Remember the time that you registered for the forum and you didn't know anyone around you? Hah, yeah, I remember! This thread is basically telling you to compare yourself from NOW, to the past when you joined the forum as a newbie. I haven't been here for a long time, but I've learned a lot and made new friends. I've also went through a lot of ranks throughout the months. Well, here goes. Just follow from what I'm doing and you'll get how to compare yourself...  THEN: When I first registered this site, I was a "lost puppy." I didn't know what I was doing, I got very emotional when people would correct me on things, even though they are actually helping. I was originally named "Scorch the Hedgehog" and I had one person I despised on this website. I also had one friend.  NOW: Now, I know a lot of details to the forum and I'm not longer a stray. I do know what I am doing most of the time and I'm not afraid to ask Admins, Mods, or experienced users questions. I don't get emotional anymore for corrections, I consider them as a lesson learned now. I am now Brandon the Wolf (of course) and I am much more experienced for character information and concepts. The person I despised before is now a good friend. Not the best like Hatred (Hatred is my bro!) but an amazing friend. He was the one I despised because he always corrected me on every situation when he was just trying to help...and I RESPECT THAT. All in all, I consider this forum as my home and I know there is much more to accomplish on here for me.  YOUR TURN!!!!

Then (January 16th, 2009): I was a naive kid with a lot of crazy in the brain with a lot of passion for video gaming and drawing. I knew how forums worked for the most part, but I tended to spam, and cause some hectic here and there. Now: I am now your typical wannabe mangaka with writing talents and a passion for video gaming, whom is still crazy in the head, is overdramatic, constantly pulling memes out of his ass, spends a lot time on TVTropes, and obsessed with Gurren Lagann and Evangelion. And pissing off Kale constantly. I think I really haven't changed at all. Okay, maybe not spamming as much as I used to back in the day or getting into fights with Devlin. Then: I was a bit more active than I have been since, but I feel as if I know this place better now. At a glance, it seemed like the ideal alternative to Sonic Pros, which was my holdout shelter of sorts for until Sonic Speed Zone Forums returned. It still hasn't, unfortunately, but I'm not exactly active on Sonic Pros at all anymore either, so this place became a bit more central for me due to my interest in Sonic. Now: I'm active mostly because this is the best place to keep in contact with the person who I consider my best friend. The forum is fun in general, so I've been trying not to outright ignore it in regards to being active in general. But, I'm unfortunately busy a lot, due to work and school, so I'm not all that active. xD; |

[Alright, I know I already made one, but I've looked over mine and realized, I think I should update it. Then: Looking at myself back when my name was still "Scorch The Hedgehog" or "Brandon The Wolf" makes me feel like I'm a whole different person right now. I was pretty childish and even though I've never got into any trouble with a mod or admin, I'd say that I have been given chances. I honestly realized I sucked at drawing back then so I began to stop drawing for a very long time. I never had the confidence to make an art topic. I also didn't know crap about pretty much anything and I did play more video games than anything else. I was a Call of Duty player. I also didn't really have that much respect on here due to my immaturity and lack of common sense. I focused more on myself then others. I tried to fit in and be one of the cool users, but yeah, I knew that wouldn't work judging by some of the banned users I've experienced. Not to mention, the only posts I ever gotten here that weren't in the Casino Park were Role playing posts. I was too afraid to post topics due to the fact I might post a topic about something without anyone's interest. I was also afraid to reply topics that I had interest in. I was honestly just that cautious kid who wanted to at least be somewhat of a friendly user to people and have people at least tolerate me so I didn't feel alone in this forum. I also felt like I had to leave a couple times because of my insecurity. But then again, that was me after I got out of a mental institution. I still had to get used to my environment, figure out what's new on the internet (before I was at a mental institution, lots of this stuff I see now wasn't popular or even known to exist.) I was just a lonely and confused user on the most part. I've changed a lot now. vvv Now: I'm much better now. I have matured much more since I've gotten used to my environment. I'm doing a bunch of graphic arts, designing, I self-taught myself HTML/CSS coding by monkeying with certain templates, I've taught myself how to Photoshop images of any sort. I've improved on my drawings, which is a plus. I'm not afraid to post my own topics or replies anymore, but I still rarely do it due to the fact I have no common interests with people besides something that has to do with music, art, literature, OR POSSIBLY, certain types of games. I stopped playing video games due to loss of interest and stay on the computer, draw, or exercise more. I don't feel too insecure about myself anymore for I finally have some people that tolerate me or actually is somewhat of a friend to me on this forum. I can't really list friends or acquaintances for I don't know if they feel the same for me. I know by fact that some actually somewhat tolerate me due to how they respond to my statements. I've actually mellowed down even more now. Not as hyperactive or annoying as I used to be. I kinda annoyed myself as I looked at my past statements...and my introduction statement when I joined this forum. Bottom line is I've finally matured and I'm happily I did so. SB is still my main forum and as if right now, I don't have an alternate forum to go to if this one happened to shut down or lose an extreme amount of activity. Honestly, as I look at it now, Cy has saved this forum from going down to complete trash since the other admins can't really be on as much due to either internet problems or just life overall, they probably moved on, which is normal. There will come a time where I will do the same. Also, I've gained the confidence to start my own art topic. I don't get as much activity on my art topic, but I get some feedback. I also have a lyric thread that I post songs on it that I'm planning on performing acoustically when I begin guitar lessons and learn 'em. Also, people actually cheer me up when I'm upset here. I know Kammy did when I was really upset and worried and I bet people in the past have done it as well. I also have some new ideas coming ahead to what I plan for to pretty much set my course to being a dedicated user to this forum. |

Ha, this is going to be short but sweet. First joined, was polite and helpful and made a mod after about 2 weeks, which pissed just about everybody up. Stood down in a massive shitstorm that the forums hath not seen before or since, apart from Epic Leave and Antony the Bat. Now, just flirting with the forums on days it suits me in a very chill fashion, annoying people when it's funny and being supportive when it's not. Oh and I turn 30 in December so I'm contemplating leaving, old punk on the forums hanging with kids isn't very cool. |

Well... Then:I had no clue about this forum and only had my main F.C Shady and was only looking for a F.C maker. Now:I know how to move around this site and use it, I know how to use the stuff for the full repply screen and most of the rules. I also made a R.P buddy and heaps more F.Cs aka: Im more of a nerd then what I was

Here gos...: Then:I was very new to this place, and found it rather fun.I made friends, fast, and knew what to do, as I had deviantART and socialring (Rest in peace, socialring) My best friend was Yin, who still is. Now:I dont come here often anymore, spending most of my time on deviantART, and im sure the site moved on without me.Also, now im a artist, and im a little rusty with RP's.
