I can't believe no one made a topic about this.

Trailer:

Basically its the story of a bad guy in a video games that decides to change side. Its going to be release in November in America.

Well Eggman makes an appearance, hope Sonic and Mario show up too even if only has cameos.

Not much else to say... opinion, planing on seeing it, you guys know the drill.

Break out the L-word. The other L-word.
If Eggman's in it, it's probably pretty likely that Sonic will be, too, and Bowser's in it so Mario's also likely. Also, one of the Pacman ghosts was in there, so maybe Pacman? *shrug*

Anyways, I really really really want to see this now. It looks awesome.

Yep.
But you know, when you think about it, that whole make-pretend game that is shown in this movie kinda has it's style to Donkey Kong, especially the two characters. But that may be just an resemblance.

Still, watched the trailer today. I am already preparing to buy tickets.

This isn't a movie for kids, that's for sure. The whole movie will probably be filled with cameos and references to a lot of games. I wonder how many I'll get I mean the whole room with all the bad guys is and I don't even know half.

So I just saw the trailer earlier today as well as see some screenshots on Tumblr (Which is how I heard about this movie in the first place.) So, basically, this is gonna be like the video game equivalent of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

brb buying all the tickets. All of them!

Oh. And in case you guys are wondering about all the characters that are known to make a cameo via the trailer we saw, here's a list found on the TV Tropes page of the movie:

TV Tropes

-The Cameo: Ralph's villain support group consists of Clyde, Kano, Scorpion, Neff, Bowser, Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, Zangief and M. Bison, a Beholder and a zombie from House of the Dead. However, Zangief is not a villain in the games.

-Q*bert appears in the movie, and is the one to tell Felix where Ralph went. He also appears in the Game Central Station with numerous other characters from his game.

-Also in the station is the Paperboy from...well, Paperboy.

So... The movie has been out for awhile (for some of us) and I've noticed a few people have seen this movie by now, so bumping it for the sake of discussion.

I saw the movie about a week ago and it blew my mind! It really is the best movie out there if it comes to video games. There are so many references, the colours are so lively you can't stop looking at it-- especially in Sugar Rush, the story is cute, the OST is pretty good because it sounds just like a video game.

I also need to mention the short movie they showed before the actual movie - not sure they showed it everywhere, Paperboy, was a cute little warming up. I really liked the 3D to 2D effect. It made me smile.

So what were your thoughts on the movie?

Yep, fantastic movie! Very captivating and charming. It's among the best 3D-animated films I've seen, honestly. Memorable, too.

I'M GONNA WRECK IT.

Paperboy was adorable.

I loved this movie! It wasn't as funny as I had hoped, but it was way deeper. And it still had its moments where it made me chuckle.

Loved it, I would give five stars. My friend and I went to watch it together, and I remember watching the trailer earlier this summer. I saw Sonic once when he was in game central, it was a projection of him, but still epic. The first time I saw the trailer, I was drinking some coke, and when I saw Eggman and Bowser, my two fave villans, I almost spit it out all over myself. I called my friend and was like; WERE GOING TO SEE THAT MOVIE. It seemed like it took forever for it to come out, but the wait was completely worth it.

It was a fantastic movie! I am so glad I was able to watch it this week! (about time) However, I was kind of disappointed in the fact that the cameos were only for about 30 minutes. After that, they sort of disappeared. Then again, it's not a total disappointment because the movie is primarily about Ralph so it makes sense to limit the cameos. Also, as mentioned earlier in the thread, that Paperboy short was amazing. It was sweet and heartwarming without the need to use words or colour (sans the lipstick). I loved it!
