Hydrocity Act 2
Ten Dreams - Prologue

Dreams... They feel so real... They bring us to many different places, some which have never crossed our minds before. Some are a cross of places, a cross of fictional places, mashed up to create a setting, to create a scene, to create an entire world... Dreams unlock the deepest desires of the heart. They unlock courage one would normally never have. They unlock passion, they unlock a drive to succeed, and they unlock hidden truths within us all... But they also unlock great terrors. Horrifying demons and dark shadowy pasts lurk within each and every heart. Some are breed to be evil, others hide their evil. But inside a dream, all of that is released. Through our dreams we can learn who we really are, and what vial creatures we contain... Time is absent in all dreams, which is why some feel like they carry on forever, while others are short lived by an abrupt awakening... It is the year of Dreams, in this alien technology way of life. Call it a futuristic era if you will. Either way, aliens from many planets have reshaped earth itself. Yet the most frighting tale of this story has already passed. The world, many worlds, were thrown into another world. A world where the rules of reality do not exist. A dream world they call it, made up of several dreams combined as one to form this grand planet of imagination. Controlled by several beings who ordered this plan into action, this dream world is now the reality of many worlds. They have been ensnared by a mighty force who's soul purpose is to create one world, one large grand world called Dream Mania...

This is the story of our villain... Solo Heart

***************************

The land of Terror. It is not as barren as you would think. A great many of plant life grow within this land. Yet they are the most fierce and horrifying greens you'll ever see. Some of which speak, walk, and take the shape of the locals living within this land. It is true, though this land may seem wild and dangerous, there are several places in which people and beings can live in. Tree tops are one certain location to find entire cities, as well as large bodies of water such as lakes. Our little story begins in one of these lakes. A much smaller lake than average mind you, where we find a few locals of Terror Land fishing for food...

Hydrocity Act 2
It Dropped From The Sky

Wind... It rushes around and strokes a being that is plummeting towards the land below. His eyes are closed, his cloths wave rapidly about, his hair flows with the wind to reveal the rest of his soft and god-like skin. His waving outfit consisted of long dark red shorts, nearly reaching his ankles when he stands. A red and purple tank-top covers his torso. Though his tank-top is all red, the trimming and large symbol on it is purple. A chain around his neck hangs on was the rushing winds try to rip it off. Attached to it is a pendant. A jeweled pendant in fact, shining its beautiful ice blue color back at the sun, as if trying to out perform the bright star in the sky. Black and yellow strands of hair collide according to the wind's pushes and shoves. Even is black eyebrows dance, though they seem more rebellious and hardly give way to the wind's force.

How fast he plummets is unknown. How high he falls is undetermined. Regardless of those answers, what is most true is his fall will come to end eventually. The question that severs more of a purpose, is if he'll awake before he reaches the end. Following that question only brings up several more questions. From where did he come from? Why is he not awake? What event has lead to his current state? Does he dream, or has death already come for him...

"Uh..." His eyelids slowly move as if trying to muster up the strength to open. The rushing winds soon make this task easy as his other senses began to stir awake. His eyes fling open as his vision clears all blurriness. His heart starts to beat in panic as his body begins to respond to his frighten mind. His mouth slowly opens in fear yet words do not come forth. His eyes open wider than normal, expressing his fear very well. His arms begin to move frantically as his body begins to adjust his falling position.

"C-c-... Crap!!" He finally blares out, the rushing winds drowning out his own yelling. All seemed lost as his yelling of pure fear continued. His voice was now beating down the rushing winds as he body throw itself in a state of random flailing. In other words, he was flipping out, as his shouts of not wanting to die could now be heard by those below him.

"Mirinotos..." A light green, nearly faded, skinned being spoke. His dark red hair could only be described as vines. He had black solid eyes with a yellow circular center, wearing gray pants of some kind. No shirt, and no shoes. His feet looked like tree roots, yet they seemed to resemble a human's foot. Only difference instead of five toes he had seven.

"Uh... I'd say a eight." A darker green skinned being replied next to him. His hair was dark brown, looking like tree vines as well. He wore a open trench coat that was black. His shorts, stopping at his knees, were light brown. He too wore no shoes. It was clear that these two were the same beings.

"An eight? Come on Dodoes, shes at least a nine. I'd say nine and a half even." The yellow haired being replied, turning his attention from his all natural fishing pole to this so called Dodoes.

"Now you're just being a happy doggit. Out of eleven she isn't more than a eight."

"So you're saying you wouldn't chumber that? Is that what you, Mr. I become a happy doggit at every Blooming Bloss I see, are saying to me?" The yellow haired one turned his attention to Dodoes. His eyes narrowed a bit as if Dodoes's comment either annoyed or offended him.

"So what, I like my Bloss young. Miri is a bit too old..." He stopped speaking as he placed his attention on the lake. The holes in his head, which were his ears, hidden by his hair, started to pick up something unfamiliar to him.

"Do you hear that?" He asked Dodoes as he looked around himself a bit more.

"Changing the subject are we? You can't-"

"Shh!" He interrupts Dodoes as the noise started to get louder. At this point, he stood up and started to listen.

"I do hear something..." Dodoes finally confessed, standing up as well as they both looked around. It was growing louder and louder, which started to put these two in a state of fright.

"It... It sounds like its coming from-"

"Hey Solonta! I find me a ripe Bloss!" Another voice came from behind them. Another one of these green beings showed up. He wasn't alone however. He was holding onto a female versions of these begins. Her vine-like-hair was a golden color. It nearly sparkled in the sunlight. Her face was covered in what could only be described as make-up of some kind. She wore a brown cut off tank-top. The bottom half was the part that was cut off, revealing her stomach was bared no belly button. She wore a red skirt of some sort, reaching down above her knees. She was struggling to break free of this guy's grasp, yet nothing she did worked.

"Sylo... What the hell are you doing!" Solonta shouts as he walked towards the two of them. Dodoes was right behind, however they both stopped as the noise from the sky changed. There were words being spoken, to which the four of them looked towards the sky.

"Water!!" The human male shouts. His fear vanished once he mentioned that there was water below. His eyes narrowed and his body adjusted once more. His arms were above his head, his legs straightened out, his body formed into a straight line as his speed picked up.

"Look out below!" He shouts, not really expecting for there to be anyone around. It was just something he felt he needed to shout out before he made his entrance into the lake. Splash! A small wave of water rose up and fanned out in all directions. Luckily the four beings were further away from the shore of the lake. They watched in amazement, waiting to see what fell from the sky. Their eyes were widen. They scanned the lake several times, trying to find whatever it was that dropped from the sky. Cough, cough! The human male crawled out of the water and onto the shore. He coughs a bit more as his head hung low. He was on his hands and knees, trying to catch his breath and control his coughing a bit.

"Ahhhh... That wasn't fun... Not at all..." He comments to himself, coughing in between his short sentences. Once he regained himself, he slowly lifted his head up. His eyes froze on the four beings. They only stared at each other, both parties shocked and in awe of the other.

"Help me!! Please!" The female suddenly shouts. Solonta quickly turned his attention to the female. He bawled up his fists and moved towards Sylo and the girl. His anger clearly shown as a low hiss escaped his snake like teeth that were being shown in order to strike fear into Sylo.

"Stop!" The human roared. His voice contained nothing but rage, which complemented his eyes that are filled with disgust. Solonta slowly turned around, figuring out quickly why he was commanded to stop. Given the situation at hand, Solonta had no other choice but to do as he was told in order to attempt to prove his innocence.

"What! You're going to make us!?" Solonta swung his head towards the foolish and idiotic thug who shouted that. His eyes were as fearsome as the human. Yet Sylo refused to let her go.

"Solon-" Dodoes's voice was cut off by a powerful blow to the head. The human managed to reach the four of them with incredible speed. After his fist connected with Dodoes he moved on towards Solonta. Dodoes's body hit the ground with a thud as the human leaped into the air and swung his foot around. Laying on the floor, he watched as Solonta was thrown backwards by the strong kick from the human. His eyes also watched in horror as his ears rung from a loud crushing sound. His best friend was just kicked into a pointed tree branch which pierced the center of his chest. Yellow blood dripped from the wound as his eyes widen with pain, yet not a sound came from his gaped opened mouth. His breathing stuttered, until finally he exhaled his last breathe.

"Ahh!" The female's high pitched scream forced Dodoes to move his attention towards her. His eyes widened even more as he saw more yellow blood, dripping from the human's right hand and lower arm. In his hand was a blue abnormal circle, covered in yellow blood. Sylo drops to the floor with a hole in his chest, the left side of his chest.

"He... He just... He removed... His... His heart..." He couldn't believe his own stuttering words. The green skinned female was a few feet away from the human, knees held to her chest with one hand over her mouth in shock. For some reason, while looking over this monster of a human, his attention was brought to the symbol on his back. It was a heart. Yet he had never seen this symbol before, nor did he know it symbolized a heart. What confused him was how he knew about this just by looking at the human's tank-top.

"Solonta!" The female shouts with anguish. She just realized Solonta was dead, which lead to her trembling in disbelief.

"What the hell is wrong with you!!" Dodoes shouts as he stood up. His fear of this human, this being, was overtaken by rage from watching his best friend die before his own eyes.

"I swear I'll kill-"

"Sorry..." Dodoes was interrupted by the human, and for some reason he couldn't think of anything to say back. The human's emotion was of sadness, which confused the green skinned male even more.

"I couldn't see his heart... I mean... I couldn't see it before I attacked..." He continues to speak, dropping the heart he was holding in his hand.

"W-what the hell is that suppose to mean?"

"Your... Your the being from the Heart Found myth, r-right?" The female quickly speaks after Dodoes asked his question. The human looked towards the female confused. Truth was, he didn't know who, or what, he was.

"What are you talking about-"

"A being from the sky falls into land. A heart is cast on it but never within it. To see all hearts, to see all dreams. To shatter the world that never should be. To wake up the sleeping lives, to wake up the dreamers inside." Dodoes's eyes widen a bit. He remembers now where he had seen that symbol before. Old tales of ancient times, passed down as bed time stories and short stories to read.

"My Grand Maple use to sing it to me... When I was a child... I... I can't remember how the rest goes though." She adds, looking at the ground for a moment to think to her self.

"Baring no name... Baring a dull frame... It will grow in full, it sill take shape with each pull... For destiny and fate have removed their grasps... What it becomes will be the course of those around it... Ten dreams will seal its path, ten dreams will show healing or wrath... This is the year of Dreams." Dodoes's thoughts continued to focus on the words that ran through his head. He knew this myth very well, and he hated this myth very much.

"Am I right?" Her voice interrupted both the human and Dodoes as they focused their attention on him.

"I... I don't know..."

"Don't got a name, I take it." He finally spoke up after the human. He walks towards him, seeing as he looks less fearsome than he did several seconds ago. The human simply nods his head to confirm that he in fact didn't have a name, or couldn't remember it.

"Guess we'll have to give you one..." He looked towards the female who simply shrugged as if she hadn't a clue on what to name him. He looked around for a moment, only to focus on Solonta with sadden eyes. After holding back his tears and sighing deeply, he nods his head towards Solonta's crops.

"Solo... Solo Heart..." He spoke out, to which the human took this name in for a moment before nodding with a light smile.

"I like it..."

"Good, cause you didn't have a choice in the matter anyways." The both of them smirked towards each other once Dodoes spoke his comment.

"What do we do with Solonta and Sylo?" The girl asked as she moved her attention from one dead body to the other.

"We'll make it look like they killed each other..." Dodoes answered, walking over to Sylo's heart which was on the ground. He picked it up and started to head over towards Solonta.

"Turn your shirt inside out... Don't want to draw attention to ourselves..."

"Yeah, sure... What about... What about my skin?" Solo asked, realizing they were green and he wasn't. After Dodoes placed the heart on the ground next to Solonta, as if it dropped out of his hand, he turned around and smiled lightly.

"Nothing... You aren't the first human we've seen..."

"Yeah but... What about his tail?" The girl asked, bending down a bit as she pointed to Solo's lower back. Solo arched an eye brow as he looked over his shoulder. His eyes spotted a black slender tail. A good portion of the tip of his tail was curled up on the ground. Once he spotted his tail, it was like he could feel it. He didn't know he had a tail until now.

"Huh... That... That's kinda new..." Solo comments, to which the girl only giggled at his comment. He lightly smiled in return, feeling a bit joyful that he managed to make her smile. Dodoes on the other hand displayed a concerned expression.

What it becomes will be the course of those around it

This phrase ran through his mind. It confused him. Was it talking about those being around Solo would become as evil or as good as him? Or was it talking about changing the course of Solo's path could be determined by those around him?

"A piece of it is missing..."

"What?" Solo responded. He wasn't expecting anywhere to hear him, seeing as he was merely speaking to himself and didn't know he spoke out loud. It took him a bit to answer Solo.

"Oh! Um... Nothing, just talking to myself... I think we should leave. With all the shouting Elklinso did, I'm sure the Patrol Force is on their way."

"Oops... Sorry." The female uttered, lifting her shoulders up in embarrassment.

"Wait... Who?"

"He was talking about me... I'm Elklinso... But just call me Elo, kay?" She answered, smiling as she moved a bit closer to Solo. The human only smiled a bit as he leaned back a little. She was becoming rather friendly, which was strange since he just killed someone she knew so well. Maybe she really believes he is this divine being.

"Call me Dod... Now that we have our names down, lets go..." With that said, Solo and Elo nod their heads. Once Dod took the lead they followed him quickly, disappearing within the wild greens growing about.

(Thank you. I hope you enjoy this little series.)

Dream One

"Elo, you ready?" Solo's voice came from behind a large shrub. The shrub itself seemed more alive than a normal plant should ever be. It swayed slowly with the breeze of the wind.

"Just a second, please!" She replies with a light shout. Following her reply were small grunts. She seemed to be struggling with something. Whatever it was, Solo kept himself facing the other direction. His eyes were directed upward, battling his mind as images of what she could be doing rushed into his head. He ignored every single thought and remained calm for the time being. That was until she yelped in pain. Without sparing a second Solo leaped into action, literally in fact. He bent his knees and leaped backwards, performing a back flip while airborne. Once his feet were planted on the ground he spun himself around while crouched with his right hand balled into a fist and his left hand on the ground. His eyes quickly widened as his face became flushed. He gasped as he fell on his rear. His mouth hung open for the twenty seconds it took him to realize he shouldn't be looking at Elo in her current state.

"I-I-I'm sorry!" He shouts quickly as he closed his eyes tightly and turned his head away. The rest of his body was frozen and slightly shaking. His mind screamed for him to get up and leave in a hurry, yet his body seemed to be paralyzed.

"I-its alright... Solo... I-I don't mind you looking." Her voice was shaky, but at the same time it was inviting. There was a hint of shyness between both of them as Solo opened his eyes slowly. His head slowly turned back towards her as he swallowed deeply. His eyes widen as his cheeks blushed more. She was on her knees, yet at the same time she was sitting on her ground with her legs positioned outward to ensure that she didn't sit on her own legs. Her thighs were closed together as her left hand rested upon her right thigh. Her other arm was tucked against her chest, going cross her body as her hand lightly gripped her left shoulder. A ray of light beamed down upon her from the opening of trees above her, making her hair sparkle as her head was slightly turned away from him to hide her rosy red blushing cheeks.

"I um..." She spoke softly, calmly even. Slowly her eyes shifted towards Solo as she continued to speak.

"I actually need some help... If you don't mind..." She confesses as she moves her hand from her thigh towards her other arm. She slowly and calmly adjusted her tank top, which was currently half off. It was at this moment that Solo realized her skirt wasn't on her either. Also, from the way she was sitting, she wasn't wearing any undergarments.

"S-sure... What do you n-need me to do...?" Elo smiles lightly as she heard his reply. She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes. She suddenly stands up and paused for a moment, keeping one hand covering her lower half from being revealed. With another deep breath she turns her back towards him and grabbed the bottom of her tank top. She pulls it over her head and off her body, then held it in front of her as her back was now expose to Solo.

"What the..." Solo's blush was instantly wiped away once his eyes fixed on her back. He stands up as his eyes narrowed.

"Ah..." Elo lightly moaned as she felt his hand upon her back. She kept her eyes closed as he began to move his fingers along her back, biting her lower lip as she felt his hand trace a symbol on her back. His finger tips cresting her back gently caused her knees to shake lightly. She didn't move, but endured his inspection.

"You know who I am... You know what I am..." Elo opened her eyes half away as he spoke. Hearing his voice soothed her, even though there were hints of aggression behind each word.

"Ah!" She lightly gasped as he spun her around to face him. He grabbed her shoulders as he locked his eyes with her. Her lips parted as his gaze fell upon her. She couldn't move. She couldn't even think. It even felt like she couldn't breath.

"Why do you bare the symbol of a heart on your back...? Why can't I see your heart?" He asked her with a cold stare in his eyes. She couldn't respond. She could only watch the torment of her lack of words eating at him. Only air flowed out of her parted lips.

"I need to know-" Solo was interrupted. Elo grabbed his hand and quickly placed it upon her chest. She pressed his hand firmly upon herself, allowing him to feel her heart beat. Her heart was steady and calm. A few seconds before his hand was upon her, her heart was fluttering. Yet now it eased and relaxed according to his touch.

"I love you..." She whispered over her heart beat. The two of them only gazed upon another. She slowly elevated herself to his height by lifting herself up on her toes. Their lips were only inches apart as they continued to lock eyes. She moved her body closer to his until they met. Her lips quivered as they parted a bit more. Her breathing started to stutter as she pressed her body against him. She tilts her head little by little, bracing herself for what she thinks would be a kiss of passion. Closing her eyes she leans her head towards his. Their lips lightly touch, but nothing further than that. She opens her eyes to see that his expression has not change. His cold stare remained no matter how close she got to him.

"At least... I'm suppose to love you." She whispers in defeat. She lowered herself as she planted her feet back on the ground instead of standing on the tips of her toes. She sighs while turning her head away from him and lowering her eyes to the ground.

"I don't know who or what you are... All I know is that I'm suppose to love you..." She admits, resting her head upon his chest as she closed her eyes. She embraced him even though he wouldn't embrace her back.

"Lets find out then... Together..." His voice caused her eyes to shoot open. She turned her attention towards him with a surprised look. He was smiling. Although his smile wasn't as big as she wanted, he was smiling nonetheless. Her eyes shimmered in the light as they began to water. Her lips spread into a smile of her own, and soon parted for a light giggle.

"Solo! Elo! We need to get moving! This isn't the time to take a break!" Dod's voice could be heard in the distance. Elo looked towards his voice with a bit of panic, knowing he was closer to them then they had expected.

"Dod! Hes going to see-"

"Let him..." Solo replied, pulling her back towards him as she tried to break away. She was surprised when she was pulled back. She didn't know what else to do, so she remained in his arms.

"Hey! I said we need to-" Dod's shouting was halted as he rounded the shrub. His eyes widen upon seeing the two of them.

"Uh... Ahem." Dod spun around with a bit of blushing on his cheeks.

"We need to keep moving. The city is just a few miles ahead of us." Dod quickly spoke. He nodded to himself and started to walk away.

"Come here..." Solo's voice spoke from behind him. He stopped walking and slowly looked over his shoulder.

"I said come here..." Dod was a bit put off as Solo gave him an order. He didn't see any reason to disobey him so he did as he was told. He looked upon Elo for a moment, who was currently wrapped in Solo's arms to hide most of her body.

"We need to figure out a way to hide the symbol on my shirt, and my hand..." He tells Dod, who simply nods his head to confirm that he understood this.

"Here, take my coat then." Without even giving it a thought Dod removed his black trench coat and handed it to Solo.

"My skirt got caught on a bushent and ripped. So I guess I can tear the bottom half off so you can wrap your arm with it." She informed them. She quickly jogged towards her skirt while Dod looked away from her. After giving her skirt a few good tugs she managed to free it. Afterward she ripped the bottom half off and slipped it on. Before she returned to Solo she grabbed her tank top and put it on as well.

"Here, hope it helps." She tells him with a smile. Dod turned his attention back towards Elo and Solo. He was a bit confused as to why he needed his arm covered. He soon got his answer as Solo lifted his arm up. It was stained with Sylo's blood, even though he tried washing it off. It appeared that the blood made its way into Solo's skin, transforming it even. Either way it would stand out in the crowd, as your average human doesn't have a green arm. After wrapping his arm he looked at the trench coat Dod gave him. Three buttons is all it had. It was enough to hide the heart symbol on his tank-top, so he didn't complain.

"Looks like we're all set... Lets go." Solo and Elo watched as Dod started to lead. Elo was trying to adjust her skirt. She wasn't use to wearing short skirts so it would take some getting use to. Solo simply nod his head and followed behind him. Elo was at his side, smiling as she would take a glance at her 'soon to be' lover. The coat seemed to capture who he really was, and she enjoyed that.

Several minutes passed before the trio reached the edge of the jungle. The city before them was booming with activity. Humans, Leafnors, which were a plant like creature that took the shape of the locals, and Woodkins, the locals of Terror. The trio advance into the busy streets and soon blended in. Strange creatures zoomed around, some flying, some crawling, and some walking. They were considered the transportation around this land. A good few of them didn't seem domestic. It would appear that they have been trained or equipped with some kind of device that controls them. The trio were walking through the second largest grounded city in Terror. This was a good thing. They wouldn't be noticed so easily. After much walking they arrived in a town. There was less noise here and everyone seemed to know each other.

"We have to remain together. A lot of time has passed and we're not sure if the Portal Force have made any progress with Slyo and Solonta's death. If we break-"

"Look! Its Harpney! She'll tell us more about his Heart symbol!" Out of excitement, Elo interrupted Dod and pointed at her friend, Harpeny. Still bubbling with glee, she rushed ahead of them and jogged towards Harpeny.

"Harpney! Over here!" She shouts cheerfully. However, her smile slowly dimmed as she realized who was standing in front of her friend. She came to a complete stop when she saw Harpney's sadden face as she shook her head to try and warn her. By then it was already too late.

"Gottcha!" A male leafnor shouts as he grabbed Elo and held her by the arms. Elo shouts as she tried to break free, remembering the same horrid feeling when Sylo did the same.

"Hey there, Elo. Had a nice stroll?" A large Woodkin asked as he presented himself to her. He was followed by several others, some which were human. He displayed a devilish smile as he looked her up and down, thinking of the many things he was going to do to her.

"I'll handle this... Just... Hang back for a moment." Dod tells Solo as he patted his shoulder. He ran on ahead as the human did as he was told. He wouldn't watch for much longer though, his narrowed eyes would tell anyone that he was about to rip someone in half.

"Stalklor!" Dod shouts, calling the large Woodkin's attention. The big guy looked towards the shouter when suddenly his face was gripped by branch like fingers. They wrapped themselves around his head and forced him back until his back slammed into one of the hut's doors. Dod's entire arm was extended greatly. As well, his arm grew in size the closer it got to Stalklor. This was one of the Woodkin's abilities. They are able to expand and stretch their limbs. Only a few knew how to properly form their limbs into sharp weapons.

"Gah! Don't! Stop!! Ahhh!!" Stalklor's muffled shouts were felt through Dod's arm. Yet he ignored them as he continued to squeeze his large and branch like fingers around his head.

"Please!!" Stalklor shouts louder than before. It wasn't in his heart to kill the large lug. So Dod released him and retracted his arm to it's normal size. Stalklor gasped for air as he fell to his knees, coughing as he held his head in pain.

"Listen up!" Dod shouts to those gathered around him. Many stopped to see what the commotion was about, while others seemed to be waiting for this event to take place.

"Solonta is dead!... I was there when he died... Now, I don't know what the Portal Force told any of you, but Sylo had it coming. He betrayed the gang and acted rashly... You all know that I'm second in command, so it is my right to take Solonta's place as leader."

"That's where you're wrong, Dodoes." Suddenly a large club collided with Dod's head. He slammed against the floor with a loud thud as he spits out yellow blood. His head smacked against the ground, which was a lot softer than the club he was just hit by.

"I'm taking over this gang. And you don't got any say in the matter." Stalklor informs him as his arm adjusted to its normal size from club shape it just had.

"Now our code says that in order for me to properly do that, you need to be dead..." Dod shouts in pain as the large Woodkin kicked his foot into his stomach. More blood spewed from Dod as Elo began to cry and shout to make him stop.

"And dead you shall be..." He slammed his large foot upon his chest, causing him to scream in pain as he strained under the weight being pressed down upon him. Elo was crying more than shouting now. She tried to break free but couldn't, so her struggles became less and less. Something caused the entire group to stop and turn their heads. One of the gang members was launched into a hut and tore right trough it. His body flung out of the other side and smacked into a tree, where he dropped on his face and laid their lifelessly.

"Who the-" Out of nowhere, Solo soared through the air and slammed both of his feet upon his face. The large being was rocketed into the hut behind him, breaking the door open and wrecking the inside of the hut. The human curled into a ball as he rolled backwards in the air, then lands on his feet in a crouched position as some dust rose from the ground. He slowly stands up and looks around. There was fire in his eyes, and a hunger to kill. He reached for the button of his trench coat and started to undo it. He moved down to the second one, and soon reached for the third. By then one of the gang members decided to attack. Solo quickly lifted his free hand, his covered hand, and grabbed the fist that was thrown him. His eyes pierced the Woodkin's heart. He was frozen with fear. Slowly the pain began to present itself as Solo squeezed his hand around the plant being's fist. Finally he undid the last button, just in time to catch the other fist thrown at him by the same guy.

Solo quickly release the first fist he caught and pounded his own fist into his attacker's face. The guy stumbled back, yet he didn't get very far since Solo still held his fist with his other hand. Pulling the guy back Solo pounded his fist into the guy's face again. He did this once more, but this time he stepped forward and leaned his whole body into his punch. Letting go of the guy's fist he watched the being slide across the ground with blood trailing behind him. Within seconds a puddle of blood formed around the being's head. One down, and several more to go. As he opened his trench coat his long tail unwrapped from around his waist. It flopped to the ground with soft thud-like noise. Then there was silence... Everyone waited for Solo to make his move, yet he did nothing. It was like he was waiting for something, waiting for some type of reaction. Soon, he got what he wanted. Those that were standing in front of him saw the heart symbol on his tank-top. Some gasped while others widen their eyes in fear and disbelief.

Suddenly his tail split into two and raced forward with great speed. They impaled two of the gang members within seconds. They couldn't even utter a single sound as their eyes rolled back, declaring them dead. Four more black slender tails raced from Solo's lower back. They struck four more gang members with lighting speed. Everyone gasped in fright, while others were frozen in awe. The human flung the dead from his tails and retracted them back to one single tail. It flopped onto the ground again as Solo stared upon the being who was holding Elo. His eyes threatened the guy as he narrowed them in hate. Yet the being was too fearful to even move, and so was Elo. Having waited only for few seconds Solo started to unwrap his arm. Within a few moments his green arm was revealed. It was more monstrous then before, as if each kill fed it more power. He calmly lifted his palm towards Elo and the guy holding her. Her mouth hung open in fear as she felt the guy behind her shaking.

"Gaaah!!" In a flash, several branches stabbed into the guy. Some were in his arms while others were in his back and shoulders. Solo preformed the same attack Dod did, yet this attack would do something that no Woodkin can ever do. Solo began to control the guy's body, causing him to release Elo and push her forward. She stumbled into the human's open arm and clung to him tightly as he pulled her in.

"Solo..." She moaned as tears streamed from her tightly closed eyes.

"Please don't-" She was too late. A loud yell pierced the sky as the sound of blood splashing against many things was heard. She felt some droplets of blood upon her legs and arm which caused her to wince in fright. She only buried herself more into his arms at the thought of looking up and seeing pieces of the guy's body everywhere. She felt Solo pull away from her which forced her eyes open as she gasped. He started to walked towards Dod who was currently laying on the ground. She was shaking from fear of what she would see should she turn around.

"Elo..." A soft voice called to her. She didn't want to turn around though. She remained facing the opposite way.

"Come on, Elo." The voice called again. This time the owner of the voice grabbed her arm gently and embraced her in a hug. It was Harpney. She clung to her friend as she closed her eyes tightly again, allowing her to lead her away from the bloody scene. At some points she could feel her feet stepping into his blood. Hearing the squishing sound that followed each step causes her to cringe in disgust and fear. Solo followed behind them while carrying Dod on his shoulder. The sounds of horns blaring could be heard. This sound was the call of the Patrol Force. By the time they arrived on scene Solo and his group were already gone. The Patrol Force themselves were speechless. They have never seen such bloodshed within this city, not in this manner, and Terror was known for its violence.

"You can stop pretending now. I know you're awake." Solo comments as he nudged Dod who was still being carried on his shoulder.

"I'm not pretending, Solo. You're doing such a great job carrying me like this, I thought I'd just take another nap while you lugged me around." Solo smiled upon hearing his voice. Of course, he reacted accordingly by dropping Dod flat on his stomach. A small 'oof' came out of the Woodkin as he hit the ground. Solo smiled a bit as he got up and dusted himself off.

"So much for that..."

"We're here." Harpney spoke up as she called over her shoulder to them.

"Good, cause I was going to make you carry me again." Dod joked as he elbowed Solo with a smirk. The human only smirked back as he followed. His smile dimmed as he caught Elo looking upon him for a moment. Her gaze was different than before. She seems timid, looking away quickly when she realized he was looking at her.

"She'll get over it." Dod comments, seeing his smile fade when Elo looked away from him. Solo just stared at Dod for a moment. Did he see the whole thing? Why was he not effected by what happened?

"How much of it did you see?" Solo asked as they exited the jungle and ventured into a small open area.

"All of it..." Dod replied, yet his smile wasn't present as he spoke.

"You don't seem bothered by what I did."

"I've seen it before... Not exactly in that manner, but I've seen such a sight before... I've participated in such horrors before too... I was hoping that you'd be better than Solonta, and not become worse than him." His last words confused Solo. He could only imagine that Solonta had done something similar.

"Maybe I was meant to be this way..."

"We'll find out soon enough." Dod replied rather quickly. The four of them managed to reach a large hut in the middle of this open area. Harpney knocked on the door. A voice called afterward, followed by the sound of someone stumbling over varies things. Finally the door open to reveal an old Leafnor. He barely looked like a Woodkin, displaying his plant-like nature more so.

"Oh... Harpney... And Princess Elo."

"Princess!?" Both Solo and Dod shout together. Elo blushed a little as she turned around towards the guys with a nervous smile.

"Its a long story. We can discuss..." The old leafnor stopped speaking when he spotted the symbol on Solo's tank-top. His eyes widen in awe as he made his way pass Elo and Harpney. He slid to a halt in front of the human and looked him over.

"By the gods!" He shouts as he looked him over again.

"Can it really be you!?" He asked as he produced four more arms and began to examine him by touching his arms, his face, his legs, and spinning him around to see his tail.

"By the gods it is you! You're the being! The divine being meant to save the lost worlds from utter calamity!" Solo managed to break away from the old guy's grasp. His eyes narrowed a bit as he eyed the guy.

"I wouldn't go as far as divine, Divci. You didn't watch him shred a leafnor like paper." Dod spoke up while signalling Solo to remain calm by placing his hand on his shoulder. This only helped a little, as his tail merged back into one instead of two. Dod caught this action and spoke up to prevent this old guy from being ripped apart.

"Hm... What color was his heart? Oh! Better yet, what shape was it!?" Solo was hesitant to answer Divci's question. He figured he had nothing to lose, so he did it anyways.

"It was dark blue... It had the shape of a ball with spikes around it."

"And looking at his heart, how did it make you feel? Did it anger you? Did it make your blood boil? Did it call for a since of justice to be forced upon that maggot's-"

"It pissed me off that someone who is suppose to love me was being held against her will! I felt nothing in between! My rage is my own, my anger is my own! Nothing compels me to kill! I just do it!" Divci was shocked by his answer. He could see the anger rising within the human's eyes. It brought a sense of fear that he has never felt before. With his yellow solid eyes, Divci braved another question.

"Can you answer me this, my good sir...? Can you try to finish a reciting if I start it off...?" Solo just stared. He wasn't sure what this old guy was saying. He shrugged his shoulders as to give him the go ahead and speak these words. With permission given Divci nodded his head.

"Follow your heart, follow your dream. Awake form slumber, awake from reality. Bend your will to calling of your heart, what dream will you display-"

"I bring dismay, I burn everything away. I form the terrors, I form the horrors. I am the nightmare that descends upon these lands. I am the villain that devours the hero's plans..." Solo quickly shook his head, as if he just snapped out of a trance. His eyes had stopped glowing red after he finished speaking. He was confused, lost, and even more angry than before.

"What did you just do to me!" He shouts as he leaped forward, grabbing the old guy by his clock and slamming him against the side of his door frame. Divci only shook his head in shock. His mouth hung open to speak but nothing came out.

"I... I... I did nothing... It was all you... That is what's in you..." He finally spits out. Solo's eyes widen with confusion and anger.

"Get him away from me!" Divci shouts in anger as he shoved Solo off of him. The human wasn't expecting for the old leafnor to be so strong.

"I will have nothing to do with this being!" He shouts again as he motioned for Harpney and Elo to leave.

"No! You have to help him!"

"Why! He is the calamity bringer! He is the evil of all the lands! Why should I help him!?"

"Because I'm suppose to love this man! And I can't believe that I'm suppose to be the queen of someone so evil! You must help me! I can't be the queen of calamity!!" Elo shouts as her eyes begin to fill with tears. She drops to her knees and begins to sob. Besides her light sobbing no one says a word. Solo's focus was elsewhere as his arms were crossed over his chest. Divci fixed his angered eyes upon the human while Harpney knelt by her friend's side.

"What it becomes will be the course of those around it..." Dod finally speaks up with his hands tucked in his pockets. Everyone turned their attention to him as they waited for him to say more.

"Isn't that part of the myth's saying? It sounds like we can change the course of his future. I'd like to know how we can do that... That's why we came here." Divci thought for a moment. His eyes shifted from person to person, until they finally rested on Elo. With a large sigh he shakes his head while closing his eyes.

"Fine..." He finally speaks as he opened his eyes.

"You'll need to spend the night here. I do not have the scrolls we seek within this household... Harpney, prepare Elo for her daily cleansing." Harpney nods her head and helps Elo to her feet. They only took two steps before Solo's tail gripped Harpney's arm tightly. She gasps from shock as she looked behind her, fear overwhelming her entire body.

"I'm not letting her out of my sight..."

"Well, you must... For her sake that is... And maybe even for your own sake..." Divci comments, and suddenly a vine extended from his back and squeezed Solo's tail. This forced Solo to release Harpney without causing the human much pain. Once she was free she took a moment before heading inside with Elo.

"There might be hope for you yet, boy..." He old leafnor informed him as he let his tail go. Solo just narrowed his eyes as he watched the old guy head inside. Dod patted the human on the back with a smirk, trying to cheer him up which surprisingly worked.

"I'm not giving up on you... I'll stand by your side, Solo. Even if you become this great evil, I'll have your back." A smile formed on the human's face. Dod's words moved him, which presented a smile on his face.

"Thanks..." He replied back. After taking a moment to acknowledge the bond they had between each other, the two of them headed inside the hut and closed the door behind them.
