New Cartoon Network or Old Cartoon Network?; which one do you prefer

Old Cartoon Network by a landslide. Kids today get to watch nothing but garbage, and it's not just solely CN, but Disney and Nick as well. CN is probably the lesser of the two evils though.

Cartoon Network just doesn't have anything truly that good to watch nowadays. I've been willing to tune into pilots/first episodes of some of their shows, but most of them don't tickle my fancy. I sometimes watch Adventure Time, but that's really as much as I watch. (And the rare cartoon cartoon when its on)

I found CN to be at a terrible decay when it attempted to do its whole real stuff. That was when things like Total Drama Island and its other teenage animated drama were on (reality tv qualms aside), Re-animated -- which while a nice premise was executed HORRIBLY, then there were things like destroy build destroy, dude what would happen, and a couple of teenage drama attempts.

Then there's the fact they don't have Toonami. They have at least done an action saturday I think, but most of the anime they show is generic collectible toy/card game shows no-a-days. There's no variety is mainly what I'm getting at... There's no mecha, there's no harem, there's just Pokemon, Redakai (I think it's called), Beyblades, Bakugan (i think). Most of the nice stuff is on Adult Swim.

Then there's the shows they show today, and out of their list, I really only like a few. As already said, Adventure Time is something I'm willing to watch, Ben 10 (the kid one, I think the new one's premise is bleh), and I really don't watch either a whole lot. Thundercats 2011 was nice, and Looney Toons show is a bit meh. I have watched a couple episodes of Looney Toons, but I don't agree with some of the differences in characters.
I find Regular Show to be annoying and frustrating to watch, I find the concept of Almost Naked Animals facepalm-worthy, sidekicks seemed like a god awful show, and Gumball just doesn't entertain me at all. There were also some other shows that made me cringe, like Super Secret Mountain Fort Awesome and some show that I heard the last 5 minutes of while waiting for adult swim to come on and all I heard was a butchering of "domo arigato, their leader for their secret agency or something" and this creepy drawing style.
Level Up is just an insult to gaming. CN has wonderful concepts for movies, but they just can't do it right. The show is stereotypical and so goofy/farfetched. Yes, it's a kids channel, there's going to be goofy stuff, but I can't quite understand why everything today has to be extremely goofy/nonsensical. None of the real life shows seem to attempt anything serious, from the previews I've seen of them. They all take serious issues, or everyday life and laugh it up. Why can't kids have some seriousness in their shows? >_>

The new CN will probably never be like old CN, but there are still some shows that are fun to watch. It's not the best channel, but it's not the worst like some of the other kids channels out there have become.

Anywho, I thought it would be a good idea to look up the whole Cartoon Planet return for any of you who remember the awesomeness of that show.

For a jubilee, made out of diamonds.
I say CN from 2004-2007. Because of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

Christmas is back again

Cartoon's from what I've seen. (Note this is several years ago since I ever glimpsed at this channel.) Have constantly turned worse. At least before they used to have decent stuff, and I was overly much younger back then.
Nowadays, I'd stay clear from CN, mostly because it doesn't interest me, or in all honesty, the cartoon's that's been made are a constant boor.

I miss the old times.
Working on banner, but if your looking to have some time off. Come, visit my channel on youtube.

I really do like when this kind of Cartoon Network topic get's brought up every so often.

To be honest, I would never want my children to view the kind of entertainment geared towards kids today.
You know this kind of stupidity and punkry acted out by these people on TV is going to continue for years to come.

Mind you, this is coming from a person who hasn't watched television in over eight months.
And I'm quite proud of it.

EDIT: I like how I use the word punk without it being edited by some really bad replacement.
What is this site?
Casino on TBS?
Give me a break.
