As well as the Ace Attorney crossover ventures with the good old Professor Layton, Capcom's revealed to Famitsu that it's working on a fifth numbered installment of the series. Details are practically non-existent at this point but its good to hear that Phoenix is going back in the courtroom. |

So does that mean Phoenix finally stopped living in a cardboard box on the side of the road? 'Cause Apollo Justice really rustled my jimmies. Unless it's another Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth game. That would be cool too. |

Nope, its been confirmed as Phoenix Wright 5, staring Phoenix himself. (I guess they are counting the Apollo Justice game as number 4) |

I knew this a bit ago, but seeing it's considered the 5th installment, I assume it would be a main game, not Investigations. But wait, how do you know it's going to star Phoenix? I haven't heard anything about that. It could star Apollo, or maybe a whole new attorney. All I saw was "Ace Attorney 5 confirmed".... Plus, assuming it continues the main storyline, Phoenix would be pretty old. I kinda hope they have this entry star Apollo again. Just seems like he has something more after his game. Also, I don't see why Apollo Justice is divided among fans. I played all of the Ace Attorneys and say what you want, but I thought Apollo Justice was(and still is) hands-down my favorite Ace Attorney. |

Bumping this up for some big news. Get your lawyer badges ready, as Ace Attorney 5 is confirmed for the Nintendo 3DS. Phoenix Wright is set to return as the main lawyer, taking place a year after the events of Apollo Justice. Obviously, it means he went and got his lawyer badge back, though I do miss Apollo. Hoping he makes some sort of appearance in the game and not just scrapped. Wanted to see him develop more. Seen in the game is a mysterious women in yellow, who developers confirm will play a central role in the game. Phoenix's first case will begin against Winston Payne's younger brother. More info. Screenshots showing off the game and the new 3D style. Appears you can select Phoenix's face expressions. Oh and the game is indeed confirmed to come to the west, so those skeptical of Capcom's recent questionable decisions can be at ease(As seen when we didn't sadly get Investigations 2).
