Hey, just wanted to know, what movies are you looking forward to this year of 2012? For me, I'm looking forward to The Amazing Spider-man, The Avengers, Ghost Rider: The spirit of Vengance, Tyler Perry's: Good Deeds, and Chronical, although it's already out. What are hoping to see this year?

At the moment the only movie I'm really looking forward too is The Hobbit.
But that's just because I'm a huge LOTR's fan, And I'm talking about even before Peter Jackson came along.

I still can't use this.

A lot of animation this year: Ghibli's The Secret World of Arrietty, Aardman Animation's Pirates! Band of Misfits, Pixar's Brave, and Dreamworks' Rise of the Guardians. I'm also leaning towards Disney's Wreck-it Ralph depending on how the trailers look.

Live action wise, I'm dying to see Prometheus. And of course, The Avengers will be my shameless popcorn flick fare. That's about it right now.

Oh yeah, and The Cabin in the Woods.

The Hunger Games, The Dark Knight Rises and The Secret World of Arietty.

Might watch Pixar's Brave, too, though that depends on what I hear about it.

Let's just hope the Scott brothers know what they're doing with Promethus though.
I will be very disappointed if it's just another Alien movie.
Not that there's nothing wrong with the Alien series.
I love em'.
That's the only thing I'm looking forward to this year.
Why?
Because the film industry hasn't come up with anything worth my time since Billy Madison and Heat.
That's why.

Wake up and smell the maple nut crunch.
Wasn't there another thread with this same topic????????
It's a mystery folks.
It's all folked up.

I object to your claims
Might give Brave a shot, as well as the fourth Ice Age that's supposedly coming out this year.

I've also heard recent talks about Machete: Kills.
Though it may not be coming out this year it is way past the green light.
Excellent.

What? You're thinking of seeing a movie just for the fact that its Anime?

Oh no, let's just not even consider the fact that it was made by one of the greatest film directors and animators who brought us Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Ponyo, among many other great films. Nope.
Because its an animated film from Japan, its all worth seeing just to support your inner weeaboo.

Sorry. I just had to say something about that statement.
Where the hell is Final Fantasy X HD?!

I had forgotten about the new Ice Age, mostly because I've yet to see any promotional stuff for it. All I know was that I saw a mostly empty article about it on Wikipedia many, many months ago.

If it does come out, I think the possibility of me catching it on the big screen is higher than that of me being able to attend to the ones I already listed. XD Mom's a big Ice Age fan.
