Some words before the character profile. I'll be frank here. He may come off as overpowered or unoriginal. Probably both. So if you want to avoid those, stop here. You're completely free to do so.
I have made every effort that - besides being more powerful, an anthropomorph, and usually (not always) braver than I - Jaye be a mirror of me, the author, in reality (so as to maintain better originality). I do not intentionally alter canon under any circumstances - please point this out to me if you believe I have. My goal, instead, is to build on canon and make a world which angles more towards my vision, as I believe any good author would do.
I would appreciate suggestions for improving, but the suggested improvements have to impress me and not be about unoriginality or godmodding with power. As at the beginning of this disclaimer: You have been warned.

Name: Jaye C. 'Strike' T. Granger/Prower (legal last name Granger, but he answers to his mother's maiden surname, Prower)

Nickname: Strike

Call Sign: J.S.C.T.P.

Age: 15

Species: Born Kitsune, Formerly Human, Presently Kitsune.

Gender: Male

Height: 3'3"

Weight: 107 lbs. (Compensated for tail weight, which is an additional 120 lbs.)

IQ: 135

Marital Status: Single.

DOB: Jan. 27, M.C. 7741. Earth equivalent: Jan. 27, A.D. 1997.

Birth Place: Star Light Zone.

Residence: Countryside surrounding Station Square.

Occupation: Editor of the Station Square Times, one of the city's newspapers. Part-time hero, whenever need arises. Also part-time mad scientist fox.

Social Class: Very introverted, but less so with friends. Despite this, he does all he can to help people, out of a deep instinct.

Economic Class: Moderate, though he saves every Ring he possibly can.

Alignment: Between Lawful Good and Neutral Good. Predominantly the latter.

Top Speed: In the sense of Element-based teleportation, ostensibly faster than Light and/or Darkness combined. But this is difficult to classify.

Special Attacks: A few too many to count. Uses Elements as attacks at times.

Abilities & Aptitude: Very reactive from years of training (earlier became a black belt in Taekwondo), and possesses an as-of yet unmatched prowess with his six swords (though they're not common use). Jaye can speak Latin fluently (this is actually the language of some of his ancestors, though he's not aware of it), but he hasn't found much use for that ability yet. He has an understanding and control of all seventeen Elements but uses their power infrequently (see later sections). Can fly by means of tails. He can change into a feral form. Jaye tends to be unintentionally charismatic, possibly because he tends to help others almost implusively. There are other, more minor abilities which are better fleshed out in RPs.

Hobbies & Talents: The aforementioned blades aren't things he uses just for battle, enjoying experimenting with them. His ability with swords was apparent from when he first found the aforementioned (and to-be mentioned) six swords. Jaye also has much of an interest in writing (by extension cryptography), one of the reasons he came to be editor of a newspaper. He has a keen memory and a good sense of intuition, though he tends to be too timid to speak up about it. There are others, less influential, unlisted here.

Weaknesses: Jaye is unabashedly (or should that be abashedly?) timid. He tends to be shy and doesn't adjust to new situations very well. Partly due to this, he very rarely uses a greater degree of the power he could potentially wield. He is morbidly acrophobic, but only while his paws are on the ground.

Personal facts -

Friends: Far too many friends to list. About twenty of them he considers close enough to call siblings. Among the closer ones are two foxes named James Born and Twilight, as well as another kitsune named Cyril.

Rivals: The human Justine Moscovich, editor of the Station Square Recorder. A hedgehog named Anthony, with whom Jaye disagrees often.

Enemies: Oil tycoon Gerald Green, and any enemies shared by the world in general.

Known relatives: Father, Malcom Granger (human, still on Earth, knows nothing of Mobius, four-star U.S. Air Force general); Younger sister, Katelyn (also formerly human, now burgundy-red puzzling hedge-fox-chidna hybrid); Half-brother, Miles, who is completely oblivious to being related to Jaye and almost completely vice versa (the former being a gold-orange and partly silver kitsune, better known as Tails); Half-sister, Skyy (gold-orange and partly silver kitsune, also oblivious twin sister to Miles, 'created' genetically instead of born); Twin sister, Jayne (also formerly human, silver vixen, does not have stripes on tails or red fur over heart but almost identical to Jaye otherwise); Second cousin Ivan Moscovich; Third cousin Justine Moscovich (aforementioned rival); and Fifth cousin Jeremiah Zak (azure kitsune). Deceased relatives include grandfather Keylow Moscovich/Prower (surname originally Moscovich but was separated from family and came to have surname Prower) and great-grandfather Lucius Moscovich. Possibly desceased include a younger brother Jaye thinks he had but isn't sure (see backstory).

Likes/Favorite activities: Writing and reading. Mental challenges, involving puzzles or strategy, also often take his interest, as does adventure. He enjoys a number more things, but none as much as these.

Dislikes/Least favorite activities: Loud noises and lack of work. Being around new people/things. Deathly afraid of heights when not in the air.

Gourmet of choice: Mashed potatoes with plenty of salt.

Beverages of choice: Iced tea, heavily sugared.

Favorite color(s): Violet, gold, red, and blue.

Personality: Serious and literal (to the point of seeming to not understand a casual saying even though he did [e.g. "What's up?" someone asks. Jaye replies, "The ceiling."]) almost all the time. Ironically, he's also eccentric, practicing many habits few would expect. Past these extremes, in the ways his friends know him better, Jaye has a good heart and would gladly help almost anyone in any occasion, though occasionally he succumbs to darker instincts and purposefully makes life harder for someone (against a pledge he created and took to help all to the best of his ability). He tends to be charismatic largely because of his tendency to help others, but he also tends to avoid new experiences. Again ironically, he does have a thirst for adventure and ends up in new places, meeting new people, and doing new things anyway.

Physical Appearance -

Fur Color: Shining silver, though as of more recently there have been two equidistant stripes of light blue and another two of black on each of his tails and a red patch of fur over his heart.

Skin Color: Lighter than average.

Eye Color: Piercing ice blue, hinging on electric blue. If he gets angry, they get closer to piercing electric blue, which tends to unnerve people even more than ice blue.

Hair Style: If he works to straighten the fur on his head, it'll stay that way for a couple of hours at maximum. Otherwise it just curls all over the place though it never manages to block his ears or eyes.

Nose: Normal, as foxes go.

Ears: Also typical of a vulpine.

Tail: Jaye is a six-tailed kitsune, and his tails have the strength (and apparently enough of minds of their own) to fly, effectively combat with swords, and grip. All six have two metallic blue stripes on their normal relative top and bottom and two black stripes on their normal relative left and right sides.

Other bodily features: Jaye is left-pawed, unlike the majority of humans among whom he once lived and likely the majority of Mobians among whom he now lives.

Attire: Usually, if not at a formal affair, he goes along with the trend that due to fur he doesn't necessarily need to wear clothing, but if the sake of ascetics becomes an issue, he'll wear almost anything, under the strange condition that any two or more articles of clothing will match neither each other nor his fur. When wearing a brace-like device made his his swords, he keeps them as such: two facing forwards and two facing back in a belt, as well as one strapped across each shoulder.

Items & Weapons: Six swords, in positions described above. Each has a different-color sheath. He is the guardian of the Discord Quartz, a set of Core Stones (of which the Chaos Emeralds are other examples).

Vehicle: He can put his paw to almost any type of machinery, but doesn't presently own any vehicle-like machines.

Themesongs: Quartz Quadrant Zone Present (EUR/JAP ver., Sonic CD), Work It Out (Reactive Factory, Sonic R), Knight of the Wind (Sonic and the Black Knight).

Backstory: Jaye and his twin sister Jayne were born on Mobius to an unknown vixen who regularly traveled between that her home planet and Earth, becoming respectively a vixen or human depending on where she was. She brought him back to the care of his father, a rising U.S. Air Force general. She wasn't around much. A younger daughter was born to the two three years later, and possibly a son not long after (Jaye's memory is unclear on this point). When Jaye was six, he found a shining green icosahedronic gemstone. He took to keeping it with him, but only days later was sucked into a deeply violet-colored warp.

When he came to, he was a two-tailed silver-furred kitsune on an unnamed but human-inhabited planet, and was under the guard of a black-ops organization called the Nexus. Once the organization's leader on the planet ascertained that the six-year old anthropomorph was actually a distant relative, he changed the scentence from lifetime imprisonment to being inducted into the organization. His hands were too tied to do much more.

It wasn't a much better fate.

For a whole year, the six-year-old (then seven-year-old) kitsune was in a militaristic boot camp for secret agents. By some miracle, he survived. He worked for the organization for another year, then was free to go. Though only eight physically, he was incalculably strong in body, mind, and spirit. He chose to depart.

The next five years are a blur in Jaye's memory and thusly only a blur here. He has concluded, so far as memory will serve him, that at some point he met a younger brother he thinks he had, that he lost said brother, and that some type of post-traumatic stress has caused his subconscious to blot out the years. He has also concluded that all but his memories are intact from this period.

As the next coherent memory goes, he was walking into Station Square at the age of thirteen. Apparently he kept up with the training he did with the Nexus, as for his age he was still well-past his age in maturity and strength of many kinds. He found an advertisement for a newspaper writer and editor, as the old one was retiring. He took the job and is to this day the writer and editor of the Station Square Times.

Not long after, he met a fox named James Born, who was also human then became an anthropomorph. The two quickly became close friends after a series of adventures. He began a correspondence with a distant cousin, Jeremiah Zak, who lived on a distant planet. Through arranged meetings, he met many friends and took many as adopted siblings. Among these were Twilight and Cyril, mentioned earlier.

Since then, Jaye has taken adventure opprotunities as they come by, been to the ends of most worlds, and been through countless transformations linked to his tendency to be a (somewhat benevolent) mad scientist inclined to experiment with metamorpheses.

...and that's the character profile. Hope you enjoyed it, if you decided to stick with it through to the end. I would give you a virtual cookie, but I'm out of them and have to bake some more.

The best guess he has - and thusly that I have - is that it happened sometime during the five years of memory he subconsciously suppressed.
