So I've seen some news about them. But I'm not sure if I want to shell out any money for them. Has anyone played either the first one or the second one? I know the second one just came out so I'm curious if their worth playing.

Eh, I rented the first. It's... decent. Charming little game, but mini games got more tedious as the game went on so I got bored and turned it back in. I heard it's not that much different in the sequel judging from reviews so yeah.

It's more of an adventure mini game kind of thing, so give it a try maybe if you're interested? If not, then pass.

The thing that caught my attention was the battle system in Pokepark 2. I saw a few screens and thought it looked like it would be fun.

Meh, the battle system has improved slightly in the sequel but its still very basic and button mashy.

I'd imagine it's kinda like Pokemon Rumble, which is a tedious game by itself.

Robots can't be corrupted by demons... right?
Wow, this is pretty funny, considering I just got the first game a couple days ago. That game is pretty fun, I love all the different varietys of pokemon you can get. However, it is mostly mini games, as if you want to get through the attractions, you really do need to make friends. But, all in all, if you enjoy lots of mini games, you might consider getting it. But I can't really say anything about the second one, 'cause, well, I don't have it...
"But that doesn't make any-"

If it was just for the battling I would recommend getting Rumble over this game as Rumble at least has more pokemon to play as and more moves to use.

I tried the demo for Rumble and liked it. The only thing I didn't really care for was the designs for the pokemon. It just seems out of place to me to have them look like that.

I may just end up getting the second game from Gamestop and if I don't like it I can take it back.
