This project may seem simple, but I think that it has the potential to be huge. The basics: the forum as an Rp. Too be specific, I mean turning =SB= in to an actual city. The different zones could be refered to as districts, and the topics would be city blocks, lined with threads/buildings. Most obviously enough, the members of the forum would roam the streets of the city as their avatar, or main character. I still think that there are things to sort out, however. That's why I'm putting this up for ideas. ...Well? What are your thoughts? Edited by Amarok, Feb 10 2012, 02:06 PM.

Well I found this an interesting idea. I guess a plot would be nice instead of just letting people roam free. Having people has there avatars would be hard, since having a theme going on is so normal. About the phisical idea of this place I always imagine it as a huge island with the boarders full of palm trees, a golden statue of Modern and Classic Sonic and several city block with a palace/court in the middle. I officially have too much free time on my hands but that how I see it. Just a suggestion anyway. >_> |

this sounds pretty cool. Sign me up for this!! also, i can sketch up a couple of ideas for the physical look of SB....is that ok with anyone? UPDATE: I'm sarting on said sketches, got to the main part of the "Kingdom" i guess you can call it that...Planning on drawing seperate areas, one for each area of the forum, right now the =SB= Empire area, and pretty soon the other areas... It's actually supposed to take on the look of a medium-sized city, but I'm glad for the sketches, Aaron! As for the avatar thing, Prinny, that's why they have to be their avatar, and not a theme, unless it's for dressing up in the RP. As for a plot, I haven't any ideas yet. That's why this is here. |

Call me PT. Well I may have a plan for the story. In this idea, people would log in from there computers and actually enter the net to visit the site. Call sci-fi or what its just a set up. Everyone starts in the shack, calm just hanging out. Then the light go off and a big sound is heard out side. There we find a creature with a strange, ever changing both paint in black and white (A bug) with turns all connections down, leaving the sky in a black color with no light, keeping people from logging off. On the outside mods and other would try to open the website again (not a story thing just a you-don't-have-any-support-thing). On the inside people would try and fight this entity, plus an unknown number of virus that where destroying the city. Kind of a neat idea, right? |

Well, that's what i'm going for, actually. I had just completed the look of the first zone, which is called "The =SB= Empire." And i kinda took some ideas from PT; I did draw those statues of Modern and Classic Sonic, so thanks for that PT!!! (Although i'm no great shakes at drawing them...you'll see when i post the first image up lolz) also...If you like, when i do post them up, feel free to update some things in the pic.... Well, PT, if there's going to be logging in, then I think that the bug should be a little more like a poltergeist. It'll be formless, but there will be times when it solidifies to do a certain string of programming. Someone in the RP might be able to stop for long enough to figure out that when there's a virus, there's a programmer. (At least, that's what I hope would happen.) Anyway, that's only an idea. I'm actually not so sure about the logging in concept. |

yeah, i'm kinda wondering how that'll work too. I mean, The logging in concept can only go so far, and not to be rude or anything, but it kinda reminds me of the "Virtual Reality" RP. |

Kind of a mix between Megaman BN and the transporter from Star Trek. Except you could be who you want on the net. "Poltergeist". That the word I was looking for. And its just an idea. Suggestion would be nice. |

 ok..this is the first sketch i did for the first zone of the realm. I know, I know....The image quality on my webcam SUCKS. Tomorrow, I'm gonna scan it on the school's computers, and hopefully make it better. Anyways, to describe it, In the center is a fountain. on the top of that fountain is a hedgehog-shaped head, and on the sides are statues of Modern and classic Sonic (Kudos to PT for suggesting that idea!!) on the bottom is a gate with the =SB= Symbol on it, with a fence that has some palm tree posts in between, The information kiosk is the floating TV thing right by the classic Sonic statue, in the background is the =SB= Support Center, the palm tree by there is the entrance of the now-gone Hidden Palace Zone (RIP HPZ) and next to that =SB= support center is the Knothole Welcome center, and next to that is a billboard for S.O.A.P. Sneakers (SA2 players will get that, i'm sure lolz) and a blimp with the "Got Ring?" Slogan is in the sky, right above the support center. But yeah, that's the gist of it. |

...That pine tree off to the side just gave me an idea. Since the hidden palace zone is gone, I'm pretty sure that Metallix won't take offense to my changing it of purpose. The hidden palace zone is now the office and strategy room of the mods of =SB=. This brings up another issue. If all goes well, I'll request Metallix's appearance. He doesn't need to control his character if he doesn't want to, I just want permission for his character to be in the story. |

I also thought about Metallix in making an appearing in the story. Basically. Stuff happen > Stuff tries to kill players > Mettalix show up and saves them damaging the creature and you initially run while the fight goes on. That need to be rethink but its an idea. Mike @ The city is looking good so far. I'll be waiting for the better scan. |
