Remember the good ol' days when you watched Cartoon Network and it wasn't filled with (this is just my opinion) stupid idiotic new shows. So which do you prefer, the old Cartoon Network or the new one.

God I lived for Cartoon Network, late night or day time.
The fact that it was cartoons all day was what I liked.
Even the early Adult Swim was worth it with Sealab 2021 and the Brak Show.

The bumps were amazing with the multi-color depending on the time of day, great for Cartoon Network blocks like Toon Heads and that one that appeared on Sunday nights at 8:30PM The Tex Avery Show.
The only way I could ever watch Droopy Dog cartoons.
Dexter's Laboratory will always be my favorite.
Though, Boomerang will never be anything like how Cartoon Network was...it is the only thing we have left.

I've tried watching what is CN now and have tried and tried but I could never do it.
Kids and/or teenagers today really don't know good entertainment.
CN is currently one of the biggest embarrassments on TV.

Agreed. Ya know one of my favorite cartoons to watch on CN was Code Name: Kids Next Door. God I loved that show so much, that was the best cartoon I've ever saw. Now you got real life shows and new cartoons which made no sense to me. I agree kids/teenagers just don't know good entertainment anymore.

Don't tell me what I can or can't do!

Nowadays, Cartoon Network shows either don't interest me, or are just not very good. I remember Grim Adventures, Johnny Bravo, Courage, Dexter's, Ed Edd'n Eddy (My favorite!), etc. So many great shows, but nowadays there's just something missing in them. I do admit though, I love Foster's and Chowder. ^^

I honestly prefer the Old Cartoon Network. I miss Grim Adventure of Billy and Mandy, Dexter's Lab, Johhny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, so many others. I used to watch Cartoon Network so much. Now I don't even watch it anymore. I don't even watch Disney Channel anymore. I only watch Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Boomerang and Nicktoons.

Other than those few channels I really don't watch much TV anymore, to be honest. And I prefer the old cartoon network. The new one is garbage, like what happened to the cartoons? It's called cartoon network for a reason. Not real life TV network.

We all make choices. But in the end, our choices make us
I honestly can't see what's so bad about Cartoon Network nowadays. And this is coming from someone who grew up with Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, and all that good stuff.

CN being one of the biggest embarrassments on TV? Have you guys even seen what happened to Disney channel? What about Nick? All they show now is stupid teen girl sitcoms and never ending reruns of SpongeBob.

Ill sit here and defend CN because they do have some good shows and especially for the fact that they're bringing back Cartoon Planet starting this Friday.

I loved the Old Cartoon Network but the "New" Cartoon Network isn't as bad as everyone says it is. :\

@Breezy Shrug. I prefer Nickelodeon over Disney or Cartoon Network, but... that's just my opinion. I know you think differently and I respect that. I really don't watch Cartoon Network anymore, though. So uh yeah. I only remember the amazing world of Gumball, and a few others. But most I saw on there were real life shows.

Like it's Cartoon network..not real life network. But I might be wrong since I haven't watched anything on the channel in months.

They haven't been showing the real life shows on CN in a while. They have been getting very scarce, which is a good thing.

My! That's a pretty snazzy performance there!
I suppose it all depends on your day and age of when you grew up at.

LIFE STORY:
I remember a lot of times when I was around 4 or 5 (around 1996), I got up at about 4 in the morning. Not to make chocolate pudding, but to watch the shows that were on before I went to school later on in the morning. Freakazoid, Animaniacs, Pinkey and the Brain because they showed re-runs of those shows. But what I also enjoyed was the actual Cartoon Network shows, (because those shows were originally on Fox and WB): Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Ed, Edd, N' Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Courage, and many more, were part of ones that I grew up with. Personally I watched more Nick in the 90's when I was a kid, but I still watched Cartoon Network from time to time. Now to stay if it is better than the "New CN"? To me, of course it is, because to me that sense of entertainment and nostalgia brought joy to me. However, if I look at an open mind to it, there is actually a few shows that I actually switch to if it is on, like Regular Show, which is not half bad. And my friend, who is 19 like me, likes Adventure Time (I despise it). There has been a basterdizing of kids shows recently, yes, but it all appeals to a younger audience as well. So to put forth note, the New CN is okay, but it will always be the old Cartoon Network that will receive my special attention. I could say the same for other networks, but that is for another place and time.

I'll say this too. Really I prefer the old CN by a long shot, but they do have some really good shows too. (Adventure Time, Ben 10, and the newer Ben 10, which was sort of meh but still pretty good.) But a lot of their shows are just...no. Don't get me started on Regular Show, it's just stupid in all senses of the word. Level Up was dumb too, and so is The Somethingorother of Gumball.

A few good shows, I'll admit it. But really nothing compared to the good ol' days. [/angry nostalgia bias]

Yes. Zak. I understand. It's really not all that bad but the shows you listed, with the newer CN, I dislike them. I can understand where you're coming from. I may be 14, but hey I remember a heck of a lot of old stuff. So i can understand where you are coming from with the 'nostalgia bias'.

No way dude. I love Regular Show. Its one of the cartoons that's keeping me watching CN. Its hard to believe that people hate the show. Its hilarious in my opinion.
