For the longest time, I have been searching for an active Sonic site, but was always afraid that I would get bashed and trolled on in previous other forums I have been too. I read through the forum and you all look like the nicest and most "normal" group of people I have ever met. Personally, I have been searching for about 5 years and I dear hope to Robotnik that I would feel right at home. I am seriously looking forward to making new friends in a happy and welcoming environment. My name is Dakota, aka MysticShaid or MS what most call me, and I want to say that I plan on making my visit here, enjoyable to not only myself, but you guys as well. If you wanted to continue reading, you may; it is about my myself. I you don't that is fine, I find me to be boring anyways  I have been playing Sonic for about 10 years now and I wish I had wished playing sooner. I grew up on Nintendo consoles and not Sega one however. So you can say my first Sonic games would be the Adventure series on the Gamecube. With friends to play when I was in Elementary and Middle school, I was hooked and, metaphorically, in love. However I seemed to be the only person out of all my friends, even ones I met through online, still only play Sonic (for the most part). I am in college currently, working on my basics and still play Sonic at least a couple times a week. To be fair, I do love Nintendo titles (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc), third parties (No More Heroes, Madworld, Harvest Moon, etc), and the Xbox 360. Sadly I do play first person shooters, (COD, Battlefield Halo), though it's not my specialty and I only play just as a nice time with friends. But I also enjoy games like Fallout, Borderlands, and more. I am just actually getting in JRPG's, like trying to finish Final Fantasy XIII before XIII-2 is released. I am welcome to play with any of you, as long as you are polite, respectful, and not shouting in my ears all the time. That is, if you want to play along side me. And before I end my painfully long introduction, I want to end on a Sonic fanboy note. I consider myself a "sane" fanboy. I do not draw disturbing fanart, such as hentais and rude gesters (Hell, I can't even draw  ). I do not rant on about how Sonic was only good before the 3D jump or the new voice actors suck or that he can fly without the Emeralds or something stupid like that. In all honesty, I kind of prefer the 3D games over the Genesis ones. That's not to say I love Sonic Next Gen, but I do not think it's the worst game ever. I kind of like it a bit actually. To me, Sonic the Hedgehog has and still is something near and dear to me. I love Sonic for being, well Sonic. Personally I am very open-minded to a lot of things. But I do have my opinions about certain things as well. If you want to ask any questions, drop a PM to me and I will get back to you ASAP.Also I don't want to sell out or anything, but I do also have my own Youtube channel which houses Let's Plays. Welcome fella, I agree with your intro, and most other forums have some wierdos who refuse to acknowledge certain continuities or games, While I do prefer the 2d games I do enjoy the 3d ones too, particularly Adventure 1 & 2 and Generations (though I do wish the Underground cartoon never happened). |

Dont call me KitKat or KCakes, those nicknames are reserved for best friend status. Speaking of which, would you like to be friends? I love new friends, the more the merrier in my opinion. Well, a little bit about moi. I love kittens and I love cake. (brownies and muffins are delicious too.) You can normally find me around the Role Play Garden (which you should totally check out if youre into that sort of thing) and sometimes the Shack (which you should also check out, at your own risk). Oh and if you see me *breaking pencils* in the Shack, I suggest you just steer clear of me for the time being :3 Well, I guess thats it. Welcome to our fair community.
