The cold, metal walls were a lifeless gray. The metal bars were rusted. Inside the cell were three hedgehogs: One black, one white, and one blue. They lied sprawled on the floor. The white one stirred, and slowly got up. He shook up, and tried to remember how they got there, or at least how he got there. He did not succeed, and the only thing to come to mind was a headache. He held his head lightly in pain, and stood up from his crouching pose. "I don't... Understand..." Silver said, examining the room. "What is happening?" |

"And you think I have an answer?" Shadow said as he woke up. He stood to his feet and looked around. He seen Sonic still asleep on the floor. He tapped his head with his foot, to check he's still alive. Shadow then realized, his chaos emerald was missing. It wasn't anywhere on him. |

"I am not sure... We have to get out, that's for sure." Silver responded. He walked over to the rusted bars of the cell, and closed his eyes before putting his hands forward. Using his telekinesis, he pulled the bars apart, but before they could bend far, the bars snapped. Silver psychicly pushed the broken bars out of the way, and stepped through the opening into the hallway. The hallway was not much better. It was made of the same material the cell was, except that there was occational patches of dead black moss. The smell was quite unpleasant, the smell of heavy mechanical smog. The worst part, though, was the complete and utter dead silence. It creeped Silver out. "The sooner we get out of this place, the better." |

(Silver has qsicokinesis, not telekinesis) Shadow followed Silver. "Then let's not waste time." He said. He looked around the place and scowled. "As soon as I find out who put us here, his ass is mine." He looked back at Sonic and Silver and started walking. |

(Close enough.) Silver walked down the hallway. It seemed abandoned, completely. Soon enough, he noticed a large hole in the wall to the right, and it seemed to lead outside. "Oh! An exit!" Silver said, running towards the hole. He really wanted to get out of the building. As soon as he could, he turned right and looked out at the world. He regretted it. The sky was a dark purple, with clouds of smog. The dark grey ground was covered in dead brown grass. Old, metal tubing went through the ground. Any trees or plants that used to be there were replaced with run-down mechanical versions. Off to the side, Silver could see a badly polluted grey river. The air was still. This was Palmtree Panic. |

Shadow came up behind Silver. He took one look at the scene and then turned his head. He clutched his fist and turned to Sonic. "Just like old times, huh?" He said to him. "Do you think the others are okay?" He asked looking back out at the world. |

Silver felt rather awkward, not sure what to do exactly. He lightly touched Sonic's shoulder. "There... There? C'mon, we have to continue on, find a way to undo this." He said, feeling sorry for Sonic. |

Shadow only turned his back. "Let's." He said. "But, first we must find out who caused all of this to happen and why they locked us up." He said. He looked down from where they were. It was a tower. Shadow took one last look at the two then jumped down. |
