She looked at Fotiagos and couldn't help, but smile. "What was the smirk about?" she asked, telling him about his reaction to seeing her and hearing her. "Just curious," she said. |

When Yvette asked her question, the wolverine had already obtained a spoon from one of the drawers and had already started on his steaming meal. His fur also ceased its glowing and his sword was sheathed. He looked at her and raiesed an eyebrow, fighting a smile as well. "I was simply admiring your persistance." he replied. "I'm not exactly friendly, yet you insist being kind to me." he replied. He was actually grateful for her mindset. It was the kind of thing he needed. |

"Likeable?" Fotiagos questioned with a sceptical huff. He snickered at the very thought of him being likeable. Than again, she was the first person in a long time he was actually able to interact with. "If you say so." he continued, clearing his throat before looking down at the last couple bites of the meal he had. |

"You got to understand. Just by the fact criminals are judged a lot and avoided, people can't really tell if you're a nice person. Well, you're not nice, but they would realize how tolerable you really are. They just never give you the chance. I like you. I think you're funny when it comes to your sarcasm and many people would hate you and think you are horrible and you lack heart, but I think you are a very nice person and I think you DO have a heart. Fotiagos was looking to the side as he continued his skeptical demeanor. He slowly turned his head in her direction as she continued to talk. Her words brought upon a feeling to his cold and icy heart. The things she said caused his shell to melt away. "I give much thanks for your kindness, Yvette." he said with a warm smile across his violet muzzle. "Having such a thought eases my decision of trusting you. I've met only one other person who's more stubborn than myself and I must admit, getting some hard-headed individual to trust you is rather tedious. What I'm saying is you're a great person from what I can tell, and it would only be fair to bestow to you the same kindness you give to me." he went on. ( Yes, I'm making this canon to my fanfic  He is indeed talking about Terrador. )

Yvette smiled and couldn't help, but blush a bit. "You don't have to be kind back. It's not like I'm expressing kindness for no reason. I really mean it. I like you a lot..." Yvette said looking down at the floor. Usually, she wouldn't get this emotional. She was more of a tom boy than anything. Something was different, though. Fotiagos had a personality that Yvette could not describe, but then again, a personality she would dream of. She then, began to grow a bit teary as how happy she was right now was reminding her of Onyx, her older brother. He was the only person who watched over her as a kid. Now that she's older and Onyx moved out far away, she could only depend on one thing, herself, but in this occasion, Fotiagos. She sniffed as a tear ran down her eye. |

What happened next was something nobody, not even Fotiagos, could have predicted. Upon seeing Yvette becoming teary, the wolverine sprang from his seat and approached her. He placed his hands on her shoulders and looked at her warmly. "You okay?" he asked, sounding concerned. This was a first for him. Showing the fiery passion hidden within his cold shell had not been seen in years. |

"Y-yeah, I'm okay," Yvette said with a half of a smile. She sniffled as she looked around. It was getting a bit dark out. "Jeez, how long were we here?" she asked with a puzzled face. "And when do we start what you were planning?" she asked as well. She felt a bit comfortable now as she was actually being held on to by Fotiagos. She started out wanting to crush his skull and now felt a bit happy with him. |

(Sorry for such a delayed reply. I'm finally getting motivation back.) "I'm glad you're okay." he said with an assuring smile. Usually his temperature increased to uncomfortable levels upon feeling anger. His red fur donned a glow yet again, only the heat formed into a warm and soothing temperature as a result of him feeling the more passionate side of fire. It brought some confusion to the wolverine at first. He started out wanting to freeze this woman solid and left for dead, and was now showing her warm compassion. "Time flies sometimes." he said with a chuckle. Getting his remaining laughs out, he continued speaking after clearing his throat. "My plans don't usually begin unless I have work. We'll leave for a new town in the morning and take it from there." he suggested. |

"Alright, well the room you were supposed to sleep in is cleaned up and prepared. If you want something to eat, you can find anything, I don't care..." Yvette said with a chuckle. She had nothing else to say and she wasn't so tired so she sat down on a small loveseat at the side of the room not saying another word, instead began to think a bit. |

"The night is still young and my body isn't ready for rest yet." he simply replied. His fur was no longer glowing and the heat in the room diminished. He made his way over to the kitchen to grab another can of beans. This was a good meal compared to the food he was accustomed to. He sliced the top off again with Ignis and began to heat it up. He sat in a chair across from Yvette and awaited his meal to reach his desired warmth. "I hope you're prepared for the difficulties this life bestows." he stated. |

"Difficult is a challenge for me and I like challenges..." Yvette said. "I haven't lived a life that was as bad as your's, but I'm always in room for challenges. I was a wuss when I was younger, my cousin roughened me up and told me that being a girl does not affect how strong you are against anybody. I took the advice and began following my father's footsteps. Then, pretty soon, my brother's footsteps. Then, I no longer lived with my brother, so I took my own path and did a mixture of both my father's and brother's..." Yvette said. She turned and looked at Fotiagos. "How did you end up like this? I know it wasn't JUST free will that got you this far..." Yvette asked as she grabbed a drink of water. |

Fotiagos nodded his head in understandment as he listened to her speak. Her question caused him to think for a few moments. "I've been like this as far back as I can rememeber. My parents never gave me much nor did they pay any attention to me. I started this life at age 13 and it's simply become normal to me. I wish to live a life of peace, but I don't even know what that's like." he replied. His head was looking slightly downward as he spoke. He hadn't spoke to anybody about his hardships, not even his former master, who was more of a parental figure than his actual parents. He was having some difficulties being this open. |

Yvette saw Fotiagos look down. She put her hand on his shoulder blade. "If it's too hard to talk about, I understand. Seeing you don't have a parent figure gives me the choice to show some sympathy. I depended on who would set an example for me. Not my parents. It's sad to hear that your parents didn't really give you attention. A life of peace is hard to live with. Y'know, there are sayings. Sayings like 'the resistance of evil takes a hard-working man.' Also, being evil, dark, and mischievous is easy so I understand where you're going at with not knowing how to become peaceful. But...I have to ask you, if you never mentioned this to your own master...then why are you telling me this?" Yvette asked with a puzzled look. Am I his only friend? She began to have this thought as she never saw anyone near him and he never mentioned a single friend of his while she was there. |
