Lava Reef Act 1
|
In Generations, if you go into the Collection Room and hold down the Select/Back button, Sonic will drop through a magic hole in the floor and be sent into an golden underground room. This room, while initially empty, can accept six-digit passwords which, when entered correctly, will drop statues of various characters and objects from all across the Sonic series into a gallery which can be viewed at any time. Sonic Team sure did do a good job keeping this a secret. I had no idea about it until I stumbled onto this video, anyway. Anyway, the description in the video has the passcodes for all the statues. To those who knew about this, it's pretty awesome, yes? To those who didn't and are about to try this, have fun~ |

Wow, that's something even I didn't know about. Good find. I'm going to try this once I find the codes without accompanying pictures. I want to see the statues on my own. <3 |

Well, in case people don't want to check the video because they want to see the statues themselves, here's the list of codes for you all

Ahh, spring~

I'm surprised SEGA's not done more concerning the statue room. The legit way of earning codes was to purchase merch and such, but the very fact so few know about the statues in the first place makes it seem like a bit of a waste. |

My! That's a pretty snazzy performance there!
|
No one put this topic up here before? Surprised. It just never occurred to me because I found that secret nice, but not overexciting. I mean, you still have to put in codes that you find on some random person on the web (which I still need to do). At least it is better than nothing. It is a pleasant surprise. |

It's funny that some people didn't know about this. This was posted everywhere including GameFAQs the day after release. I think you should also change the topic name. I thought this had something to do with the emulator and I got my hopes up because I haven't used it in a minute. Thanks for wasting some of my precious time people. Yee. |

Well excuse me for getting through the game myself without having to look at GameFAQs for help. Or even not going on GameFAQs for frak-knows how long.

Did this about 2 months ago, a pleasant little easter egg - even if the codes did take forever to enter

For a jubilee, made out of diamonds.

At first I heard about this, then I googled up on how to go to it. It's annoying to have to enter the codes one by one by using the arrow keys to input each digit. Lazy console ports... |

It really doesn't take all that long to enter the codes if you ask me. Most of the digits are actually pretty close together and there are quite a few zeroes in these codes, even a few instances of double-zeroes which just means skipping right over the number. I entered all the codes in a matter of maybe ten-fifteen minutes, if even that. |
