Rejoice, for bad things are about to happen!
Yup, although If I remember correctly it was just a cut-scene and then you got one of the weapons you could equip to Omega-Xis, you didn't actually have to do anything for it other then go to the area that triggered it.

I liked:
Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening/DX and the Oracle of Ages/Seasons
Sonic Pocket Adventure
Wario Land 3
Sonic Triple Trouble
Kirby's Dreamland 2
Super Mario Land 2
Final Fantasy Adventure
Donkey Kong (the one someone posted here earlier)
Sonic Advance 1 and 2
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow (I have the collection)
Pokemon Red/Blue and Gold/Silver/Crystal (8-bit was where Pokemon was excellent.)
Mega Man Xtreme 1 and 2
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (only because I liked the menu's)

All except for the Advance games can all be made available on the Dreamcast.
Yes the Sega Dreamcast.
That's how I get my LoZ fix.

Awww....I was going to say that :(

Anyway, I too think it's the greatest handheld game of all time, and probably the closest thing to a perfect game. Anyone can play it, yet it's difficult for even veteran gamers to master. Simple in concept, yet deep in complexity. It can be made as easy or as hard as you want. The music is great. The graphics are simple yet totally functional. And it's very addictive trying to beat your high score on lines.

Because I know how you roll gaming-wise, I'll let you share the victory with me. Sound fair? :D

Sorry to keep you waiting!
For my favorite handheld game, it'd go to Minish Cap for the GBA, while my favorite handheld system is the 3DS.

My favorite handheld so far has probably been the DS.

As for the best handheld game, I'm not really sure. One that sticks out in my mind has been the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance series.

You only get one chance to live. Most people live those lives without ever realizing it.
Favorite handheld system and game, eh? Whelp, for the system I'd definitely have to go with the Gameboy Advance. That was a big portion of the gaming side of my childhood. So portable and easy to use~

And as for my favorite handheld game, whew, that's a tough one. I think I'd have to say either Pokemon Sapphire, simply because that was the first game I got for the GBA and the rather big world to travel around (at least it's big to me) and all the Pokemon to catch, it's pretty awesome. Plus Blaziken is my favorite Pokemon of all time so that's a huge plus

Or it could be Super Maro Advance 2, after endless hours of watching my older brother play it on his GBA, and after beating the game the Koopas turn into Luigi's. That cracked me up. And I can't remember, but it was either that game, Super Mario 64, or Sunshine that got me into the Mario Bros. franchise in the first place.

My favorite handheld game is Patapon 2. Patapon 1 and 3 were awesome, but 3 was too different, so I'd have to say 2. As a whole, it's my favorite handheld series.
I also love the Medabots RPG for the GBA. So very good.
Metroid II was also amazing, especially if played on the original Gameboy.
Of course, the Pokemon series is what got me into RPGs in the first place, and the whole series is amazing (although I like the old graphics better than the 3D ones, go figure).
Also, Super Mario Advance 2 was the second portable game I ever had.
Not quite sure how the consoles hold up. I love Patapon, but the PSP just doesn't have that many other games that I like other than some Megaman and homebrews.
So I'd have to say the GBA is my winner, too. Possibly followed by the DS.
On another note, anyone else getting nostalgic about Battle Network? My fave was 3 or 4.

You know what was a good one was Wario Blast.
It's too bad we don't see any more Bomberman tie ins or Bomberman games anymore for that matter.

Shantae and the Game and Watch Gallery games were the tits too.

I'm a fan of Hamtaro: Ham Hams Unite for the Gameboy Color. That game just gave me so many memories. That was my favorite game when I was little, and plus it was very challenging for me at least, and all. But the levels, the characters and plot it just all seemed so well developed. And I just really loved that game.

As for my favorite handheld system, I'd have to say the Gameboy, with the DS coming in to a close second. I just have a whole bunch of games for the Gameboy, like Sonic, Hamtaro, Pokemon, ect. I have a lot of memories on there. And the system was just so well made. I used to have one for a while, for like 3 years-4 years and it never broke. But then I gave it away and all so yeah. And the DS is my second favorite since I have many games for that as well. And it's just a really cool system. I just really like those systems.

I don't know, I just really like Hamtaro Ham Hams unite a lot as my favorite Handheld game and the Gameboy/DS as my favorite systems.

You gave it away? What are you, girl, nuts?! But that game was so much fun! D:

My copy got busted, though. The game's saving mechanism just randomly flopped one day. I managed to beat it within a day once or twice, but there were still jewelery to make and dances to choreograph and pictures to take afterwards and I HAD to turn the GBA off after so many hours. D:

Speaking of which, maybe I should look up a GBA emulator and replay this. Even if it's just for nostalgia's sake.
