I typically post one of these with every major Sonic game that's been released, starting with Sonic Unleashed ending with Sonic Colors. Not many people have gotten into them, but I hope people really get into this one since there's a board solely for this game. I always find it fun for people on forums to compete against each other, and actually compare their scores. There's a certain drive that hits you when you see someone just slightly have a lower time than you, and makes you want to replay the level and hope to do better. Time trial topics are fun to me, which is why I try to create so many. As I said earlier, I really hope you guys can get into it. Submission is extremely easy. Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.

[Outrealm Vagabond] Posts: 4,994 Group: C Rank Legend Member #11,272 Joined: July 25, 2010	I think I saw this when it was first posted but forgot to say something in it. ^^; Anyway, if this does happen to get going I might get a couple of times up here. Just a quick question though, do you want us to do this via the game's Time Attack mode or just within the main game itself? Two main reasons for asking: 1) The Time Attack mode doesn't have the bosses included. So that's a bit of a problem. Also there's the fact that there's a normal and hard mode for each boss. I'm assuming we would tackle the normal ones, correct? 2) In the main game you have to take skills into account. For the sake of an even playing field you might want to have a rule up that everyone must play with no skills, or may only use a specified set of skills. Otherwise those with a firm grasp on what skills work best where might have an advantage. With those answered I'll see what I can do about posting some times.
