She sighs an empty sigh, and looks at the Assignment Manager. The guy was telling Kanata about the new Assignment her and another detective were assigned. Basically, a guy was murdered by some hoodlums and it had happened mysteriously a few nights ago. No one had found out till now, and Kanata and the other detective had to find out what exact hoodlums did it, basically, who was involved, why it happened, what date and time it happened, all that mumbojumbo. ''Alrighty, I'm up for it,'' Kanata says, getting up off the chair and walks in the middle of the room, paws on her hips. ''Who exactly is helping me?'' The assignment manager was about to say who, until the other detective had walked in. (Which is you. Feel free to make your intro as long as you like.:) Sorry this isn't very detailed but I tried my best. It'll get more interesting as time goes on. You'll see.)

"I was helping Huntress out this morning and got a little sidetracked. But I'm here and ready to help." With the last spoken sentence, she put on a reliable, confident smile. Cracking her knuckles, she placed her fists on her hips and stood tall and proud. The Assignment Manager had called her up for a favor; normally, she pursued her own work, being more or less a bounty hunter of sorts, but when the police called up on her, she would never turn down the chance to help. He had already debriefed her on the main gist of the case before, but had yet to introduce her to her partner for this little mission. Taking notice of Kanata, Mercy nodded. "I'm assuming you're my helper today?"

She nods a slight nod. ''Indeed,'' she says. ''Delighted to meet you. I'm Kanata,'' she says and walks over to Mercy, putting her paw out, a gesture for Mercy to shake it. ''We can get going as soon as you're ready.'' She smiles.
