 I'm actually surprised there isn't already a topic for this considering all the hype that's been shown for it. Ah well, time to get one made! So as you may or may not know, Kid Icarus: Uprising marks Pit's return to gaming after... uh... a lot of years. I want to say 25 but I'm not exactly sure if that's the right number I'm looking at. (I should really do my research before making a topic about a game, huh?) In a nutshell it's an action game on the 3DS which is part on-rails shooter and part running around on foot as you fight your way to the boss. Or at least that's my understanding of it. It's not actually out in Australia yet. So, whether you have the game or not, get in here and express your thoughts on this title! Oh, and if we've got enough people playing it we might be able to use this thread to organise some matches online sometime. Something I'm looking forward to trying for sure~ So yeah, discuss whatever you feel like discussing about the game here. Story related elements that are spoilers should probably go in spoiler tags. Close, the original game was released in 1986, So I would say 26 years. That's of course if you don't include his outing in Brawl. But yeah, Really looking forward to |

As most of the Shackateers know, I got this game back in Friday when it came out around here and been playing Single Player mode ever since. It's pretty good and I'd definitely like to play multiplayer with everyone once they the game. Of course, I can see everyone spending a while in Single Player just collecting the right weapons and what not beforehand. Hell, that's mostly what I'm doing too. xD; |

I watched some gameplay on it and I am very impressed. I just bought Mario Kart 7 today, so I want to save up and wait for another time since I am buying stock for my work. On another subject maybe now people can start talking about the new Smash Bros, but that is for another topic and time. |

Bought it Saturday and have made it to chapter 3 (would be further but OoT has been taking up most of my time. Made it past the Shadow Temple already and I've only had it since Friday. XP ). So far I like it. It's fun and easy to get the hang of.

This game is one of the reasons to have a 3DS. I swear, When i get a 3DS (When i see another price drop or see if one is pre-owned), I'm getting this game. Also, i gotten a "Power of Flight" AR card that i found in one of my issues of Gameinformer. Can't wait to see what that will do when i look at it with the 3DS!!! Bet it'll look cool!! |

Game's freaking epic. Picked it up last sunday, and made it up to chapter 11. Really cool weapon system, really nice shooting controls, and the multiplayer is fun as hell. Some of the dialogue makes me roll my eyes, but for the most part I really like the story, especially (Possible Spoilers incoming) Dark Pit, he's really well done, not just some generic "dark" character that is illogically evil just because darkness is bad, he knows the Underworld Army isn't the winning side and he's not afraid to help you take it down, but in the end he's still out to get you too. He actually reminds me of an ideal version of Shadow. Also, his theme is amazing. Still, I'm just gonna rant here for a second: If you're ever playing Light v.s. Dark, do your job and go to the Pits, seriously there's nothing more annoying than playing in a match who won't protect you when your pit, or won't help you when you try to take the other Pit down. Anyway, my code is 1118-0225-4062, I'd love to play with any of you guys sometime. |

As the Shackateers are aware I finally picked up this game on Thursday and I've been enjoying it immensely. Pretty much instantly became my favourite 3DS title and will probably stay that way for a while. There are a lot of things this game gets right for me, so I'm just going to keep my thoughts on it short and sweet: I love this game. <3 Up to Chapter 4 as I'm typing this. I'll probably play it a bit more tonight. Haven't had the chance to try out Multiplayer yet but I'm going to try sometime next week. Maybe on Thursday. We'll see~ |
