Features: A bite on his right hand, hidden under the Gauntlet. When smiling, he's the most handsome person any have seen. When not, he's relatively good looking still.

Friends/Family: Thanatos has no known relatives. He had to abandon his only friend a few years ago, after saving their life due to the Ta dakrya tis Pterygas.
Enemies: Daimonas is his main enemy. Other than that, he's generally a roamer, so he doesn't exactly stay anywhere long enough to make enemies. Though, if he is ever seen smiling, he's handsome enough that most other men want to kill him off because he's more than just a potential love rival for whatever girl they're interested in.

Abilities/Powers: Thanatos has mild magical potency, but he can't really use it without assistance from an item. Such as his Ganti tis Kolasis, with which he can create a Demonic Sword by transferring magical energy into the glove. It also requires blood to use this ability. His Ta dakrya tis Pterygas are shoes which allow him to move at a speed that almost transcends that of the Speed of Light. However, he rarely ever uses this ability, due to the fact that it has a very dangerous cost. To use this ability, he is bound to never be with the person most important to him ever again. The way the Tears of the Wing accomplish this, is by putting you in excruciating physical pain whenever you are near that person, to the point of bringing you to tears. At first, anyways. Over time it grows much worse. The final, and worst attribute of it's cost is that the user will never even be able to remember the name of the loved one. He has only ever used this ability once.

Personality: Thanatos is a quiet person, never being one to initiate conversations with people. People describe him as "having a sad face", but he thinks of it more as "a face of one that has lost too much". He doesn't ever really rush into anything, especially friendships. He takes his time, and learns whether or not he can trust the person he's made friends with. He's a bit of a roamer, avoiding getting attached to any place. His only possessions are his Gauntlet, cloak, and his shoes. He is haunted by nightmares, and has issues sleeping. Thanatos is known to wake up gasping, and the only thing that calms him is pain. Therefore, he bites his right hand, to the point of causing it to bleed. This is advantageous in another way as well because his Gauntlet lives on his right hand, and it needs blood to remain in his service. Thanatos' handsome smile could be used to manipulate people, but he generally disapproves of such manipulation. He smiles rarely, due to this, and the fact that he just isn't an extremely happy person. He is also a relatively secretive person, and doesn't often speak about his past to others.

Background: Thanatos' birth place is unknown, due to the fact that he was abducted at about three years old. His abductees were cultists in dark magic, who's goal was to bring a demon spirit into the world of the living. They believed that the end of all life would be perfection, and that they would all move onto the world of the dead. The domain of the demons. For the first three years of his abduction, Thanatos went through many physical and mental tortures, to the point that he was ready to die.

At six, his training began. Now that he had been tested to be able to survive great pain, the cultists were prepared to train Thanatos, so that he would be powerful enough to withhold the demon spirit's power when it was finally transferred into him. His soul would be forever lost, but the body would be powerful enough for a demon. So the cultists gave the young Thanatos a weapon, known as Ganti tis Kolasis, and set monster after monster to fight him. It took him a year before he could finally activate his Ganti tis Kolasis, and it took him three more to be powerful enough to defeat all the monsters set against him.

At ten, Thanatos was nearly prepared for the demon spirit. The cultists came to him, and told him that there was one final ritual that needed to be done before he could be freed. And that, once he was free, they would give him the other item his power could use. The Ta dakrya tis Pterygas. The ritual began, and the cultists turned on Thanatos. They brought him down to the ground, and used blades to cut his torso open. As he died slowly, the cultists summoned the Demon Spirit. Their plan was to implant it into Thanatos' torn open torso, but the Demonic energies swirling through the air caused an instantaneous recovery of Thanatos' injuries, making him completely scar-less.

The Demon Spirit turned on the cultists, in a rage at them for being summoned into the world of the living. The cultists were unable to control it without it being within Thanatos' body, and they were slain. The spirit escaped, leaving Thanatos, mysteriously, alive. Thanatos then saw that he was free, and left to find a true home. Before leaving, he found the Ta dakrya tis Pterygas, and learned the method of usage, and it's cost. At this time, he had no people close to him, so using it had no cost during his training.

By thirteen, Thanatos was roaming the world, unsure of what he could consider his home. One day, he met... "Her." "Her" name will always be a shadow, a dark spot in his memories. Thanatos remained with "her" for nearly two months, and became very attached to "her."

And then the Demon Spirit returned. It was scared. And it was dangerous. It was possibly the most dangerous being in the world. It feared, because it didn't know how to return to it's home, the world of the dead. It suspected though, that if it entered a host, and the host died, it would return. And the only host that would be compatible with it was Thanatos. This is why it spared him those months ago. So it came for him, came to take his body and use it to go home. Thanatos couldn't give up on the happy life he had finally found for himself though. The Demon Spirit became enraged with him, and normally it would have killed him. But, it needed him. It needed him to return to it's home.

So it took "her," and ran. To draw Thanatos into a trap, and take him. If Thanatos wouldn't willingly finish the ritual, the Demon Spirit would trick him into returning to the room, and then force him to do it. Thanatos didn't want to die, he didn't want to lose himself to the Demon Spirit. And yet, he couldn't let it kill "her." If he did, he would never be able to live with himself. His final option was the Ta dakrya tis Pterygas. He used it's power, along with his Ganti tis Kolasis to take "her" back from the Demon Spirit. The Spirit barely escaped, and before it left it revealed it's name. Daimonas. It told Thanatos that he too would bear this name, as a curse. A curse to remind him just what kind of thing he had made enemies with.

And so, Thanatos turned to "her" and he cried. He cried because to save "her", he lost "her". It hurt. So very much, more than the pain that Ta dakrya tis Pterygas was causing. This was the worst of it's costs by far. He left "her", and began a dark, sad journey. On this journey, he collected black feathers to show his mourning, and slowly made a cloak out of it. Presently, this cloak reaches just below his knees.

Likes: He absolutely loves feathers. Black feathers are a mourning symbol for him.
Dislikes: People who rush into things.
Weakness: Very untrusting.
Pet Peeve: Other sad people. He absolutely can't stand being around other sad people. It makes him want to help them, and he really can't say whether he trusts them or not, so this leads him to be very, very annoyed.
Kink: He really enjoys people poking the ends of his ears.

And, although it doesn't directly mention this in the bio, Thanatos suffers from asthma. Being in contact with demonic energies (eg. in situations such as when he's using his demonic sword.), his asthma dissapears.

Another unmentioned thing that I should add is that when using aforesaid Ganti tis Kolasis, Thanatos' physical capabilities rise from normal person/average warriors to skilled warrior/near-master warrior.
