Tora, how the chicken nuggets do you do that???? Josh the hedgehog, I know this. Maria will be shown as Shadows love in the next chapter. Max, I'm only 13. Give me a break. its my first fanfic, and, *Spoiler* Amy will come in chapter 4. Chapter 3 Shadows P.O.V. Visions of Maria I ran home so I could still have some time to take a nap to be rested to beat the Faker. When I got home, Scourge was watching wrestling on T.V. I said to him, "How can you stare at that pointless thing? It's just a waste of time. Read a book once in a while." Scourge looked at me through the top of his sunglasses, which really annoyed me, rolled his eyes, and went back to staring at the T.V. I went to my room, which had my name written all over the walls in spray paint graffiti, my special touch. My bed was round, and had black and red velvet blankets. On my bedside table, a picture of Maria. I grabbed her picture and sat on my bed. I stared at it for a few moments, looking at her beautiful blue eyes. A tear escaped from my eye. I rubbed my face, fighting the storm of tears, for tears are a sign of weakness. I sat her picture down and layed on my bed. I shut my eyes. It was 4:20, so I had about 30 minutes to sleep. I plunged into sleep in about 2 minutes. I saw a beautiful castle looming over a sparkling lake. I was dreaming. I found myself running on a bridge made of ice that was over the lake leading to the castle. When I reached the castle door, it opened on its own and I walked in. I looked around. A chandelier with sparkling pink crystals was hanging overhead. There were stairs to my right that lead to the tallest tower. The railing was made out of gold and silver. My instincts were telling me to go up the stairs, so I did. I just kept running and running until I got to the top of the stairs. When I got to the top, I stopped and stared in the room I was standing in. Everything was broken. Someone called my name. "Shadow? Shadow?" The voice was that of a females, and it sounded sweet, yet frantic... Maria! "Maria! Maria!?" I yelled out at the top of my voice. "Shadow?" Maria answered back. "Shadow!" She yelled as she ran around the corner and embraced me in a hug. "Oh Maria, I thought I would never see you again." I said, my voice cracking because I was on the verge of crying. "Shadow the hedgehog, promise me you will never do anything like that ever again!" Maria said, looking at me with her scared and loving blue eyes. I looked at her quizically, wondering what I had done, then I took a look at my wrist, the same place Maria was looking. I had cut myself the day before out of depression, and I had scared Maria. Maria was now sinking her head into the white fur on my chest, crying. I was just standing there like an idiot, just hugging her, then suddenly, I started to sing. "I love you, I have loved you all along. And I miss you, Been far away for far too long. I keep dreaming you'll be with me, and you'll never go. Stop breathing if, I don't see you anymore." I was surprised at myself, and Maria was surprised at me too. Maria sniffled, then said, "That was beautiful, Shadow." I hugged her one more time, then she said, "Shadow... we need to talk." She said this in a worried tone. "What is the matter, Maria?" I asked. Maria looked around a couple of times to make sure nobody was listening, then she said, "The pink hedgehog awaits in your near future, Shadow." I stared at her, wondering what on earth she meant. It seemed as if she knew what I was thinking, because after a short, awkward silence, she said, "She is the chance of love for you, Shadow. The chance of happiness without me around you." I was so confused. Happiness? Love? All of those things without Maria? Sounded impossible to me. "But Maria," I started. "You are only one of the increasingly small handfull of people who accept me for who I am. If others hardly accept me, how do you know this, 'pink hedgehog,' will?" Maria stopped and looked lovingly at me, then she stroked my quills. Maria. One of the only people who can stroke sharp quills and not pull away yelling 'ouch.' "Shadow," Maria started. "I wish for you to be happy without my presence. Trust me, Shadow. This hedgehog will make you happy. I stared at her a moment, thinking about the possibility of me being happy, a rare emotion for me, without Maria. She looked back at me with questioning eyes, probably wondering if I would accept this, 'pink hedgehog.' "As you wish, Maria." WHEW!!! Chapter 3 is done like dinner! Till next chapter, sayonara, suckas!! BTW, song belongs to Nickleback. and yes, this is going to be a songfic. Edited by Nekochii, Jul 20 2012, 11:09 PM.

Age really doesn't matter when it comes to fan fictions, it's pretty much the way you think about those. That's my opinion at least. However i like to applaud that your taking this nice and slow for a shadamy moment instead of just right away diving into what you want the best. Taking the writing nice and slow is a valuable thing when it comes to fan fictions. ^^ |

Okay, Sorry I havnt been posting on this for a while, Ive just been caught up with A LOT of things. So, heres Chapter 4!! Chapter 4 Shadows P.O.V. The fight and the pink girl I woke up in a cold sweat. Maria had made her way into my dreams once again. She rarely ever comes into my dreams. This must be important. I glanced at my clock. It read 4:50. I got out of bed, put on houver shoes, and grabbed my Chaos emerald. I let out a sigh remembering the confusing things Maria had said to me. How will some 'pink hedgehog' make me happy? Only Maria can do that. I wiped the thoughts away, getting focused on beating the Faker. I walked past the living room, once again seeing Scourge watching the T.V. I rolled my eyes and ran off to Sky Babylon. When I got to Sky Babylon, it was only 4:55. I was surprised when I seen that the Faker wasn't annoyingly early, unlike 99% of the time. I was starting to get annoyed. Faker still wasn't here and it was already 5:01. I folded my arms and cursed the Faker under my breath. "Hah!" There was a sizzling noise that ran past my ears, burning a little fur. I looked behind me causiously, when I saw a purple cat coming up to me. "What are you doing here in my domain, onyx and crimson hedgehog?" Asked the cat, looking at me almost with disgust. This cat truly looked odd. It seemed that all she wore was purple. She also had a strange red jewel on her forehead. "Well?!" Yelled the cat, a fireball forming in her hands. This cat was truly peculiar. She was about to hit me with the fireball when I said, "I am here to fight a blue hedgehog." The cat calmed down. "What is your name, hedgehog?" "My name is Shadow." The cat gave me a small smile, then she said "I am Blaze, protector of my home, Sky Babylon." I didn't know why she was sharing this with me; I didn't really care about what she was saying. All I want to do is beat the Faker and go home. After a moment, I asked Blaze, "Have you seen anybody out of the ordinary come through here to the plateau?" "Oh, yes. I saw many people run to the plateau today. They all said they were going to watch 'The Fight'. I'm guessing that's your fight?" At that moment, a blue blur whizzed past behind Blaze, a pink figure following closely behind. Before I could answer Blaze's question, I started running. Within a matter of seconds, I passed the Faker and I was waiting at the plateau. The Faker was here seconds later, the pink figure finding its own way into the crowd of people. Faker was now standing next to me, smiling and waving to the crowd. I was standing there with my arms crossed, when I heard a high-piched female voice yell, "Hey, Sonikku, lemme know if ya need ta use my hammer!" In response to this, Faker rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath. I was getting impatient, so finally I said, "Let's go." Faker reacted immediately by jumping up into the air and trying a homing attack on me. I dodged the attack, and many boo's came from the crowd. I ignored the boo's and teleported to behind Faker and kicked the back of his head. Faker cursed at me a bit, and more boo's came. Faker kicked my chest and knocked me down. The crowd hollored and rumbled with exitement. I tried to look defeated and it worked. The crowd got louder. When the Faker least expected it, I teleported and the crowd gasped. I smirked a bit, then shone my Chaos emerald into Fakers eyes. Faker blinded, I kicked him from the air with all my might and he went down. To finish him off, I punched him in the face. He was knocked out. The crowd roared with cursing and boo's, but I had won. I looked down at the Faker. he was consious now and he was bleeding out of his mouth. "SONIKKU!" I heard the same female voice from erlier yell. Seconds later, the female hedgehog that had yelled was kneeling next to the Faker with a very worried expression on her face. The female was rose pink, and she was wearing a red dress, matching boots, and a matching headband. Was this the hedgehog Maria was talking about? "Oh, Sonic, you're bleeding! Are you okay? Lemme help you." Said the pink hedgehog, holding a wrag out for the Faker. Faker smacked her hand away and said to the rose colored girl, "Amy, I don't need your help! Now leave me alone, you stalker!" I looked at the rose girl, apparantly Amy. She cried silently a bit, then while she was running away, she was bawling. I was interested in this girl, so I followed her. When she reached her destination, she sat on a tree stump. We were on a grassy hill, overlooking a lake. There was an Oak tree to the left of where Amy was sitting. She was crying softly and saying things like, "Oh Sonic, why do you hate me?" And, "Maybe I should stop chasing you..." I jumped up into the branches of the tree so I wouldn't be seen. I made some noise getting up into the branches, and that made the girl turn her head my direction, but she did not see me. After a few minutes of sitting in the tree, (And watching her cry,) the branch I was sitting on gave way and broke. I fell out of the tree and was now sitting to the left of the pink girl. Unexpectedly, she ran up and hugged me while crying. At first, I was very skeptikal and almost pulled away several times. But after a few moments, I fell into it and hugged back. Why am I hugging her back? Do I feel... empathy towards her? After a few seconds, she let go and said, "What's your name?" "Shadow." "Shadow... Why did you come here?" "Because I wanted to know why you were crying, girl. What is your name, and why were you crying?" "My name is Amelia Rose, but you can call me Amy. I was crying because I really like Sonic but he hates me, and I was just trying to help him, and - Oh, Shadow!" Right then, she burst into tears and sunk her head into my chestfur. I comforted her by rubbing her back and running my hands through her very soft quills. "Oh, Shadow, I hate him now. I want him to pay." "I promise you Rose, I will get that blue wretch if it is the last thing I do. Now tell me, why does the Faker hate you?" "First off, thank you, Shadow. I think he hates me because I chase after him so much. But I guess after so long of chasing something, it loses its purpose..." I stared at her. Such a delicate creature, mangled by the Faker. I now hate him more than I already did. Rose sniffled, then said, "Shadow?" "Yes?" I replied. "Will you come back here sometime? I come here at 7PM everyday, and I would really love some company." I thought about this for a moment. Maria had said that I would be happy around a pink hedgehog, but was this the right girl? I guess I kind of... care for her. Do I? Something in my head was telling me to accept, so I said, "I will sometime, Rose." She was looking at me and smiling. I looked into her eyes and I saw Maria. "I really will." "Thank you." Then I ran home, remembering her all night long. She stayed in my mind. YARG! Yay it's done! this took me an hour and a half to type up!  Till next chapter, THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!
