Say you had to be on a deserted island. For a whole year. You can take the following; 1: A year's worth of food. One kind of food. Which kind would you take? 2: A weapon of some sorts. Which weapon would you take? 3: One extra change of clothes. What set of clothing would you take? 4: A form of entertainment that does not require electricity to run. What would you take? 5: Something/someone/somewhatever of your choice. What or who would you take? |

@Brandon: I do like most kinds of seafood, but I have to say I've never liked crustaceans or oysters/oyster-like meat. So I guess that just leaves fish. ^_^;; Oh, and octopus/squid meat. U-uhhhh... @Aaron: If two's company and three's a crowd, 228 is probably psychosis. @Blaire: Oh boy, a big question... Here we go: The food I'd take would be (as much as I'd hate it) steamed vegetables with melted cheese on top. Optimum nutritional value covering all the key dietary requirements needed to survive. I guess I'd have to hunt some fish or wild animals for meat supplement, but otherwise I'd probably get sufficient protein from the vegetables. The weapon I'd take would be a long, unbluntable, double-sided knife/dagger. It can be used for utilitarian purposes (hewing overgrown plant matter, climbing leverage, cutting rope, skinning/scaling meat) as well as, well, hunting/defensive purposes. The extra clothes I'd take would be warm, tough clothing, like a thick leather longcoat or something. Durability ensures it'll last a year in hazardous conditions, the warmth provided will protect me from cold weather and rain, and the size will allow for various other uses (blanket, sail, etc) and gives protection from critters such as snakes, spiders and space bears. The entertainment I'd bring is a bit more difficult. I guess I'd bring a massive supply of pens and empty sketchbooks. That way I can write, draw, jot down notes and memories, and stuff like that. If I can't get outside stimulation, I'll just think of something interesting instead, As for what or who else I'd bring, that there's a closed question. >:3 I think you know the answer for that one. |
