Lemme ask on the double.
- What are your limits when it comes allowing another member's alternative approach using causally your character?

And no, I know all legitimate reasons why you shouldn't.
- Send another member's characters into death.
- Harm another character by any sort of physical means without allowance.
- Create an unthinkable situation. This comes in many ways as fair play.

But what about characters who have no intentions, rather then simple movement. This doesn't count whereas another member's character wishes to tarry on alone. (But by any usual means, why? After all it's an RP. We're meant to create an adventure with another. This again doesn't entirely have to include tournament fights, as surely there's the exception.)

Just wanna get to know many member's reactions to this.
I'm having a few already were I'm sufficient to say. I allow character control to the extent to make an RP flow. This doesn't bode in all favors. And this is probably one of the reasons why some people may stray from the oblivious path writing extensive posts.

Not entirely what I'm heading at, but hopefully you'll get my point.
Anyone who have a saying around this?

well, in my case when I RP with Nero on the Aaron and Gena Series, I let him decide what my character looks like, or what happens around him. I know this may not sound like the subject you brought up, but i feel that it somewhat belongs here.

as for the actual subject, I guess as long as you and your fellow Rp'ers have an agreement, then i guess it's fine.

This doesn't entirely concern RP's such as Private one's. Usually only involving two members, maybe three.
I'm more interested to hear how would a member react to casual movement, as long it only involves pushing things forward in an possible advanced RP.

You can't go around asking for everyone's permission now can you?

well it all depends dude. There's many factors to this, and then there's the "not all RP'ers are alike" condundrum. I guess if it's all for progressing the story then i guess it's alright. However, to many of the mods here, it's considered godmodding.

So all in all, in order to please them, then you'll have to ask. I know it sounds outlandish, i know it sounds so out-of-place and out of element, but that's the way i see it.

I object to your claims
If it's a bunch of NPCs, like a small army of Eggman's robots for example, than I'll let the RPers do what they want, as long as that doesn't include destroying them all in one fell swoop.

But for a player's major character...yeah...not a good idea to control a character that ain't yours. Because, after all, it. Isn't. Your. Character.

Well I really don't mind if people control my character for simple things. If we all decide to do go somewhere, I don't mind. It saves me a line in my next post.

The same goes for NPC, like Blaire said. Unleash its stated that they cannot be control, I guess there no problem. But once again it depends on how far people people control them.

My bottom line is if someone is controlling your character for the sake of moving the story along and only does it for a simple action or command, I don't mind.

But if they are only doing it to make thing fall in there favor or control the character in a significant way, that's a no-no.

My usual limitation is: "Whatever is reasonable to assume, given what you already know." I mean, you can assume my character's walking with yours if they're holding a conversation, or that you could drag my character along if you were holding onto him for some reason, but do not explicitly say he knowingly commits an act that would endanger himself. That's kinda where I draw the line.
Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.
