General Information- Name:Chiyu Alias: The Healing Archer Age: 798 (Physically: 22) Birth Date: December 8th Species:Kitsune (of the wind and fire element) Gender:Male Height: (on all fours) 2' 2" (Standing) 4' 1" Weight: 82 lbs Dominate Hand:Left Birth Place: Mystic Forest Residence: Mystic Forest (most times, but he will tend to venture further away every now and then) Occupation: Heals those of the pure heart and in need Marital Status: Single Alignment: Lawful Good Personality- Personal Relations- Close Friends: Yuki (Female, Fire Kitsune) Friends: Meiyo (Male, Wolf) Tanoshii (Female, Fox) Romantic Interests: Yuki Rivals:N/A Enemies: Kowagatte (Male, Saber-tooth) Relatives: Shinkokuna (Older Brother) Chie (Father) Shorei suru (Mother) Yokina (Little Sister) Affiliations:N/A Personal Information- Hobbies: Collecting Healing Herbs, Training with healing powers, Sometimes combat training. Likes:Quiet, Collecting Herbs, Shape-shifting, reading, and meditating. Dislikes:People not taking things seriously, Dark Areas, and Shortage of herbs and spices. Preferred Food: Any kind of meat. Preferred Drink:N/A Theme Song:N/A Physical Appearance- Actual look Most used shapeshift Fur Color:Redish Orange Eye Color: (left) Blue (right) Green Hair Color: Red Nose: Black Ears: Redish orange with brown and red tip Tail: -7 tails -Redish orange with brown near the white tail tip Build: Athletic Other Features: Red designs on his face, neck, back, paws, and tails. Attire: -Dark blue band with red designs that covers his right eye. -A belt that holds some of his herbs and spices. -Quiver to hold his arrows Combat Information- Battle Psychology: He will mostly try to avoid any attacking for he is not comfortable with hurting others. Though he will attack when needed. He will wait for the enemy to attack, he then will do his best to dodge the oncoming attack then attack himself. Weaponry & Items: Items Chiyu's Kitsune Ball - this is an item kitsunes have a white ball that does not glow. Says if someone gets it, that kitsune will promise to aid you. On chiyu's ball it has the symbol of healing for that is what he does. Weapons Bow - a wooden bow that Chiyu made himself. If he cannot reach the victim who needs help. He will place the juice from the right herbs and spices in the arrow head. He must be careful to not hit the victim. He will have to shoot it a few inches above the wound as the herbs and spices drip from the arrow into the wound. This is almost impossible to do but he has done it many times before. Spells & Techniques: Common Kitsune Powers/ Fox Majic this is the powers that kitsunes have, but Chiyu has not mastered all yet Illusion - [Mastered] When Kitsunes make Illusions they become reality. It can be from simple things to living people. A handful of kitsunes can make a large city Kitsune Seduction - [Not Mastered] Form of mind control. Kitsunes sway their tail or tails or by meeting the gaze of their target. When mind controlled the victim sees things, a world that the kitsune has made. Foxfire - [Semi- Mastered] Rubbing their tails together they can make lightning or fire. From a small range they can breath fire.They can also make things called "Fox Lanterns" a small ball of fire that floats around them, and guides the way. It can also be used as a weapon and a toy. Shape-shifting - [Semi- Mastered] They can transform into anything they desire. But does not give them the abilities. For example if they turn into a Cheetah they do not have the speed. Chiyu's Magic Healer's Faith - this is hard to do, but when Chiyu does not have the right herbs or spices to cure the victim he focuses very hard on the wound or cause of the illness that leads to death. its a 10 out of 100 percent chance this ever works. Chiyu's Fire -Blazing Tails: He is able to light his tails a blaze willingly. He can burn the opponent by slashing his tails against them, but once his tails are on fire it also effects him as well as it. -Heating Paws: He can make his paws radiate heat. This can be use as a weapon and helpful. It can burn opponents if he forced his paws deep into their skin. Chiyu's Wind -Tornado twist: Chiyu opens his mouth and blows while spinning rapidly causing a massive tornado, he must use this wisley for it destroys everything in its path. -Rifting Winds: Chiyu positions himself with his right paw forward, his left paw back, his right foot centered, his left foot on its toes, and his tails pointed strait out. He then summons a great gust of wind that would most luckily knock his opponent over or carry them away in the wind. He must be careful for it could do the same to any friends or allies. Skills & Aptitudes: -Spiritual connection: He is able to speak with the dead. He closes his eyes and rests his mussel on his Kitsune Ball. It takes lots of focus and energy. It doesn't always work for it is extremely difficult to reach anyone of the dead. -Herb and spices knowledge: He knows almost everything about those. He knows the names of almost all of them, and from which ones are poisoness and ones that are helpful. He also knows how to mix the right ones to make more effective ones. Weaknesses: -He's not a fighter. He focuses more on herbs and spices, thus not knowing much of his own abilities. He is a weak fighter at that. -His speed is weak. His speed isn't that great either. Since his leg got a bit damaged from the bear trap he hasn't been the best runner. -He gets distracted easily. Especially with herbs. once he sees one he'll run over and collect it. History- When Chiyu was 110 his parents had to go on a journey. They were uncertain that they will return. Chiyu didn't know what the journey was about. Every day since the day they left he would sit on the cliff looking down on the land waiting for their return. To this day he hasn't seen them. He fears of their death, but there has been no proof that they are dead. Chiyu meet Yuki when he wen to venture off further away from the Mystic forest. He was wondering around not seeing that he was about to hit a trap. He leg was snapped by a bear trap, He yowled in pain. He then saw a red fox approach him. She helped him escape by snapping the chain. Since then hes ran into her a few times after and they've become close friends. He meet Meiyo and Tanoshii when he was searching for his sister. She was quite a trouble maker and she had gone off on her own. He bumped into them during his search. Though they accused him on being on their territory, things cleared up and they helped him find her. They haven't became that much of close friends, but they have seen each other around every now and then. Chiyu lost his right eye in a fight with that Saber Tooth tiger. He ventured into the dark part of the Mystic forest. Which appeared to be Kowagatte's Territory. He doesn't give mercy to any trespassers so he ended up clawing Chiyu's eye out. He always wanted to get revenge on Kowagatte. When he returned Yuki made him a band to cover his eye. Author's Sidenotes- ah yes this is the first Kitsune i made in Sonic Blast, i believe I've made others but never shared them here. I did take about three things off the template for ones i could not answer. |

"Occupation: Heals those of the pure heart and in need" sounds like he's a doctor, still badass and pretty awesome for that, also is there a reason why he has a patch over his eye? |

Welll... I like it a lot but my main concern is that Chiyu and his friends sound really Japanese. He doesn't really fit the Sonic scene because sonic, despite being made in japan, is the most American video game ever made and the characters kind of reflect that. Sonic, tails, & knuckles are red white & blue!! keep that in mind when designing your character, otherwise he will probably be turned into a "Foreigner" the reason i point this out is: 1) if he is japanese, he'll have a japanese accent and eat ramen and sushi. He'll buy everything with yen and all of his money will have holes in them. 2) if he is japanese, he will most likely be one of Inari Okami (the fox goddess)'s foxes. She is a shinto goddess and so you may want to do some research on her and her enemies and her symbols. 3) if he isn't japanese, non japanese foxes don't have special powers for the most part. And finally, this has nothing to do with the last 3 about his culture but, try to look up some Nursery Rhymes or well known fables about foxes. English foxes act differently than japanese foxes!! well yes they are Japanese. I was making him as true of a kitsune as i could. 1) don't they have currency exchange to change the amount of yen into the amount of American dollars its worth, and im American and i love Japanese foods...i don't see a problem there. 2)I do know much about Okami and i understand that, but they have meerly served as messengers. He is Japanese 3)He is of the Legendary kitsunes. "a common subject of Japanese folklore; in English, kitsune refers to them in this context. Stories depict them as intelligent beings and as possessing magical abilities that increase with their age and wisdom. Foremost among these is the ability to assume human form. While some folktales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others—as foxes in folklore often do—other stories portray them as faithful guardians, friends, lovers, and wives. Foxes and human beings lived close together in ancient Japan; this companionship gave rise to legends about the creatures. Cool!! 1) yeah but i think it would be cool to see him throw yen at robots and shout "payday!!" and then eat sushi rolls in celebration 2) cool. i think she's also the goddess of like rice or something 3) awesome. welll as far as Kitsune go, Tails is better than Naruto. I think a 7 tailed fox would be cool. There should be a 7 tailed something... cuz 7 is like the ultimate number (like with casinos and stuff) |

I had a look at his pictures, and neither of them show a quiver, does he only show it when he's aiming at someone, or is his bandolier the quiver? |

the quiver is strapped around his back. I should have drawn it to partially be shown in the actual look due to the angle, but i think i was a little lazy. So yeah its strapped around his back ah and i forgot to mention his bow only appears when he summons it. |
