Sonic Colors isn't too bad. I got the one for DS. Idk if this is a spoiler because I'm sure it could make or break the game experience. Unlike Sonic 2 and 3, none of the new games really allow you to go back and play as Super Sonic. Sonic on Super Smash brothers is pretty cool tho  You can send your suggestions for how to make the game better to Sonic Team. I hope you know Japanese. But rlly for a team whose mascot is faster than sound, they rlly need to catch up. Of Course (i've said this b4) Sonic is more aimed towards kids Edited by TrueBlue, Jun 26 2012, 09:13 PM.

Sonic Colors isn't too bad, yes. While it still has the gimmicks, they don't interrupt the sonic game as much and are very clever to use. If you like backtracking and exploration along with Sonic Unleashed Daytime-styled levels, this is definitely the game for you. Along with Sonic Generations. It has the feature of both the Sonic Unleashed Daytime levels along with the classic 2D levels all redesigned in full HD. It is also fun and it's made even longer when you do the missions, which are also pretty neat. The music like always in a Sonic game, is amazing, and if you have a PS3, Xbox or a very strong PC, i recommend you try Generations. Along with the last and the most recent Sonic game, Sonic 4 Episode 2. It is not as bad as Episode 1, with fixed psychics, original new bosses and tons of surprises, along with tag team actions with Tails that are interesting to say the least. If your a fan of the classics, i especially recommend checking out Generations and this game. That's all, hope i gave you something to note. |

The only three games that are universally considered to be terrible by both the critics and the public are ShtH, Sonic 06, and Sonic and the Black Knight. Otherwise, you have 13 years' worth of console and handheld platformers and spin-offs to choose from. |

Colors was okay. The major problem is that it has next to no replay value and is too short, so it'll only last you a few days before you get bored with it. Personally, if I want to look at a Sonic game to play, I go to Unleashed. Still can't fathom why people don't like this game. Maybe because the gameplay is different from the Sonic games before it, (and still stands out in the games that game after, and yes I'm talking about the daytime gameplay) but it's among my all-time favorite games since it's just so bloody fun to play. |

that sounds kinda like something i would say to defend unleashed.It Was the werehog that really got people,and i didn't see anything wrong with the werehog.I mostly think sega was running out of ideas,so they used the werehog which is completely something new that i don't have a problem with.a few fanboys and people hated chip too,i couldn't say he's annoying though(at least he's A LOT better than omochao)i actually thought chip should have stayed in place for omochao.then i would never have to turn him off in generations.As long as sega makes the game good(Im looking at you Sonic 06),and a good plot,then im all for it,thats why sonic unleashed is my favorite modern sonic game to date.And about those medals,they were actually fun to collect,it gave a bit of meaning to the werehog levels. |

The only thing that was annoying about Chip was how he stopped you in his tracks when he was giving you hints. Other than that he was perfect. <3 Also, no helper character in gaming history, including Omochao, will ever be worse than the Zelda series' infamous little sparkly shit known as Navi. At least you can turn Omochao off/avoid touching him. |

Ugh, Chip was annoying when he gave hints ('Sonic!!'). But as a character, he was awesome. And I seriously doubt SEGA was 'running out of ideas' when they made the Werehog.=/ And also, to keep on topic, I'd recommend either Unleashed or Colors. |

Sonic games don't really "suck". It's the people who make them. Quite frankly I wasn't much of a fan of Sonic Heroes nor Sonic the Hedgehog 06'. Don't get me wrong they are playable it's just the stories aren't written good. I like to think of Sonic the Hedgehog 06' like Duke Nukem Forever. Duke is Duke. We should be happy we got a game. But to stay on topic, Sonic Unleashed for Wii/PS2 and the more improved HD versions weren't bad. I loved Sonic Colors. Every problem I had with Sonic Unleashed as far as the physics go they seemed to have fixed. It seemed to be a lot easier to control Sonic while boosting. Sonic 4 and it's second episode were fun and just like the originals except modern and a 3D sidescroller. Generations was the same as Sonic Unleashed and Colors except more pretty but didn't have as much content as the previous two, not to mention no Werehog, Gaia monsters/bosses or wisps. Try them all.
