You see movies like Taken, for example, and you don't really realize how real it is... I know myself and most people probably pass if off as movie non-sense or over exaggerated movie stuff but I was really surprised to learn how much it goes on in this world and ok in 3rd world countries it makes sense somewhat but I was shocked when I found out it was very prevalent in the United States and in such quantities! It amazes me how most people, including myself, just go on with life not knowing this even exists. They keep this highly under wraps and it's a big business... Sex sells, bad people go where the money is, and it isn't even recognized. This is a Christian article but even those who do not believe in Christ's teachings can surly agree that this needs to be stopped and brought to the public's attention! What can we do, as a people, to help prevent this and does anyone here have heart for people in need? Does anyone help out the community? Geez, it is quite sad. In a way, I feel sorry for those sex workers, in to get the money anyway.

This week in class we focused on the human trafficking and sex slave industry. What a strange coincidence! And yeah, a lot of sex workers get trapped in a room and don't get any pay at all, and no contact with the outside world unless one of the clients happens to help them. *Walks into room* *Pulls out gun* *Time to ambush the traffickers!
