Problem with keyboard

Yep.
 My keyboard keeps freezing up every time i type up a few words. It happened just today, when i booted up the computer. Also, whenever i play a game, the controls suddenly stop responding for a few seconds.

I don't know what to do and it's very frustrating. >.<

EDIT: Oop! Nevermind, i just did a system scan, erased all the viruses and suddenly the keyboard and mouse work fine. I guess some sort of virus was interfering with the keyboard's programming or something. Oh well, all fixed. =3
