The black cheek/chest feathers wrap around all the way to the back of his head. He wears band-aids on his beak just as a quirky sense of fashion.. maybe could use that for holiday pics or awareness pics (green/red for holidays -- pink for breast cancer awareness n so on) and his shoes are little steam jets that heat the air for airborne mobility.. seems redundant for a bird to have steam rocket shoes but that's the fun of it. Name(s): Kam Age: 19 Sex: M Height: 3'6" Weight: 77lbs Species: Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) Alignment: Neutral EN Voice: Wilmer Valderrama JP Voice: (undecided) Theme Songs Rider of the Sky - Ace (I don't know why but I just love that 80's midi touch to go with the beat, and being a bird with flair, I guess it works out.) Louder (Dubstep) - DJ Fresh & Flux Pavilion [link] (Mainly for the beat but it does fit fairly well overall) Anti-Venom - U.S.S. Personality: Confident and Quirky, Kam is a very boisterous persona that is typically more "life of the party" than he is "buzzkill" He's outgoing and completely willing to be flashy to "one-up" anyone, anywhere, in any way. Besides, you have to be the most impressive to attract mates.. shouldn't be a problem there. xD When idle and/or antsy he has a subconscious tendency to start lightly rocking side to side while extending his head out slightly in a repeated fashion as if he were listening to music and lightly getting into the groove. Tends to move with the slightest bit of a rhythmic pep in his step. I'M ON FIYAH! Family: "Tch.. What're they good for?" (rebeled and fled the roost to live a free life but has a typical family out there somewhere) Transport: Flying, aided by redundant jet shoes when needed Biography: Rebelious and a handful from a young age, Kam took the first opportunity he could to flee the roost and become the bottle of awesome he knew he could be. Taking time out of his day to party, party... party some more, and breakdance, he learned quickly that being able to throw a few punches and kicks could come in handy.. be it in some back alley street fight with money on the line or to just add another thing to his list of ways to impress. He gained a reputation as a flair fighter and used his winnings to create a set of rocket shoes. Others thought this was a daft choice considering that he could already fly, but their usefulness became apparent very quickly as they were demonstrated in fights, breakdancing, and roasting some damn fine marshmallows of course. Moves/Combat Style: Fights fast, ducking in and out of melee range using his short area burst that his jet shoes provide and his flight ability, focusing mainly on quick kicks and trips with the occasional jet aided pick up and toss down. Combines an ability to fight quickly and airborne with a bit of a breakdancing flair, jumping around, spinning into kicks and trips or tilt o whirl head scissors, that kind of fun stuff. He does his best to look flashy in everything else, why not be flashingly irritating with an unpredictable in and out fighting style. He uses his quickness to keep opponents defensive and off balance, and if they're not careful they can get a face full of jet shoe burst. When airborne can use jet shoes to change direction nearly at will, adding flexibility and manuverability that most naturally unaided flying characters don't have... the shoes have their uses even if they are redundant! Broil - If ever catching an opponent while down, can stomp down and lightly ignite his shoes steam jets to burn a downed foe in the chest/back or face/head and can be done with one or both feet. Shoulder Check - To try and keep an opponent back or to close distance, when needed, ignites his jets to propel him forward like a bird missile, ramming them with his shoulder. Not too damaging an attack but is a likely stagger. Slingshot - When given the opening, Kam will grab an opponents arms, jump and forcefully dropkick an opponent in the chest, igniting his jets to blast them back, using the momentum to backflip or do some sort of fancy maneuver to land on his feet, recover, and charge his way back in to catch them on the rebound if desired. A Face Fulla.. - When giving the opening, does a front flip up close to the enemy, landing a handstand at their feet with him facing away, does a similar rocketed dropkick to their chin to send them skyward, recovers, jets up after them, grabs and jet dropkicks them (typically in the chest/back) again as he passes them to shoot them back down into the ground, taking care to drop quickly and land on their head/face, finishing the move with a simple small hop off their head. Can follow the attack up by broiling the enemy. Skills: - Breakdance Fighting! - Short Area Burst to duck in and out of combat Strengths: - Elite Quickness and an ability to keep opponents off balance and to control tempo while also minimizing damage through evasion. - Flexible fighting style that combines aggressiveness with good deflection, passive aggressiveness, and flair. - Flight Weaknesses: - Below average durability, if an enemy can neutralize his speed or catch him out of position, the fight won't likely last long, as his species' build is prone to being flimsy to promote flexibility in flight. He isn't built to take much of a pounding at all. - Damage output, aside from a few solid compound attacks, while Kams attacks are launched in a flashy barrage, he isn't going to be winning fights based off of his strength, he has to wear an opponent down over time unless he is nailing a bunch of strong combos and just completely having his way. He makes up a bit for not hitting hard by hitting very often but low end damage is never what is desirable.
