Brandon sighed. "Alright, listen...I'm still sorry for what just happened," he said as he got himself a glass of water. Priscilla to got upstairs so she wouldn't have to see her own brother lecture her about how rude she is to Lidiya, just because she didn't like new-comers. Brandon leaned against the counter and looked down. His eyes began to turn blue again. |

Lidya nodded,"It's alright Brandon...But I have to ask..", Lidiya paused for a moment before continuing. She didn't fully understand the extant of this quarrel between Brandon and Deimos. She felt a little uncomfortable about getting ready to ask Brandon about it because it wasn't any of her business, but since she was nearly smashed by rubble from the ceiling back at the lounge caused by Deimos, she felt she should know a little bit of something. "Why is Deimos out to get you?" she asked. "B-but you don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable..", she added quickly after. |

"Unauthorized resignation..." Brandon said. "I was in a cult called Armageddon with him a very long time ago. I first thought it was something that benefited the Sobrian Military, but instead, it was a cult that killed innocent lives. I ended up quitting at age eight. About three weeks before I moved to this planet. Since I decided to quit without authorization of the leader himself and not having a successful discharge from the cult, they are out to kill me. Deimos is the one that's most dedicated to the job because me and him got into a fight that he still wishes to finish," Brandon explained. He scratched his own chest. Priscilla came downstairs and was about to leave the front door. "No, I do not want you out there when HE is..." Brandon said. "Brandy, I'm just going to Scorch's. Besides, I can defend myself quite easily..." she said. Brandon grumbled. "Fine, if it's your rump I have to save, you will expect an angry wolf for a month..." he said. Priscilla looked at Lidiya, grinned, and walked out. |

"Wow, that is something..." Lidiya said with wide eyes. She noticed Priscilla's grin and cut her an aggravated look. Lidiya figured the wolf wasn't particularly happy about her being there, or around Brandon for some reason. "I get the feeling your sister isn't to enthused about me being here..." she told Brandon with a dry heckle. |

Brandon let out a large sigh. "She's a priss, which gives away the fact that I nicknamed her that. She is not fond of you because she hates newcomers. She hated when I was angry at her boyfriend, but it's okay for her to be a hypocrite about it," Brandon said. He growled a bit. He looked at the clock. "I think we should head to bed. Priscilla would probably be at Scorch's for the night..." Brandon said as he sat on his couch. He glared at the blank television screen. |

Lidiya chuckled at the name Priss. She thought she might use it to aggravate Priscilla since she didn't like her, but then again whats the use of making the already tense situation between the two worse. Lidiya walked in front of the couch and sat with her chin on her knees and her arms wrapped around them. She sighed with stress and an uncomfortable feeling. She looked at Brandon and noticed that he was still upset about what happened tonight. "It'll be alright, Brandon. You'll see." she assured him. Of course she could just be lying to herself though. |

Lidiya nodded, she understood how Brandon felt. But she began to think about what his sister said earlier about Deimos coming every time something good happens to him. So if Lidiya was that good thing, then she felt she was what's causing a bad thing."I'm sorry..." she whispered. |

"You shouldn't be sorry for you haven't done anything. Deimos does it himself. He thinks it's funny to ruin things for me. He loves to play this sick and twisted game with me..." Brandon said. He glared at Lidiya. It wasn't an angry look, but a look that would help him get his message across. "I'm going to make sure he will never play this game again..." He said as he looked back at the television and let go of his knees. "Well, we should be heading to bed...well, you should. I'm going to keep a look-out for the night," Brandon said. He spawned his frost blade. His eyes turned to a black and red again. |

"I really don't care where you sleep. There's a guest bedroom right next to my room upstairs," he said. He said it with a much quieter voice. He put his feet on the ground and a small blade started to appear out of his hand. It was made out of ice. Ice from the moisture of the air. He hoped things would get better for them and hope to anyone that was "upstairs" that this would not end a relationship that was not really a relationship yet for they never even finished their date. He began to think about that. Can't call her my girlfriend until I actually do get to spend time to her, he thought as he frowned. |

"Oh, ok." Lidiya nodded, and picked up her sandals from behind the couch. "Goodnight, Brandon." she said as she walked to the stairs. Lidiya turned and looked at Brandon before walking up the stairs to the guest room. She was little uncomfortable about being in someone else's house she barely knew, but, she'd have to make herself comfy and forget about how the whole night ended. As soon as she closed he door she jumped straight in the bed and hid herself under the covers. Not able to go straight to sleep she stared into space deep in thought. |

Brandon looked down at the light grey carpet floor and sighed. He knew that she was already in bed so he began to talk to himself. "My sis is right, every time something great happens to me, my brother has to ruin it. If I don't kill him...I will probably never be happy again..." he said softly as he played with his weapon. A tear came out of his eye. He looked around to see if Lidiya was still up. He knew his sister was gone. "I don't even remember the last time I actually laughed," he whispered to himself. |

"I'm such an idiot..." Lidiya complained on the phone to her friends. They clearly had her on speaker because she could hear an echo in the phone and when both her friends spoke she could her then both as if she was there. "No you're not, how were you suppose to know some psyco was gonna come give the place a new skylight?" Angel commented loudly. "She's right! You were just at the wrong place at the wrong time." Amillia added. "It was Brandon's brother..." Lidiya whispered."Brandon has a brother?!!" Amillia and Angel shouted simultaneously, Lidiya had to pull the phone away from how loud they were."This could get dangerous Lidy, do you want us to come get you?" Amillia asked worriedly. Lidiya didn't want to risk the girls coming here and Deimos showing up out of nowhere again. "No, I can handle it..." she quickly hung up before they asked more questions, age felt she said to much already. They were trying to call her back but she ignored it and hid her face in her pillow. "Goodnight guys." she whispered |

Brandon sat there and look straight at the darker-colored walls. "It's more my fault than anything. I should never make a commitment that I would not be able to keep..." he whispered to himself. He heard faint footsteps. He gripped his dagger tightly and slowly loosening his grip as he already knew that Deimos would just crash in instead of knocking or using the door. Deimos loved to surprise people. He heard a knock. "It's definitely not Priss," he said as got up with his knife still in his grip and turned the knob. As soon as the knob was completely turned, Brandon didn't even have to open the door. The door was already opened for him because his guest just barged in. He saw a very anxious and nervous Scorch. "What happened, Ben?" Brandon asked. It was more of a demand than asking Scorch. "Why is it that bad things happen to me when something great happens?" Scorch asked himself. "Heh, you tell me. NOW WHAT HAPPENED?" Brandon asked as he was starting to panic. He knew that Priscilla must have gotten into some trouble. "A guerrilla tactic just happened to me. First minute me and Priss were at Voodoo because I was closing it down and the next minute, the janitor gets knocked out and so was I. Priss was outside while this happened. I woke up and saw that Priss was gone. I called the GP and they are now searching for her," Scorch said. "You idiot, they're going to slow things down! Now we have more than just Deimos on our hands!" Brandon yelled. "Wait, Deimos? She never told me anything that just happened!" Scorch said. "Maybe because she thought I would handle it," Brandon said. "Well, I'm going to look for her. I'm not demanding you, but it would be best if you would stay here until tomorrow. Go to sleep or something. I'm all hyped up so I'll go look for her. This is all a trap so you can go to her..." Scorch said. "Wow...you're right. So blind squirrels do find acorns," Brandon said as he sat back down. "It's not a first. I just know more common sense than you," Scorch said as he shut the door. Brandon breathed slowly. He went upstairs. As soon as he got to the top step, he froze. He was lost in thought. He went into his room and sat down. How would he kill Deimos if what he cares about is being held captive by Deimos? Brandon spotted his acoustic. He wanted to play, but he did not want to wake Lidiya up. He decided to take the acoustic to his basement where he would do any sort of activity. He knew some medicine so he would work on it there, he would record there, and he had a room there he would hold his family tree. He looked around and thought he would try something new. Maybe a song he has never done. He doesn't read notes. He can play a song just by hearing it. He would read notes, but he does better without them. He began to think of what he was going to play. Maybe a song from a band he hasn't listened to in a while? "Hehe, 'It's Been A While,'" he punned. |
