so, I'm on a random forum, talking with some friends, and suddenly I see them post a topic about toonami on adult swim. I switch on the TV and sure enough, DBZ was on gohan vs cell the final fight... afterwards I heard tom, reviewing mass effect 3.... I... I think i'm happy again... I THINK I'M HAPPY. your thoughts? |

Toonami shouldn't be on adult swim,It Should Have Its Own Seperate Days and toonami was cancelled years ago

Don't get your hopes up of it staying, people. I've been reading around the 'net - apparently, this is just some April Fools joke and it'll only be around for April Fools day - to, well, get people's hopes up. We'll see if it's still around tomorrow though, but I doubt it. |

*sighs* First of all, cheekaloco, videos are not allowed in sigs. Second, if anyone ever decides to sue CN, do it for a logical reason, not because they played a harmless April Fools joke. Ugh, some people are acting like this joke means the end of the world. It's truly pathetic.

Luckily most people are responding to this joke in good faith, ad have conducted themselves as if this was what it was: an excuse to give 90s babies reasons to fangasm, instead of as proof they're about to start living up to some obligation they have to a bunch of 20 year olds. ... Man, I'm so tired. Stayed up until Gigantor came on at 5-something, and I only went to sleep because I realized the show's staging and editing is pretty damn horrible and I kept getting mad; found it unwatchable on that basis. But good on Adult Swim for doing this nonetheless. Did my heart good to see Outlaw Star, Trigun, and Yu Yu Hakusho on TV again, and all in their unedited glory. <3 |

true, maybe this wasn't just an april fools joke, but to see how well toonami would be watched without notifying pretty much anyone. This went completely unnoticed by me until someone on a different forum told the rest of the forum about it. |

I hate myself for missing it, but I gotta say it was a damn good joke. They know how badly we want Toonami to return and what better way to troll us than to trick us into believing that it might be coming back. How deliciously evil.

God, I loved Toonami back in the Day, Ever since 1997 <3. I miss alot of good Shows that were on there, up until they canceled it. I heard that CN was against Anime now or something I am VERY shocked to hear that DBZ was on. |

I don't watch Cartoon Network, so I didn't watch this or know about this. But this is a pretty funny joke. Lotsa people wanted Toonami back and what better way to do an April Fools Day joke than tricking us to make us think it's coming back. Don't be mad at Cartoon Network. They just wanted to do something for April Fools day. Its just a joke, it's not the end of the world. They'll decide when they permanently want it to come back. |
