Anyone else still hoping to see some? This game definitely deserved a few extra levels.

I still can't use this. Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	We were never promised extra DLC aside from the Casino Night Pinball level in the first place. The game is pretty much complete anyway, at least in terms of levels. There's little indication anything of value was left on the cutting room floor, which was basically the only reason we got anything for Sonic 06 and Unleashed. Making new levels, even extra missions off of existing assets, is probably out of the realm of possibility. They've more than likely dived in headfirst on a next-gen release. But if I had my say and Sega was nice enough, I'd want an extra level- only the two main acts- for each era. The classic one should be Hydrocity, mostly because it's the best S3 level and that game went completely and criminally neglected in both versions. The world is free to fight over the other two.

Normally I'd be an excited little boy and demand Ice Cap without thinking, but recently I've been playing a lot of old-school Sonic. Specifically S3&K. What I did was to play through each of the levels as Hyper Sonic, and do you know which levels gave me the best vibes, the most flowing gameplay, in essence the most fun? Lava Reef, Flying Battery, Mushroom Hill, Ice Cap and... Hydrocity. So for once, amazingly, I'm agreeing with you.
