I wouldn't have time to devote to keeping it going, but I was thinking maybe there could be a sort of "Game of the Week" thing, where every week, one Sonic game is highlighted, the storyline and basic details get posted, and then it can be discussed, reviewed, all that fun stuff. It would take a bit of work gathering the info each week from whoever would spearhead it, but it might be a good discussion booster, it could be fun, we can encourage users to go back and play the game again and give fresh thoughts afterward, things like that.

I am still brainstorming. I'm kind of shocked from seeing this topic. I post in the thread this responds to and next thing you know, I see this. Omerto (almost typed down "Omerta.") is at the right mind set. Unfortunately, I have lost my creativity and I'm not so ideological anymore. Though, I've had previous ideas for things that I believe wouldn't do much to the forum besides make it look pretty. Here's some ideas that involve forum appearances... Sonic Archie Comic Skin (All of the main Sonic Archie characters.) A New Forum Logo (I love our forum logo right now, but I was just thinking...would it be a great idea?) New Forum Advertisements for other Sonic Forums. (Just a suggestion.) New X-Rank Mythical Warrior Font Color (The font color for the X-Rank Mythical Warrior rank seems very dull. It's a dark, septic-looking green. Why not brighten it up a little bit?) We already have a Facebook Group. Why not go farther and get a group at other places? (For example, we should seriously have a DeviantART group unless if we already have one... :V ) Other skin ideas... Sonic Unleashed Skin Mystic Ruins Skin SEGA Genesis Skin Chao Garden Skin Metal Sonic Skin Neo-Metallix Personal Skin (A skin made personally by Neo himself.) Blizshadow Personal Skin (A skin made personally by Bliz herself.) Bowie Personal Skin (A skin made personally by Bowie himself.) Robotnik Skin SEGA Skin (A skin that is just made for Sega in general. A lot of different Sega Games can be featured.) Sonic Team Skin (A skin with as much popular Sonic Characters we know and with the Sonic Team logo, of course. A skin based off what started it all.) Silver and Blaze Skin (Just a suggestion.) Chaotix Skin (Yeah yeah, B-BOY! That's just the wurd ya' hurd!) Attachments on Private Messages. It'd be cool to have attachments on private messages. Those are my ideas. Also as good as the 'game of the week' thing sounds, that only goes well until we run out of games and have to start looping them. Unless we're somehow getting a flow of new members who missed the last round of discussion, it probably won't last. Not to mention just being a general pain in the ass to organise. I had an idea for a contest I might run here once but I've since forgotten. If it comes back to be I might let you all know how it goes.

And yeah, that could fade in the end, but it would be something for the present that would help out and from it, more ideas could even spawn. If I had more time I'd go ahead and give it a go but I wouldn't have much time for it, but if anyone does want to give it a go I'd encourage it. But only if they'd have time and would want to, because it would be a bit of an undertaking..

Coincidentally, the only good ones I got are for Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The previously mentioned S3Complete and S3&K The Challenges respectively. That if the thread's discussion value can offer such, without winding up ether the wrong side, someone trolling another, or simply end up spamming, seen as there's nothing more relevant to say. Each project that's invested, will ultimately put a few members on an distinct pressure. Don't need mentioning about the tournament. And when one fails to encourage a few others, it will only slowly consume to an everlasting halt. I may be an overly negatively looking guy, but I don't see many alternatives to fix what's already been lost. Spin, D'Metal and MoD have obvious made an effort doing their radio shows for the SB's community, but they can only do so much, before life takes second command, and we all need to prior real life. Even I attempted doing regular shows, but my old pc failed, and seen as how successful it went last time, I ain't doing it again. No offense to members, it was my own fault. And serious people tend to get tired of the same music constantly anyway, that's why Spin's, or the MoDcast's better, with it's everlasting change of songs, requested. But hey, I'm positivie to see something, but I have no idea what could possible contribute.

Maybe two-three? Well if the idea were to be ran with I could talk to Metallix about a rule bend for the sake of Hack overviewing. I'm sure he'd be okay with that really, because I mean opening that up would for sure add quite a lot to discuss, and some hacks out there are so very well done and professional, adding to previous games or even some that are meant to bridge gaps between games. So if the idea is taken up I can definitely talk with Metallix about giving it clearance so that hacks can be reviewed if desired and thus would allow for more discussion and interaction. Not to mention there is a fair sized community out there yet who centralizes around the game hacks, and it could draw in newer members. Which I suppose is still a modern day goal?
