Did not know where to exactly put this so help me if it is in the wrong place. Lately for about a year or so, I have been brainstorming ideas for a comic I want to make. One that really stood out was a project that I call: Sonic Capsule. What does it mean? Well I will list a summary of a story here in a bit, but first I want to make clear that I have no artistic talents. If I decide to make this, I will basically be just writing and script for now. I know boring but hopefully I will work out. Now, Sonic Capsule is an idea basically in the realm of comics, but also in a similar place in the games. The first volume will just consist of Sonic, Tails, and Eggman. Not sure if I should include Orbot and Cubot for comedic relief, but that is not important right now. So basically, Sonic starts out just relaxing out on the edge of the cliffs, enjoying the fresh air and sounds of waterfalls and wildlife. Tails calls for him from his workshop. (Image the setting like Tails' place in Mystic Ruins but with more forest. When Sonic arrives, Tails' introduces a new invention that he has been creating called capsules. With these "capsules", Tails explains how he can create small amounts of energy and can perform various actions when ingested. He shows in example a few, such as an energy capsule (increased stamina for a short time, but is twice as tired before consumption), a flight capsule (able to fly for a period of time, but is lost when touches ground/water or when time runs out), and a golden capsule, which he explains how Sonic can transform into his super form with out the use of the Chaos Emeralds, but if ingested has a 5% chance of transformation, and leaving if it is a fail (the other 95%), can cause Sonic to die due to a chemical reaction and more science stuff. Tails does more research since he has all seven of the emeralds, making his research to be more successful over time. However, Eggman is seen outside in his giant mech (similar towards a Voltron, Transformer, etc) called the Egg Colossus. The robot grabs Sonic through the window and clutches him in its grasp. Eggman then gawks about his soon-to-be made victory and has banter between himself and/or the robots. When he turns around, Sonic is standing outside the glass shield and smash it in one punch. Sonic then proceeds to be cheeky and starts pressing all the buttons making the robot due silly and awkward movements. Sonic then hit a self-destruct switch, in with Eggman/Orbot or Cubot ponders on why they did ever put it in there. With the countdown ticking, Eggman sees the shine coming off of the Chaos Emeralds and makes one quick dash to grab them with his mech. He then throws them all in separate directions, very far away so that if he perfects his machines before Sonic can grab all of the emeralds and become SuperSonic. The robot explodes sending Eggman and company flying into the deep forest away. Sonic escapes swiftly and suspects that Eggman is up to no good, again. Tails' said that they need the Chaos Emeralds to protect them from Eggman and use in his research for the golden capsule, just so it can be perfected in time. Sonic and Tails then hop on the plane and fly off to where the first emerald is said to be located. And on with a new adventure. So yea, that is the basics of it. Later on, the capsules are used more and more with some different ones, like a bubble shield, climbing walls, and more. I have an idea with one for a volume 2 when the "second story" involves a kidnapped Blaze and a special fire transformation capsule for Sonic, but that is for later. So tell me guys, what is your take on it? Like it or hate it? Too much or too little of this or that? Please list your opinions, I would love to hear and comment back on it and will be glad to take ideas if reasonable.

Sorry for a double post, but if this does goes through, I will TRY to draw the series. Right now, I need to see if I have any skills and if this idea will work. |
