around the area. And already seeing the two he tried his best to get their attention. To do so he stuck two fingered in his mouth and made a loud whistling noise. He then waved if they saw him to show his location.

Flash kept vigilant watch on the beast as it raced for him. He made a quick glance out the window, double checking the height. Surely this would be a fatal blow to the Fleshrender, surely. Although, considering it had withstood more of the fight Flash dished out, perhaps it wouldn't be phased by the drop. These things seemed inhuman in the assault they could endure.

As the creature lunged for Flash, he smirked a bit. It was all as he had planned, now it just needed to dive out the window. Flash dove out of the frenzied Fleshrender's range. He took no look back outside to see what had happened to the thing. Flash wanted to get out of this hellhole and to a safer spot, hopefully finding his weapons and some form of... friendlier life along the way.

The serval began to make a run for the stairs. He wasn't exactly sure where they were, but had a general idea from his unwanted visitors appearance. After successfully locating them, he put both hands on the railing and used his feet to find the steps down. He didn't want to chance another encounter with a Fleshrender; who knew how many more of those were around. He made his way slowly, but steadily in the darkness.

As he continued down the lower levels of the office building, he could hear a noise. It sounded like a whistle. The noise was a bit faint, but sounded close by. Flash reached the ground floor and was met with a much brighter sight outside, well, brighter than the office at least. The area around him laid in rubble, with a few scattered buildings in the same condition as the office building he was in. It was a disturbing sight, almost as bad as the ruin that happened that fateful day...

Flash shook his head; this wasn't the time to relive old memories. He needed to find whoever was whistling. Flash started to take a few steps towards the direction he thought he heard the sound when a surge of pain shot through his side. Flash looked down to see the dark red blood pooled over a fair sized cut. He held his hand against it as he let out a yelp of pain. That thing must've got him in their scuffle and it got him pretty good. Flash continued to press on as his adrenaline rush subsided, and the pain and fatigue set in.

Terrador's eyes widened in horror as he watched the hellish canine pounce towards him. He couldn't risk aiming his weapon of choice at something moving that speed. Very quickly, the markings on his right hand donned a glow as he pointed a palm at the stone. It hoisted in the air and the hybrid yanked his arm back and took a mighty leap backwards. He induced a sort of back flip with the block careening towards him. At the start of his somersault, he thrusted his right arm out and caught it. The tips of his toes and his left palm slid along the ground with his other arm parallel to the ground holding his prize. It then began to change shape, melding to the form of his arm. As this transformation took place, he got to his feet and aimed his right fist at his foe. The cinderblock was launched at the hellhound in the shape of an oversized fist with great speed. This is also when the sound of a distant whistle filled his ears. This made him realize others were in this godawful place. He would set out and track them down after dealing with this thing.

The Female Ultimate Life Form!
((I'm just going to introduce my second character now.))

Nestled in the debris of the Midnight City stood a large, angled chunk of concrete slab. It was upon that slab that the echidna known as Jewel was fast asleep. She slept peacefully, not realizing the potential danger she was now in. Her adventures in dreamland were ultimately shattered when a bell began ringing across the city.

Jewel winced and the noise, grumbling as her dreams slowly faded to black and her eyes were forced to open. "Is it time to wake up?" she groaned, feeling around for an alarm clock or something to quiet the noise. Jewel turned to locate the noise, but saw nothing beside her, save the ruins of a city. She was confused by the blurs of concrete and twisted metal around her -- her eyes still focusing after the abrupt wake up call. Jewel attempted to aid her eyes, by rubbing them.

Once her eyes fully focused, she jumped at the sight. *Am I still dreaming?* she wondered. Jewel brought her hand to her mouth and gently bit down on her finger. "Ow!" she exclaimed, quickly pulling her hand away. Jewel was utterly confused. One minute she was taking a nap under the stars in her homeland, and the next she had apparently wound up... here.

There was no point in sitting around. Perhaps she could find someone who could give her insight on what happened. Jewel got up, dusting herself off. As she did so, she noticed something wrong. As she patted her hip, she noticed her rapier was missing, sheath and all. Jewel was sure she had fallen asleep with it. It bothered her a bit, knowing it was gone. She wasn't exactly that spectacular in hand to hand combat.

"H-Hello!" Jewel called out, "Is anyone out there?!" She was greeted with nothing but silence. Jewel held herself, uneasily, as her eyes darted across the landscape. "If someone's playing a trick on me, this isn't funny!" she cried, "Please, give me back my stuff!" Jewel let out as sigh as she picked a direction to walk. Hopefully there was someone around who could help her.

As the minutes passed, she noticed something moving about. She couldn't exactly make out the figure, but it seemed to be another person. Jewel smiled as she began to run towards whoever it was. Jewel began to wave her arms. "H-hey!" she exclaimed, "Over here!"
