Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	You've lost... The battle was fought well, or maybe it wasn't. Either way, you were pinned as the loser in the fight. A large orb surrounds you, encasing you without warning. It soon fades away in digital particle, only to arrive in a dark and metal like room. The orb shatters, releasing you from its grasp. You land on the hard, cold, metal floor. You can barely see anything, until a figure makes himself known. Your eyes tell you that is No Data, however, it is not. It is a gold female No Data. She claps her hands twice, which triggers the lights to switch on. The room it a all metal, no sighs of any technology in sight. "This is the Grave Yard room..." She informs you. "Actually, this is the Drop Point of the Grave Yard room. The actual room is behind me." She continues to speak, to which she moves out the way and shows you the door. "You will have a second chance to join the tournament again, once you cross over into the Grave Yard. However, you have to fight for that second chance." She pauses for a moment, to let this thought sink in before she continued. "If you are the winner of these trails, you'll have your chance to rejoin the fighters... However, you must remain here should you win these trails... Let me explain." She pauses again as she blocked the door once more, crossing her arms as she prepared her speech. "Since you lost your fight, you arrived here. Once the entire round is over, you'll fight against the others that have lost for a chance to rejoin the tournament, but not directly against them. The Grave Yard will change into the proper arena setting, to which the battle will begin. Those that survive the level will be granted a chance to rejoin the winners in the next round. Depending on the level will determine your enemy. At times you'll be fighting waves of enemies, and at times you'll be fighting one enemy. Either way, you only get one chance, and only one chance. Should you obtain this chance to fight in the tournament again, and you lose a second time... Game Over..." Her warning echoed throughout the room, as if more than one person spoke those last two words. "Proceed into the Grave Yard, and await for the level to begin." With that said, she moved out the way again as the lights dim and fix on the door that leads into the Grave Yard. Once you pass through the door, you'll find yourself in a outside lobby setting. It is always night here, and the moon is dark blue. There are wooden tables about, and wooden chairs, camped around a decent sized 'camp' fire that is also blue. This is the lobby for the Grave Yard. =================================== Yes, you get a second chance. However, its not as promising as it sounds. Here are the rules and information for this Grave Yard business. - Everyone that has lost will be transported to the Grave Yard. Once all the matches are done and graded, I'll open a new Grave Yard Level. So, those that lose the first round will fight in the Grave Yard Level 1, and so on. - You will be graded the same way you get graded as if you're fighting another member, that wont change. Also, you still have to stick to your bio. You win if your score is better than the others. So in short, the person with the highest score wins. - The top three people with the highest score will be the survives. Everyone else will be presumed 'dead' until the entire tournament is done(which is when everyone who died comes back to life.) This number will decrease the higher the level goes, because they'll be less people fighting for the a second chance. - The winners can rejoin the tournament in two ways. -- One: If someone doesn't post their intro post in their match, they are automatically disqualified, no Grave Yard for them. This means that one of the top scoring people who survived take that person's place. Thus, the second chance part kicks in. -- Two: If somehow the matches become uneven and we need another fighter, one of the top scoring people who survived will fill that gap. - You only get ONE second chance. If you lose for a second time in a match, you die(until the end of the tournament). - If you survived the level, yet didn't get to fight again, you'll move onto the next level and will have to fight again for the top score. - Remember, each level will be different, none of the levels will be exactly the same. - THIS IS OPTIONAL. Those that have lost do not need to go through with this. If you want to fight for this second chance, then you simply post in here. - This Grave Yard topic will act like the Inter Round Lobby, only this is just for those that lost. Once you died, either by not surviving the level or losing a match a second time, you can not post in this topic any more. He tries to remember what happened. He was fighting Silfide, the flamingo, in a pretty even battle. But then... he showed up. That guy he saw before in the lobby when he first got here. Enemy, was it? The figure informed him he cheated, as healing is not allowed, and now he finds himself here. Fen finds himself filling with anger. His stupid mistake led to the terrifying encounter and now he already lost the tournament, finding himself in a metal room. What are they going to do now? Take his spirit energy? This is ironic he thought, laughing at himself. First to enter, first one out... heh... He wonders how his friend, the one he sparred with, Chaos, is doing. He sighs and sits down, frustrated and disappointed, but his ears perk up upon noticing a female golden No Data, who lit the room and gave him a speech, and Fen slightly cheered up upon hearing he can still return. So I still have a chance, Fenroar thought, getting up and smiling when the No Data finished. I'll return and make up for this... Fen then walked through the doors as instructed, with the Genesis sword in one hand resting on his shoulders, on the back of his neck, finding himself at a campfire-like scene. So this is the graveyard, Fenroar reacted. And I can face anything. Just hope I won't be alone for too long.
