Follow this link if you wish to join. ------ The secret behind the Digital World ------ We know Earth was created from ether religious matters or our planetary system. There are theories but none have been confirmed whether it's the truth or not. So what about this world whereas monsters are in form of digitalized materials, yet still own a heart, looking as lively like any living being. Yet how come there's a world within the so called human world. Then what created such? Is it our advanced technological achievement, able to pertain a lively world in it's own prosperous manner. No...? Then what is? Certain secretive teams have been assigned investigation this matter at hand, but none have made it back successful. Could it be that we're looking in the wrong place? Would the inhabitants of the digital world offer a hand in it's mystery. Yet our only encounter has been our near death. Knowing when to strike at those who dare to invade what ain't ours. Now is the time to act! Whether it comes from pure coincidence or that of waste experience it ain't to our choosing. All we need to find out is, what created this world, could it cause great harm for our future survival. Would someone decide to abuse the system, none can tell, only that those who've been chosen to carry out such responsibilities will be known as our Didi-destined. ---------- UK London Just due south from the river of Thames in one of the local stores, "Rarities and Quantities!" fancy name that. A young man around the twenties are about to close-shop, but there's trouble not far away. Just about to emerge through the exit, two rampaging vehicles racing toward the immediate area, were smoke arise in the distance. It's thick intensity could very well mean it's a huge fire just across the bridge. Raven felt obliged to investigate, worried at the same time, considering he's making a living in one of the apartments. Arriving at the scene, who's of course been closed off by the authorities. Folks normally tend to seek danger, or for the sake of love, that someone could still be trapped inside the inferno. It's all ruined in a matter of seconds. All his furnish belongings are engulfed by nature's wrath. With both fists closed, he was both furious, but also at the brink of crumbling down onto it's knees, crying. There's no relevant hope, and without further interest watching the heroic battle that these men fought valiantly. Raven retreated from the scene upon his bike. At this moment he felt helpless, calling parents wouldn't do their all situated across the ocean, eastward. At least he had his wallet and credit card. Persistently he kept on working his way through the lively street's of London, until he abruptly halted at the sight of someone attempting theft from an old man. Struggling to defend him self, it only ended with a knife been drawn out, ending the man's misery, whereas the police officer's routing from nearby, leading to the murderer's quick exit. Curiosity could have you strapped to a wall, but Raven just had to investigate. It ain't often you end up seeing a man being cut down. And whatever belongings he carried along with him, must've been important. Picking up the bag, only to hear the man's plea. Startled he knew there's a life worth saving here. Picking up the phone calling the sick-personal, while at his best trying to treat the wounded man at his best abilities. An act of desperation led him only to push the young man further away from him. As if he had already lost hope about living, instead he mumbled. "Take... take this..." From his hand he revealed some sort of mechanism, it looked frail and rather irrelevant. Insistent he wished Raven to take it, before drawing his last breathe. The ambulance arrived shortly there after, taking care of the lifeless body. Pitying the old man that he could've deserved a better end to his life. But what about this item, did he knew something Raven didn't. Without delay he wished to return back home, but was instead asked to follow the officers back to their station. What a day...! The human thought as he was put in the backseat. While even more, puzzled as he kept on eying the valuable he's been given. |

Kuroshi was sitting up on the roof of his school, having ditched class as usual... No, 'ditched wasn't the right word, 'didn't even bother with it' would be a better way of putting it. besides, he figured he was gonna get called out, AGAIN. Yesterday he had given someone a black eye for trying to stir Kuroshi's ire. so, he just laid back, used his hands as a makeshift pillow, and waited. Just a little before he was gonna get up, and leave, the door to the roof opened, as about 20 other kids, most of them bigger and more muscled than him came out, and formed a half ring around him. They were glaring at him, which Kuroshi had perfectly expected. Kuroshi laid there still, for a moment, until one of the kids yelled "Get up, you d*mn @$$hole! It's about time that someone put you in yer gah'd*mn place." Kuroshi just chuckled, before standing up, slowly. "Trust me, I'd be more than willing to go to 'my place', if there was some ONE that could do it. Well, who's it gonna be? This 'someone'? Oh, wait, let me guess, yer all such weaklings, you all have to gang up on pour li'l ol' me, huh?" Kuroshi quipped back to the kid who spoke, putting on this exaggerated scared act, before smiling, almost evilly at the 'huh?'. He chuckled again, as he saw all their eyes narrow. "You... you think we're gonna let you get away with that!?" another kid shouted at him. "Oh, by all means, if any ONE of you can 'put me in my place' I'll happily back down. But from what I'm seeing, all of you are to scared to do jack squat, unless you make it so theirs 1/20th the chance of getting hurt. Ya know why yer scared? Because. you. are. all. p*$$ies." Kuroshi said, putting emphasis on all his words. That pushed them over the ledge. They all rushed him, intending to put the holy living days out of him. 'About freaking time!' Kuroshi thought, as he did a jump spin kick to several of the ones who got to him first, landed low on all fours, just to drive his foot back, to kick and then sweep another's foot, causing him to crash into another kid. Then he did one of the fastest martial get up moves, to drive both his fists into faces of kids on his immediate sides, before blocking another with his fore arms, just to grab the kids wrist, pull the kid forward... right into the advancing fist of Kuroshi's. just before the fist connected, the kid got a freeze frame look at Kuroshi's face. It looked like one of a demon, at the epitome of joy. His smile was huge, his eyebrows and eyes looking like they were angry. The first equivalent that could come to mind, was similar to a yin-yang symbol; the two sides in stark contrast, yet with a few similarities. Then the kid saw nothing but black. Kuroshi then used the kids unconscious body, to throw it into a group of his friends, then roundhouse kick a kid in the side of the face, before advancing out of the ring.he then made an exaggerated bored face, as he pretended to dust off his shoulder. over half the kids had gone down, a quarter were getting up, already hurt, while the rest hadn't been hit yet, but now were now longer glaring so much, as staring at him in a veiled bit of fear. Kuroshi went and stood casually, looking at them, and stared for a moment, before suddenly lunging his head forward, and going "Boo!". Several of the kids recoiled on instinct. "Come on, that was barely anything. I could've taken on another 15 of you or so. So, why don't you run along, and scram, before you really start to irritate me." he said, as he walked casually towards them. Despite their initial anger, they now parted ways for him, watching him as he went by. a couple were trying to wake their friends, and find out how badly everyone was hurt. "When you find this someone who can kick my @$$, just let me know where to meet him, and what time." Kuroshi said, as he exited the roof. He then proceeded on home, and then up to his room. His parents were gone most of the time, either at work, or out partying. he then laid on his bed, and pulled out his phone, to play a game. just as he opened it, he saw something strange; There was a message he had received. Puzzled, he opened up the message, when his phone suddenly made some crackling sound, the screen went snowy for a moment, and then some strange symbol appeared on the screen of his phone. Kuroshi was confused beyond all believe, but amazed as well. "You're Needed. Your strength, is needed. Will you accept?" the computerized voice spoke, almost like that of someones voice going through one of those voice scramblers. "What the hell...?" Kuroshi said, under his voice. Just then, the screen changed, with two options available; 'Yes' and 'No'. |

Anwar sat in his room, playing his favorite Sonic The hedgehog game. He sat on his bed and put down his controller. He looked at the small, white computerized object, on his nightstand. It was a gift from his older sister, just before she left for collage. She died when she went out with some friends. There was a fight between one of her friends and some guy. He took out a gun, and his sister had been shot. Just before she had left, she gave him this...thing. "Take care of him." She had told Anwar. "Him?" He asked. She never answered. He took it off of his nightstand and examined it. He put it back and returned to his game. |

"This is the last place where you'd rather be, isn't it?" the man hooked up to the machinery and lying on the hospital bed said. Roy turned to him as he pulled his jacket's collar a bit, trying to get over the cold. There was a terrible snow storm out on his side of the world, and he was now trapped inside the hospital with his father. It wasn't really the last place he'd rather be, but admittedly, it wasn't his favorite. "It's all right," he said. "It's just for tonight." The young man sits in the chair next to his father's bed. The grown man looks at him, breathing heavily and chuckles. "I remember the last time we brought you here before you turned nine-" "I'd rather not think about that," Roy interrupted. He rubbed his arms and sighed, before looking back at his father, who looked right back at him concerned. "Well, I'm sorry you have to be stuck here because of me," his father responded, a bit grimly. "No, no, it's not your fault," Roy said more gently. "I'm just going to go get some hot chocolate from the machine in the lobby, then I'm going to call mom. Need anything?" "I'm good." The young man then leaves the room and heads towards the elevators, only to find a crowd of people gathered. Broken down, huh? he turned around and decided to take the stairs down. The walk is particularly long, considering his father is in one of the highest floors. After finally reaching the lobby, he walks up to the machine and tries to get his drink, but the machine begins to act up. Soon, the electricity in the building begins acting up, the lights turning dim then too brightly before turning dark. "A power shortage?" one of the workers near him mentions. "I had a bad feeling we'd get one of these, what with the snow storm. Hope nothing bad happens to the patients." The power then comes back on, but by then Roy has already left the machine. As he approaches the stairs, he notices an elevator opening. Although it struck him odd considering how they had been failing, taking the elevator up was much quicker than the stairs and he needed to get to his father right away. The doors close and he waits for the elevator to reach the floor. Thankfully, there was no music or tune. He slumps back on one of the walls and thinks to himself. A few minutes go by, however, and the elevator continues to move. It should've already gotten there... he thinks. And... is it actually getting warm in here? He tried pressing other buttons but the elevator kept moving; he tried to resolve the situation by flipping open his cell phone and calling for help, but there was no reception. "You're kidding me... Help! Can someone hear me?!" Of course no one can hear, me, this thing just keeps moving... He wipes the sweat off his forehead and takes a deep breath. Please be OK, Dad. His thoughts are suddenly interrupted as the elevator begins to shake wildly. He grabs hold of the bars, but it begins to descend all of a sudden. "Aaaahh, wh-wha-!" the elevator then stops abruptly. The doors open, and Roy finds himself in a dark room. "Basement?" he noticed. He pushed some of the other buttons inside the elevator but it won't move in the slightest. Fine, I'll just take the stairs... he thought to himself as he headed towards the emergency door, but no matter how hard he pushed, it wouldn't open. Seriously? He sighed exasperated and walked towards one of the higher windows. It's completely white and it's unclear to see outside. Maybe this isn't the basement... It's not like I have some other way out of here, anyway, he figured as he tried to pull it open, only for snow to come pouring in. He fell back square on the floor as the snow comes down on him. "Well, that was brilliant," he muttered frustrated. As he dusted the snow off him, he noticed a small glimmer coming from the snow. |

It was such a strange dream. Her dreams tended to vary greatly, from anything as mundane to walking around minding her own business to the more fantastic dreams of her performing on stage as a rock star. But this one was one she had never had before. She started on an unfamiliar street, walking around as she tried to get a grasp on where exactly she was. The streets were empty and she seemed to be all alone. "Heeey! Is anyone here?" Marika called out, scanning the area with her eyes for movement. There was nothing but silence for a few moments... until another voice spoke back. "Over here." it spoke, seemingly having no source. "Where are you? I can't see anything!" she replied, confused. "If you want answers, step into the light." As the sentence ended, a dim light began radiating from one of the nearby alleyways. Although hesitant at first, the girl soon moved in to investigate. It wasn't like she had anywhere else to go right now anyway. "Sure, Marika. Go into the weird light because a voice tells you to. Great idea." she thought to herself as she peered into the alley, the light seeming to be fiercer a little deeper in. After taking a few moments to gather her thoughts she stepped forward, cautiously approaching the light. It seemed safe enough at first, but soon without warning it engulfed her, the girl finding herself floating in a strange white void with only a grey device in front of her. "W-what's going on?!" she called out, looking around in a slightly panicked state. "Relax. I'm not here to hurt you. Do you see the device in front of you?" The mysterious voice replied, seeming to come from everywhere around her. "You mean that thing with the screen and the wheel? What is that?" Marika replied with a raised eyebrow. "It's called a X Loader. I have been looking for one with a passionate soul to wield it for some time now, and so I have come to you. I fear something terrible may befall us all someday soon... and we need someone to lend us strength. Will you be that someone?" the voice explained in a calm tone, sounding slightly uncertain about its future. "But... how? How I even do that?" Despite the explanation, the girl was still unsure what was going on. "Humans have a strange way of being able to boost our power, it seems. We are not quite sure what the cause is ourselves. But I am sure that if you choose to wield this X Loader you will be able to do great things." Marika had to think about this for a moment. Was doing what a strange voice tells you really such a wise idea? But suddenly it occurred to her: this was probably all just some sort of dream. What harm could there be in her saying yes? "Um... sure. I'll do it!" she replied with a firm nod. "I am glad to hear that," the voice said happily. "Please, tell me what your name is." "Marika Inoue!" she called out, her words seeming to resonate around her and echo throughout the white space. In a few moments the dull grey device began changing colour, soon becoming a more vibrant red while its black buttons turned blue. The device floated towards her, soon close enough for her to reach out and grab with her hand. She inspected it closely before grabbing it, causing the light around her to grow brighter. "Take this X Loader, Marika Inoue. You may be our only hope..." the voice spoke one last time as everything slowly turned to white, Marika no longer being able to keep her eyes open. As she shot up from bed she was breathing heavily, looking around around. After a few moments she breathed a small sigh of relief, glad she was back in her familiar room. "Oh jeez... it was just a silly dream..." she muttered to herself, laughing slightly at her own moment of brief stupidity. However she soon froze again as her eye caught something on her desk. She turned her head towards it and rubbed her eyes, blinking a few times in disbelief, but there was no denying it. The device she had just dreamed about was sitting right there on her desk. Getting out of bed she took a few sheepish steps towards it, reaching out and touching it with her hand. As soon as she made contact she retracted it, jumping slightly. "It's real?!" she exclaimed, freaking out slightly. She wasn't sure what to make of this. What sort of trouble had she gotten herself into this time? "Ma... ka... Marika... MARIKA!!!" "Huh?" the girl mumbled as she was snapped back into reality, looking out the window as she sat at her desk, leaning her head on her hands. "There you are. You were spacing out again!" a voice called out from the device sitting nearby, its screen flashing along with the words. Marika rubbed her face a little and shook her head. "Oh, sorry. I was just thinking about some things..." she replied quietly as she looked down at the open notebook before her, several notes being written out on its pages. "Well if you keep spacing out like that you'll never finish that song! Try to have some focus!" the voice instructed, almost sounding like it was her teacher or something. "Yeah, yeah, I know," she said as she picked up her pencil, placing it to the paper. "Let's get this finished and then see how it sounds." she said with a smile as she looked at her X Loader. "That's what I like to hear!" The voice replied in an excited tone. She began to write down notes again, humming them out as she did. (Yeah, wasn't sure how to start this. I hope it's okay. xP) |

//I ain't seen nothing wrong about it Jecht.\\ The saddened conclusion too lose a home and then witness a murder. What little is worth, is that he now carries around with an unusual device. It couldn't been a stroke of luck when all other things had turned for the worse. Being brought down to the police station, there's a simple rendezvous around the old man's death and whether he knew anything that brought down such fate upon this man. Coincidence in other words. That's all there's to it. And without further ado, Raven is allowed to leave. Frustrated and who knows how he'll make it to work tomorrow. Walking endlessly down the street south without purpose, rather then uncover the whereabouts to this item, as that's the only thing keeping his spirit up. "Excuse me...!" One of the officers, arrived with a small letter. "This must be yours, I found it in the back of my car." "Uh...! Thanks." Rather startled at first, he wasn't sure whether he would appreciate her commitment, but thankful as this could very well reveal more to what this old cranny wished to tell him, before he drew his last dying breathe. "Dear uncle! There's a matter of urgency I need you to take care of. Take my digital device to the nearest disposal site. Make sure you'd get rid of this, I rather want no one else have the same misfortune as I did. Sincerely Jake!" "Digital device eh?" Raven uttered out a few words, taking another glimpse at it. Must've been of great importance, or misfortune considering he sent his uncle. Careless he didn't watch his footing, tumbling down what appeared to be construction site, probably abandoned without enough refunds. Plummeting down what looked like the sewers. He felt an incredible pain upon his right arm, realizing it could be broken. He cried out for help, but there was simply no one there to respond. There's no one who wishes to shed a tear, but he simply couldn't restrain such feelings no more. And that wasn't all, the device had been broken during the fall. Everything had simply turned against him in a matter of off a few hours. He couldn't simply give up, picking up his cell-phone.... No signal.... "Damn it, what's wrong with this day." He simply cried out, pissed off, he didn't knew he was actually throwing his last safe-keep toward the wall. A broken man, that's what he is. In fact he wished that the same fate of that old man could've happened to him. Yet in all of it's darkness, a voice crept up from behind. "There's no need to cry human. After all, it's no coincidence we meet... Call it fate!" Fate? Surely he must be delusional. But it sounded so real. "Who's there?" He tried to look into the darkness that reveled before him. It was no human.... But before he could make out what it was, he passed out from exhaustion. |

Kuroshi laid there in his bed, thinking, staring at the screen on his phone, and its two options. 'My strength...? Needed...?' he thought, in a little bit of disbelief. No one had ever said they needed him- well, except for those begging that they needed him to spare them, but that didn't much count for what this meant. Still, the hell was this? There's no way for someone to send such an elaborate text to his phone, and even if there was, there should be no way that his phone could display it properly. "What will you choose? Will you lend us your strength, or continue your everyday life?" The message suddenly spoke. That Kuroshi thinking; what was there to really lose? All that most of his days consisted of were sleeping, fighting, skipping, and more sleeping. This thing -IF it turned out to be true- was offering him a chance to use one of his only skills, and for possibly someone who might even give him a reward. If it turned out to be fake, then the worst he could think would happen, is somehow a virus would get put on his phone. Just then, the screen snowed out, but then started flickering another picture, but it kept moving, though it appeared to be a face. "What, you not gonna answer, and just sit on your weak lil ass, hoping that you don't go jumping into some puddle, and getting your lil b*tch feet wet!? Well!?!... Oh, I get it... Those kids weren't p*ssies... YOU ARE!!" The voice spoke, now very much deeper, but still sounding scrambled. Kuroshi stared at his phone in shock, as his phone just went and taunted him... then gave what it thought was proof, using something from his day. "Well, b*itch!? You gonna prove me Wrong!? Then DO IT!!" The voice yelled at him, just as it flipped back to the two options again. Kuroshi stared again, for a moment, before he made up his mind. He pressed 'Yes'. 'MotherF*cker... you think I'm just gonna let you run after that? Guess again, @$$!' Kuroshi thought, as he pressed the button. "Thank you, Your assistance is much appreciated." The first computerized voice spoke. "Lets get one thing straight here, I've got a few conditions for my servi-" Just then, everything went bright white, then pitch black, as he fell unconscious. |

After the day, night soon fell. Anwar had lay sleep in his bed. The device on his desk vibrated and beeped. This woke Anwar up. He examined it. "What the?" He said quietly. The vibrating got more vicious. The contraption shook it's self right out of his hands and on to the ground. As it did, his computer downstairs turned on. He checked to see if his mom had awoke. Thankfully she didn't. As Anwar looked at the computer, the screen turned red and a bunch of numbers flashed on it. "That might not be good." He thought. The screen of the computer soon started to, expand. It was coming out to Anwar. He stepped back from it, in fear and prepared for what ever was coming out. |

Marika put down her pencil and let it rest on her notebook, glancing at the device nearby. "Hey... do you remember the night we met?" she asked quietly, a hint of uncertainty in her voice. "Heh, how could I forget? You just about fell on your face when you heard me talk for the first time." the voice replied, laughing a little. ---------- The past... Marika stared at the device on her table for the 5 minutes, trying to process what had just happened. She had dreamed about it and now it was sitting there plain as day... or night in this case. Swallowing a little, she took a few steps toward her desk, looking at the device closely before slowly reaching over to pick it up. She moved it around slightly as she inspected every detail, walking over to her bed and sitting down as she continued to look. It was the thing she saw in her dream alright. The colours were even the same! She couldn't be believe it. "How strange... what did that voice say it was again... a... um..." she thought to herself, trying to remember her dream as she looked at her own dim reflection in the screen. "Something wrong?" a voice spoke, the screen flashing a little as it did. "Eeeeek!" Marika squealed in response as she fumbled and dropped the device in her panic, it landing on the bed with a soft thud. "Hey! Try to be more careful! This thing is important!" the voice scolded. Marika just stared at it with her eyes wide open. "You wanna know, don't you?" "Huh?" Marika responded, unsure of what the voice was on about. "I bet you wanna know. My name, that is." "Um... sure?" At this point Marika was more interested in WHAT it was rather than what it was called. "Heh, then I'll tell you. I'm Shoutmon! The man who's going to change this world one day! Make sure you carve that into your heart so you remember!" the voice said proudly, Marika not sure how to react to this at all. "Okay... but what are you?" she asked, tilting her head. "What am I... man, let me out of here and I'll show you. Use Reload! Just say Reload, followed by my name! And make sure you point it away from you!" he instructed, a hint of annoyance apparent in his voice. "Um... okay... Reload, Shoutmon!" Marika said firmly as she held the device out in front of her, the screen emitting a large flash of light that moved out onto the floor before her. As the light faded, the figure of a small red dragon with a distinct V-shaped forehead and a yellow scarf came into view. "Ahh, it feels good to be out of there~" the dragon spoke as it stretched a little before turning its attention towards Marika. "So you're our general, huh?" "General?" Marika asked, confused. "Yeah, General. That's why you've got a X Loader," Shoutmon explained. "Having one of those basically puts you in charge of an army." "An army? But I never signed up for a war! That was all just some silly dream!" the girl responded, slightly distraught. "Relax! There's no war on right now. Sure there's the odd Digimon that causes trouble but nothing serious," the dragon said with a shrug. "I think you were selected as a precaution more than anything. There's a good chance you won't even have to use that. He can be kind of over cautious at times to be honest." "Digimon? Is that what you are?" she asked, only seeming to get more questions as the conversation continued. "That pretty much sums it up, yeah." Shoutmon replied with a nod. "All of us are called 'Digimon'. In fact there's another one sitting in there right now. You might want to step outside before you reload him though." he added, motioning over to the X Loader once more. "Oh? Then how come he hasn't said anything yet?" Marika asked as she looked at the screen with a puzzled look. "He doesn't really talk much. Always been that way." Shoutmon shrugged. "I see..." she said with a nod. Digimon... the word was short for Digital Monsters. And that's exactly what they were: creatures made up entirely of data, yet they have emotions and free will just like anyone else. Marika had never heard of them before in her life, yet now she was supposed to lead an army of them? Just what were they expecting of her? ((This post totally could have gone on much longer, but I decided to cut it off there before we're here all day reading it. xD; I'll probably write the rest in one of my next posts~)) |

Roy moved towards the glimmer in the snow. He was half-tempted to just stand, walk away and leave whatever it was- the elevator had just broken on him and he was effectively trapped in a hospital's basement with snow pouring in. Then again, that was just it. He was trapped, so it's not like there was much else for him to do. So he just approached the glimmer and looked at it uninterested. Probably a glass shard or something of the like, he figured, frustrated. What he found, however, was completely different. It was a small device of a faint cyan color, complete with a small screen and some peculiar inscriptions. A portable digital clock? Maybe a beeper? he mused as he looked at it. He picked it up and dusted what little snow remained on it. The device's screen began flashing and making an eccentric beeping sound as he did, then shut down again. "Hmph, busted, huh?" he assumed. Regardless, he just shrugged and slipped into his pocket as he headed back into the elevator. "You're working better than this thing, though." He stood inside and sighed, and the device began flashing and beeping again inside his pocket. Roy was about to pull it out again and inspect it, figure out what's wrong with it, but before he had a chance to, the elevator closed up and began to ascend again. Someone's playing a prank on me, the young man concluded, his patience wearing thin. Whoever it is is just toying with me- odds are I'll end up stranded in yet another room at this point. The elevator stops and opens. To Roy's surprise, he's at the same floor where his father's room was. Say your goodbyes; we don't know when you'll be back, assuming you'll be returning at all. "Who's there?!" the young man yells after the voice stopped. The voice had been potent, collected, firm, female. It seemingly echoed within his own head and had interrupted all of his thoughts at once, leaving him somewhat distraught. We need you now, so come. We will be waiting for you. Once we meet up, she'll go with you and we can get right down to the source of the problem. "I'm not going anywhere..." he said, his voice toning down from the confusion and concern. "I'm trapped here and even if I weren't, I can't leave my father alone; my mother's not back yet." Hurry and say your goodbyes, the voice repeated and then a dead silence fell. Roy remained frozen still inside the elevator. When he finally worked up the energy to move, he took three steady steps out of the elevator and then ran towards his father's room as fast as he could, trying to contain an insane panic. A voice in my head is telling me all these things! he thought. I'm fiinally losing my head! And it had to be now of all times! He bolted the door open and ran in. "Dad!" "Hey, Roy. I thought you were getting something to..." his father stopped as he noticed the boy's look on his face. "What's the matter, son?" "I'm losing it..." he answered. "I swear a voice inside my head wants me to leave this place right now and go God knows where!" The man looked at his son shocked, only to sigh. "I knew you being here couldn't be healthy for you." "Is something the matter?" a nurse asked as she entered. "No, no. It's nothing," Roy's father replied. "My son spent most of his childhood in a hospital, hooked up to several machines at time. Nowadays, just being here brings about all that psychological trauma he endured." Roy sat down shakily as he listened nervously to his father. "I see, well, I'm afraid we're snowed in right now," the nurse responded. "But I could bring some tranquilizers to help your stay be more bearable until you can leave." "Uh..." is all Roy can utter to say. He was starting to feel lightheaded, and for the most part, he was sure his father was right. This may have all been a bit of mass hysteria induced by his phobia. "It... It's all right. I'll manage. Thanks anyway." The nurse nodded and headed back out. "Call me if you need anything." "Are you sure you'll be OK?" his father asked. "For the time being, I'll be OK. I promise," Roy answered with a quiver in his heart. he tried closing his eyes to relax a bit, only to fall asleep almost immediately. --- ((This MIGHT be my last post before we head to the Digital World.)) |

"Call it fate!" Call it fate?, then I'd rather revel within the local authorities. Even forced behind bars is better then this cruelty. Awakening in a matter of a few hours. What was that unnerving voice? The terrible pain stitched to his arm was unbearable. Looking outside, there's darkness, must've slept until dusk. "Hello.... Please can anyone hear me!" Fortune was about to smile upon the human. "Oy! need a hand?" With sort of what you'd expect from a puppy's tender eyes, looking casually upon his savior. From here on, Raven was taken care of. At first he was brought too the hospital. From there he received news that nothing had been broken, merely struck hard. Arriving outside after his treatment, the oddly kind and generous man had been waiting all along. "Good to see you've been taken care of. Now care to follow me outside, there's someone I wish you to meet." After dealing with the loss of his home, witnessing a murder, and nearly have his arm broken and if that wasn't all, this device of his had paid the toll upon the weight from Raven's clumsy act. Wasn't near the exit/entrance no. Instead both humans carried on, until they reached the back-alley. "What are we doing here?" Surely he wouldn't turn on him, but what you'd expect from such an unpleasant day. "Don't tell me you've hit that precious head of yours as well." The man rather annoyingly suggested, clearly with clear intentions, but why on earth would they meet with this character in such an awkward area of the city. That's when he realized. He could hear the other's voice. It was the exact same from yesterday. Turning around to see this appointed individuality. The shed of light that each of their flashlight's offered, revealed a most peculiar creature standing aloof. At first Raven felt an urge to retract, simply running away from everything. But in all it's modesty, it looked rather harmless. "Hey there..!" The human managed to utter out, passing an eye thoroughly from it's toe, up to the peculiar face. "Hi there... The name's Dorumon and I believe you hold something dare in that collection of yours." It was both fascinating, but alas what is he? And how did he? Picking up the device from his pocket, fairly broken or it was... "What happened, I could've sworn this was broken before I passed out." Whether he demanded an answer, or merely positively surprised, "That's yours for keeping." The rather helping fella, without much of a name continued to puzzle Raven's mind with poorly fashioned riddles. "Tell me something I didn't know, what has this to do with this creature, um Dorumon?" Tired and lack of patience tarried the humans lack of pertaining the situation he had become involved with. "We're a team chief." Dorumon encouragingly put it, "and that digital device confirms our bound, whether you like it or not." A hint of annoyance, clearly returning the favor staring upon his trainee, with mixed feelings. "A team?" Uttering out in confusion. "But I didn't knew what responsibility this thing had brought me too." "There's no return now, not unless you wish to abandon our holy mission to the digital world?" "Digital world... what are you?" Putting it bluntly. "We are referred as Digimons each one of us..." "What there's more of you?" The constant ongoing questions. "Yes!" Dorumon confirmed with a harsh return, already finding this plausible human out of order, putting it simply. No matter, this is when all things within the real world must be forgotten. Traveling to the digital world was a duty, that of a trainer and it's Digimon. "Can't I have nothing to say about this?" Receiving nothing more then a nod in return, expecting the worst. "Well...! it looks like I have nothing to loose, partner." Merely showing a shallow smile in return, before they all came to an agreement. //I suppose anyone is free to make their intro in the Digital world. I'll make my own entrance in the next turn. And sorry about long rant/post. I kinda got carried away.\\ |

((I'm gonna go ahead and get Roy there, then. |3)) "Wake up," spoke a female voice. "We don't have time to waste here." "What?" Roy asked groggily as he slowly sat up. He rubbed his eyes and let out a stifled yawn as he tried to adjust to the sudden bright light. When he finally comes to, he finds himself in the middle of a stone plain. The sky just overhead him is completely covered in gray clouds, but many rays of light come pouring out in between, one of them shining brightly on him. The young man quickly drags himself away from it and looks around him in shock. W-where am I? he wondered. "Get up," the same voice ordered. He quickly flung around and met the mysterious being that had been speaking to him. What he saw, however, defied his own belief. "I am Valkyrimon." "Valkyrimon..." he repeated as he looked at her in shock. Sitting on that plain right there, a refreshing wind blowing all around them non-stop; it felt real. But he looked at the entity before him and something insisted this was all a dream. "Let me see your Digivice," she ordered, her voice sounding strong, commanding and unrelenting. He stared at her in shock, confused as to what she was asking. "My Digivice?" he finally asked after a long pause. "I summoned a blizzard in your area on Earth just so it would reach your hands," she explained. "I could only bring you here with its power, and you can only unlock her power with it." Roy remained silent as he pondered on what she was telling him. Her? Her who? And how did she summon a blizzard? And... why does she speak of Earth as if it were someplace else? Aren't I on Earth anymore? He hesitantly reached into his pocket, now looking at her more with caution than with amazement, and he pulled out the device he had picked up earlier. "Is this it?" She took a few steps towards him to get a closer look at the item. He swallowed quietly and tried to get a hold on the situation, in case he wasn't just going insane anymore. "That's it," she replied a little gentler, though still sounding potent. She then knelt and placed a hand on top of the Digivice and as she slowly raised it, countless bits of data began decoding on the screen. By the time she withdrew her hand, the screen had started glowing, and something began to materialize from it. Roy's eyes widened as he witnessed what was happening. Valkyrimon stood, unflinching and simply observed as the object coming into existence took the shape of an egg. As its glow died down, a pink egg with a yellow crescent moon symbol was formed and steadily floated down until it settled on the human's lap. "Protect this egg while it hatches," Valkyrimon ordered, "and once it does, protect her with your life. Her last partner failed her miserably, and she has suffered enough." "B-but I-" "Worry not," Valkyrimon interrupted Roy as she begins to walk away. "She's a natural-born hero and will more than likely make an exceptional warrior. She won't disappoint you, so make sure not to disappoint her... or me." She reached the edge of the plain, then turned around and looked at the baffled boy one last time. "Oh, and welcome to the Digital World." The Digital World? Roy wasn't given the chance to react properly before Valkyrimon took to the skies and flew off within seconds, leaving him potentially stranded. |

Kuroshi stirred, rolled over, found a hard spot in his bed, went and rolled the other way, just to bump into another hard object. he opened his eyes, to find he had bumped into a boulder. 'Whats a boulder doing in my bed?' Kuroshi thought, before going to look at his ceiling... to only see the sky. "... Huh...?" he said out loud, wondering what the heck was happening. "Where am I...?" Just then, something slammed into the back of his head, making his head snap forward, before hanging a moment, in disbelief. Spinning in place, he swung his legs around, to sweep the feet of whoever punched him with one leg, before kicking them up with his other foot, go spin 180, then stand up, in an upper cut to... Whatever this thing was. The Impmon let out a couple noises, then a yelp of pain as these blows were dealt to him, before he landed on his back, face scrunched up in pain. Kuroshi stared at the Impmon in disbelief. he had never seen anything like it before, and just stood there, fists at the ready, waiting for it to get up... if he hadn't accidentally killed it. It was pretty small. "Aaagh, that really hu~rt!" the Impmon said, sitting up, and rubbing its chin. "The hell was that for!?" It then suddenly yelled at him. "I should be asking you the same thing!" Kuroshi yelled back at it. "Urgh, right, you're one for smacking first, talking never" Impmon sighed. Also doesn't like to try and use your tiny brain, before your muscles rea-" Impmon was saying, before getting up, i a turn-around fashion, to get a boot to his rear, sending him flying face first into the boulder Kuroshi rolled into earlier. ".... F..... M.... L....." Immon said, pulling his face off the rock. "Ok, before either of us try and kill each other any more, let's-" Impmon again started, turning around, rubbing his face, just when Kuroshi's stomach grumbled. Impmon just gave him an un-amused stare. "Very well, let's get us some food. There's a town nearby. If you want food, then you'll follow me. If you wanna wander aimlessly in this world, till you die of starvation, then be my guest." Impmon said, heading towards a town Kuroshi could see in the distance. the landscape looked like a wide expanse of just rock, only broken by the town, of ramshackle huts. Kuroshi was about to walk a different direction, when his gut growled again. he sighed, hanging his head, before following the Impmon. "Alright, so, care to explain what the hell is going on? you seem to have been waiting for me, to greet me- though your method was dumb as f*** - so, I wanna know, a couple things; 1. Where am I? 2. Who are you? and 3. There was some voice on my phone, before I passed out; any Idea who that was? Well, actually two voices, One of which', I need to find, so I can kick their @$$." Impmon's Eyes widened at that last part, but he quickly tried to fix his face. "W-well, no idea about those voices you heard, so I can't help you there, But, I'm known as Impmon, the Great, and Powerful." he said, giving this smug look, as he placed his fists on his hips. "Powerful my @$$." Kuroshi muttered. "As to where you are, you're in the Digital world, Home of all Digimon. Though, no other is as awesome as me." Impmon explained. "Please, please let this guy be that Voice. He's already pissing me off." Kuroshi muttered again. "You say something?" Impmon asked. "Nope." |

The first three days since the incident with the computer happened, have been difficult for Anwar. He's had to keep it hidden from his mom while he's been at school and from his sister who go through his things. Why won't he go see a teacher or something about the egg? Who knows? "What am I suppose to do with this thing?" He thought. He sat in his room, alone with the egg. It didn't need heat, for it stayed warm. It didn't roll around or nothing. It just sat up right ever since he got it. "Wonder what's in there?" He thought again. Was it a bird? A lizard? What? The suspense was killing him. He picked up the object his older sister left him. "What is going on?" He said aloud. The small device began to vibrate again. The screen on it began to light up. He looked at the egg, which was also shaking. "Uh-oh." He said. "That's either really good...or really bad." |

((Sorry for taking so long to post. It's been a crazy week at work. So, crappy intro post GO!)) Jonathan lay in bed, his eyes tracking patterns on the ceiling. Evening sunlight peaked through the gap in his curtains. It had been a long day at work and Jon wanted nothing more than to lay there in bed and just do nothing. It was at that moment that Jon's doorbell rang. Jon just lay there for a moment until he heard a second ring. Jon rose with a sigh, fixed his hoodie and headed for the door. He opened the door to see a man holding a package. "It's a little late to be delivering mail, isn't it?" asked Jon. "Just shut up and sign for this. I just want to go home." "Whatever." Jon signed for the package, close his door and quickly retreated back to his room. Without a moment's hesitation Jon began tearing open the package. There were only four things inside; a small metallic device with a screen and what looked like some sort of card reader, a stack of what Jon guessed were trading cards, a pouch to hold said trading cards and a note. Jon quickly pulled out the note and began reading. Dear nephew, The enclosed device is known as a D-Arc. It works with the cards I sent along with it. I trust you'll figure out how to use it with time. Please keep it safe. Sincerely, Uncle Stephan. Jonathan sighed, set the package and it's contents down on his desk and fell down onto his bed. His uncle worked for an electronics development firm and was always sending Jon new tech to try out. "What a pain." said Jon as he close his eyes and dozed off. --- Jon woke with a start when he felt something poke him in his side. "Hey, buddy, wake up." spoke a voice that Jon didn't recognize. As his eyes adjusted to the dark Jon was slowly able to make out the shape standing before him. It definitely wasn't human. As far as Jon could tell, it looked like some sort of small, purple dragon. The thing was clearly sentient, as Jon had already heard it speak, and running would be such a pain. Jon decided he'd try to communicate with it. "Just who, and what, are you? And why are you in my house?" questioned Jon. "The name's Monodramon. I'm a Digimon. And as for why I'm in your house, I came to enlist your help in my fight against the evils of my world." "Well, Monodramon, I fail to see why you would want my help." Monodramon walked over to Jon's desk and picked up the D-Arc. "This is why. With this you can help me become stronger. Strong enough to defend my world." "Sounds like too much of a hassle." "Please, Jon, you're the only one that can help me get stronger." "You're not leaving until I agree to help you, are you?" said Jon as he stood up from his bed with a sigh. "Fine. What do I need to do?" "Take these and come with me." replied Monodramon, handing Jon the D-Arc and the cards. Jon clipped the D-Arc to his belt. Then he slipped the cards into their pouch and clipped that to his belt too. "Alright, Monodramon, where are we going?" "Just wait for it..." "What?" "Wait for it..." Suddenly the D-Arc flashed a bright white light and Jon blacked out. His last thought were of how much he regretted agreeing to help Monodramon. |
