Several female No Datas walked into the lobby. They were coated in a red color, a dark color. Each one had a fairly large key in their hand. The key was silver, yet it sparkled every so often. Each female No Data spoke out different names, pairing them up as they beckoned for the chosen fighters to follow them.

"Terrador Bellator and Chaos, please follow me." One of them spoke out. As she spoke, she moved towards the center of lobby while the other No Datas would waited in a circle. As she lead Terrador and Chaos to the center of the Lobby, she simply stared at them with her mirror like helmet, reflecting only their appearance as they would look upon her. Soon, a bright light shot down from the very high ceiling. It started to expand and engulf the three of them. The light would be nearly blinding, yet the blindness would only last for a second as they arrived in hallway of some kind. The walls were surging with green and blue digital wires. They were all leading towards one location, an odd looking door. The door was outlined with a glowing light, yet no door nods or handles could be seen. The female No Data walked to the door and inserted the key. The door rippled like water, and proceeded to as she turned the key. A loud unlocking sound was heard, to which the door instantly slid open to reveal their fighting arena...

It was an aquarium. A old aquarium even. This aquarium was somewhere underwater, as well, it was pretty much destroyed. Oddly enough, it was broken up into four different rooms. Each room floated a few feet above the sea-floor. Which of course, means that this arena is filled with water, nothing but water in fact. Yet, these fighters wouldn't have a problem breathing. It wouldn't even feel like they swallowed water or turned into some kind of water breathing creature. There are seaweeds everywhere, coral all around, and algae as well, making some parts of this arena slippery. Even with that, the fighters would barely be touching the floor, as the water would make them float. In short, there isn't much gravity here. At least, not for light weight fighters. Those that normally sink might have a harder time with this place. Still, moving around would prove to be very easy for most.

Each section of the aquarium was labeled, A through D. The section they appeared in was A, the one across from them was D. The two on their left and right were C and B. The distance between the separated sections is ten feet, making a cross like shape between the sections. There is glass and pieces of the aquarium floating about, some sunk to the floor. As well, there are invisible barriers that would prevent them from passing a certain point. Should they try and pass any of the sections the barrier would stop them, even if they tried swimming upward. Within these section-like rooms are crates. However, only two of them have something inside them.

One create could be found in section C(left), while the other can be found in section B(right.) In these two crates is one weapon, which is a harpoon gun, no rope tied to it though. Yet the harpoon is still attached to it, which means they only get one shot. The moon is currently out, and shines its blue-like light upon the sunken aquarium. Yet within the sections there is very little light. For some reason, only backup lights are on. Two panels are present, one in section A, and the other in section D. Both of them could be found in the middle of their section. A few wildlife can be seen, small fish, sea-snails, starfish, and so on.

"Good luck..." The female No Data states, and suddenly the hallway they were in vanished with her in it, leaving Terrador and Chaos alone in this place.

"Terrador, once you reach section D, which is right in front of you, I'll begin the count down, in which you may start your battle." A female robotic tells them as her voice echoed throughout the aquarium. Once Terrador would get to that section, she would start the fight.

"3... 2... 1... Fight"

(You both may start your match, good luck)

Terrador awaited in the center of the lobby. His patience had grown thin. They had said the rounds would begin soon, yet nothing happened. He only growled quietly to himself as he began heading to the training room. Before he even had a chance to take even a step, the female No Datas appeared.

"Finally." He muttered with a satisfied tone as he heard his name called. As he followed her, it wasn't the No Data he fixed his attention on, but rather his opponent to his side. His stern emerald eyes scanned the human as if attempting to see through him. The sudden flash of light blinded him, but found this was short lived much to his confusion. They must have been warped to the arena. The badgermole had sheilded his eyes with his arm to prevent anymore damage to his eyes. His arms dangled freely as he continued to follow the No Data down the hallway. His attention was brought to the walls, finding them rather interesting. Just where was this battle taking place at?

His question was answered as the door opened. What the hybrid gazed upon made his heart sink to the floor. His jaw hung wide open and his eyes widened to the fullest extent. There was nothing but... water. Of all the things it had to be water. It couldn't be inside a volcano or even in the middle of a tornado. Out of all elements, water was his ultimate weakness. Even being near it made his mind feel like a muddy puddle. He was almost considering forfeiting this battle, but his warrior insticnts quickly discarded that mindset. He exhaled deeply stiving to level himself out. He took a couple of very hesitant steps into the arena. He breifly looked to his backside to see the hallway and the female had vanished. He was too cuaght up in his own thoughts to realize.

The robotic voice echoed throught the aquarium requesting the Geomancer to step into the room in front of him. With another sigh, he calmly made his was over. Feeling his bare feet sink into the water cuased him to shiver. His weight felt out of proportion as well, feeling lighter than usual. He dare not look at below him. If Chaos were watching, he may notice the badgermole resembled a tightrope walker who wasn't doing too great mentally wise. After what seemed like countless agonizing steps, the hybrid stepped onto the designated platform. He stepped in the middle and turned to face his foe.

"I wish you the best of luck." He said, shouting slightly so he could be heard. He was trying to sound confident, but with how his mind was working at the moment he might have failed at that. He sighed deeply one last time before assuming his fighting stance.

As Chaos stepped out from the recovery rooms he looked around the lobby. A few participants seemed to be missing already, while several others still remained. He couldn't help but wonder what was going on, but it didn't take long for him to get an answer of sorts from one of the more feminine looking workers. Admittedly it was hard to tell since they all had mirror-like helmets for faces.

"Terrador Bellator and Chaos, please follow me."

Chaos' first reaction was to do a quick scan of the room with his eyes to see who else could have reacted to it. Sure enough he spotted a certain badgermole answer the call.

"I guess that's Terrador then." Chaos thought to himself as he made his way over to the pair, casually striding along and not seeming to care much at all to anyone who may be watching him. Once in the center the three just stood there, a puzzled expression being reflected back at the wanderer as he stared into the droid's 'face'.

"So when exactly are w-"

Before he could finish he was cut off by a bright light enveloping the trio, his arms quickly shooting up both as a makeshift defensive maneuver against a possible attack and to shield his eyes from the intense light. After a few moments of nothing happening he lowered them, his vision returning to reveal they were now somewhere different. Not completely unrelated to the place they had just been, but still a place he hadn't been yet.

"You could at least warn us when you pull something like that..." Chaos mumbled as he rubbed his eyes a few times, shaking his head to regain his senses and following behind her once more. He waited silently as the droid pulled out what was some sort of key, the door rippling as it opened and revealing their arena, which seemed to ripple strangely on the other end of the door... almost as if it were on the other side of a wall made of water. A quick glance to his side revealed a Terrador that was looking less than pleased with this revelation. It didn't take an expert on body language to figure that out. With a small smirk and a chuckle he kept to himself Chaos took the first few steps beyond the door, moving into the arena beyond...

----------

He soon came to realise why the arena had the appearance of water once he stepped through -- it was full of water. His hair raised on end slightly and swayed from side to side, not too differently from the small patch of seaweed he spotted to his right. Most of his clothing moved around slightly in the aquatic environment as he waited, feet planted firmly on the ground for now despite the seemingly natural urge his body was having to float around. Glancing to his left again he found that Terrador had followed, though he seemed too pre-occupied to even get into a battle stance.

"Good luck..."

As Chaos turned back to see the droid those words had come from, he barely had enough time to catch the corridor they were in disappear from existence. The two were now trapped underwater. Normally this would be a problem for air-breathers like the two of them... but he had caught onto the fact they could breathe pretty much as soon as they entered. The weight the water had was there as he moved his arm around and he saw the bubbles exit his nostrils and mouth as he breathed so there was no doubt the water was there, but how this was possible was beyond him.

"I probably shouldn't dwell on this too much. I guess I've seen weirder in my travels." he pondered as he continued looking around, keeping an ear open for further instructions. Sure enough they came, his opponent being told to move over to area D which was right across from where they were standing. Looking around their current room Chaos soon spotted the letter 'A' being scattered around, clearly being another area. Would that mean there's a 'B' and 'C' too? He couldn't really tell from where he was at the moment. As he waited for Terrador to get to his starting position he took a few moments to gather his thoughts on the current situation.

"Right... so we're underwater. That pretty much rules out two of my attacks from the get go... or at least I assume it does. How am I supposed to know? I never fight underwater!" A small sigh slipped out, his eyes following the few larger than usual bubbles that came out with it. "I'm not exactly the greatest swimmer for that matter... I can just tell getting around here is going to be a pain in the ass. I guess I'll just pretend I'm playing Blitzball. Except minus the nets. And the teams. And the Blitzball. And Tidus' underwater prowess... yeah... piece of cake."

"I wish you the best of luck."

Terrador's words snapped Chaos out of the world in his head, glancing across the large rift between the rooms. Standing up a little straighter he cupped his left hand over his mouth and held his right out downwards as he waited for something to appear, his CWS depositing his main weapon into his hand in the blink of an eye.

"Uh, yeah! You too!" he replied back over the gap, the water distorting his voice slightly. He gripped the end of the chainscythe as soon as he lowered his left hand again, hoping that it wouldn't screw up underwater. His little sparring session with Fenroar had already proven that electrical jolts would fry the inner-mechanics and he hadn't tested it for use in aquatic environments either. Honestly it wasn't something he thought he would ever come across. After taking a single breath he gave it a tug, the usual sparks that came from the joints as it all snapped into place replaced by bubbles. So far, so good. Squeezing the throttle on the handle ever so slightly the teeth revved as usual, disturbing the water and sending up several bubbles as it did before coming to a stop as the lever was relieved. Though he didn't show it, on the inside Chaos was relieved that it was still working.

"3... 2... 1... Fight!"

"Well no point in just standing here! I'll make the first move!" As the words left Chaos' mouth he took a step forward as if he was about to run... however he found that his speed was less than ideal in this arena. As he had thought, the water surrounding them made even the most basic movements awkward. After a few more steps his body began floating a little, making it difficult to even keep himself grounded. It took a little while, but he soon found himself as the edge of his current area, sighing a little as he looked out over the part of the sea floor he could see at the intersection between the rooms. To his left and right he noticed two more rooms, each labelled 'C' and 'B' respectively. There didn't seem to be much to them, just some aquatic wildlife that had made their way in and some unassuming crates. Chaos didn't give them too much thought -- he was too busy trying to figure out how he was going to fight in a place like this.

"Guess the first step is to get into the same room as Terrador... I'll figure out what to do from there. Doubt I'll get from here to there easily so..."

Leaning towards the edge he felt his feet slip off the side, moving them down against the damaged floor. With his sights set on area B he kicked off it with all his strength and propelled himself forward, covering a little over half of the trip with that alone before kicking with his feet. Having to hold onto his weapon made using his arms to swim impossible, but all things considered that probably wouldn't have helped much. Though not the most nimble in the water, he certainly wasn't floundering around as much as he thought he would be, much to his relief. Reaching out with his chainscythe he hooked onto the edge of the room once it was within reach, pulling himself in and up with it.

"I can just tell this is going to take more adjusting to than I'd care for..." Chaos muttered as he stood up, looking around his new area. Again the crate caught his eye, but assuming it was nothing he turned back to the open space between the arenas, the area Terrador was in now to his right.

"I'll give it a few moments and see what he does... and maybe figure out a better way to get around. Stupid water. Tidus and Wakka make it look so easy..."

Terrador remained planted in his spot. It was difficult enough even manuvering here. Not to mention all this water was still getting to his head. It was never a fear of drowning, more like an extreme dislike for how badly it hindered his powers. He glanced around, noticing no earth was available anyways. He seemed to be breathing just fine as well. This fight would need to rely strictly on his hand-to-hand combat which wasn't a problem at all. He need to snap out of his aquaphobia and fast. He would rather deal with some uncomfortability than have his spiritual force drained from his being. The only effects of this areana was he felt more floaty than usual. He was moderately heavy for an anthromorph, so it was something he could easily adapt to... hopefully.

He watched the human summon his weapon. Surpised filled the hybrid's eyes as he watched the chainscythe roar into action. He raised an eyebrow at both the uncanny weapon itself and the fact something mechanical was operating properly underwater. His head drifted to the left as saw Chaos had made his leap. Thankfully, neither had made a move to attack. Terrador had not thought out his battle strategy yet. Typically this did not take long. He would analyze his foe's movements, read their stance, watch the look in their eye, determine whether to attack first or not or see if they shouldn't be underestimated. All he saw from his fellow combatant was a fancy weapon and a leap.

The Geomancer sighed deeply. He reached his left hand behind his shoulder and firmly grasped the mighty Baculum Petra. This was always a good subsitute for lack of earth. With a quick pull, his arm was fully extended upward as he grasped the bottom of his staff. The weapon was definately lighter. He was hoping that would not hinder him at all. He allowed it to drop forward, where he grasped it with his other hand. A glowing green aura surfaced from the staff as he did so. He glanced at Chaos, who appeared to be waiting for the badgermole to make the first strike. Terrador shrugged. Normally, he was a defensive fighter. But, with how things have played out so far, this was no normal fight. With another sigh, he took a couple slow steps towards the edge. The way he did so already suggested he was getting accustomed to the low gravity. His bare feet dangled off the edge and he bent his knees, ready to luanch himself straight at Chaos, He tranfered a majority of his strength into his legs, than shot forward like a missle (or a torpedo in this case.) The water around him was distorted from his velocity. He had difficulty raising his weapon into the air and he was closing in fast. His eyes widened as he realized he had put too much force into this leap. He retreated his offensive attack and instead held his staff in a horizontal, defensive position. He was hoping to either ram him and cuase possible damage or perhaps deflect an attack of his.
