Walked all the way back to his apartment, to find his lazy, good for nothing cousin there. As always, when his cousin stayed over, the place was a mess. Alister ignored it, for this once.

There was no school today, so she figured she'd just stay inside all day. She sighs, unlocks her door and walks out of her bedroom and down to the kitchen, seeing her mom making breakfast and her dad was gone, probably to work already.

Margaret had eaten her breakfast, and her dad wasn't home yet. Good. He usually got home around this time though, she wondered why he wasn't home yet. She just shrugged, thinking he had to work overtime, and sits on the couch, turning on the TV. She flicks through the channels until she finds a soap opera she regularly keeps up with.

Alister got a shower in and started off for work. He really didn't feel like going. His boss was an ass and he had to work longer than he had to.
