Do u realize How many times Uryuu Loses HIS powers!? just to go Cry like a lil B*tch, and some old geezer go, "Here, one of a kind Artifact, givesyer powers back. Also, if you do This, you get an Epi-Boost, but loose yer powers again, so don't-" *Does it* "... -.-'...  WHY'D YOU DO THAT!!? *Sighs* Fine, have another. Same deal as last time."   It gets annoying after the fifth or so time. Including the fullbring arc, with Rukia showing with the ghost lightsaber thing, that only makes him getting his Powers (Including first time, in episode 1) *Counting* Only makes four times, of him getting his powers BACK.Also, in my opinion, I Gotta Say, the Vizard are pretty freaking epic. I one time just randomly made an OC for it, Basically, Is a gambler. Shikai Release; "Spin, Roulette!" Effect; Copies one of any Shikai he's seen before, randomly. Bankai; Name: Roulette Jackpot! Effect, same as Shikai, except copies Bankais. Vizards mask Equip: Pulls down from center of forehead. Powers: All normal Vizard mask boosts; Hollow Roulette. Quick Explanation; you all know how each hollow has its own seperate power, varying by its mask. Effectively, He grabs the side of his mask, and pulls sideways, his mask starts spinning, and roulette's out a hollows mask he's seen, getting its power as well. So, Effectively, this guy would be a pretty dang random wild card. everything he does, would be unpredictable, but pretty freaking epic. Your guys' Thoughts? Also, to All Bleach Fans, The Fullbring Arc is an Official Arc, Leading into the Final Arch, the Thousand Year War, Starting right after the FullBring Arc. Wait, it's STILL an ongoing series? After how many seasons/chapters exactly? I mean bloody hell, this is getting ludicrous. =s I'll admit though, I haven't watched Bleach, for similar reasons as to why I've not yet watched Dragonball Z and Naruto. There's only so much asspull-plots, asspull-powers and super forms, generic shonen... *gestures aimlessly* shonenity and such that I can take before I just get bored. I guess I just can't get into a series that's all about a bunch of guys all trying to out-badass each other while still maintaining the same status quo throughout nine thousand seasons or whatever. Anyways. Just wanted to provide a little bit of outsider's perspective for the sake of discussion. =3 |

I think they should of stopped with that last fight against Ichigo and Aizen. Sure, they could of kept the whole bit that he'd lose his powers eventually, which wouldn't be a horrid ending as it was stated that they wouldn't know when exactly he'd lose all of it. But now to continue it? Baaah, not liking it. Its just too weird. Hell, I would of taken a weirder plot like Ichigo's sister somehow becoming a shinigami. THAT would make more sense then 'Oh hey, wanna get your powers back? Go through some random BS and fight this dude and go through different looks and abilities and you'll get what ya want so yup.' Meeh whatever. Like I said, I MIGHT continue to watch it, depends where it goes and how they plan it out. Also, the reason why I thought(more like want to strongly believe with ever fiber in me) that this was a filler, was because it was just so... Off... Bah, whatever. SIDE NOTE: Your character contradicts itself. Or at least, your explanation. Yes, hollows have different powers. However, they can not manifest their powers fully by simply just being a hollow. Most hollows are mindless, thus they are unaware of any powers they may have. There are only a few hollows that hold onto certain obsessions, as well some hollows develop an intellect so they can speak and focus more on their obsession(most likely the reason why they became a hollow.) So to say that your character obtains a hollow's powers simply by looking at their mask doesn't make sense. For you also states that whatever Shikai your character SEES, that is one of the many options he'll choose. Honestly, how often would your character see a Shikai, or even a Bankai for that matter. To which, I bring this point up again. Hollows don't know of their powers until they start to consume more souls and evolve out of that mindless state, so how could your character be equipped with powers he has never seen? I could also go into other nit-picking stuff like mentioning that each zanpakuto different, there is never a zanpakuto that is the same. The reason this is, is because a zanpakuto is a spirit, not just a tool or a weapon. In order for your character's power to work, they'd have to copy the zanpakuto's spirit. Which, the only ones to have done that are the scientist of Bleach, even then Mod Souls were used in order to do this. But, that would be me just being picky. Its not a power I would ever give to any of my characters, but if done right it can be a pretty cool power. |

Wha? I think Bleach and Naruto is fine? These powers are perfectly explained, and I loved them. I haven't quite read past the Aizen fight though. Although part of me hopes the series after the big fight doesn't go on too long. I'm waiting till the manga over here comes out, same for the anime. Though MoD, the filler is nowhere near that long. I rather have deep and interesting filler plots then horrible, mini-series of filler plots like in Naruto. So yeah, PICK WHICH YOU WOULD HAVE. D: |

@LiveFree: Hmm, I guess I see what you're saying with the hollow powers, and such, so I guess if I had to change, yet keep it, I'd probly say he'd have to see at least most, if not all of the power, to be able to use it. A note on the Copying Zanpakutous, It doesn't copy every aspect of it, it only temporarily copies its shape and powers. Example, if he saw renjis, Ikkakku, and Yumichika's Shikais, he'd be able to Change to one of them, and have the shape, and powers. If he got renji's, it'd still do the Extendy thing. If it was Yumichika's, it'd still to the spirit pressure drain thing. He may not know of the powers full extent, unless he were to go and practice with each one, just like the actual users have to. |

@Akashi: Hmmm, that seems to make more sense now... However, he'd have to do a TON of training if he wishes to unlock said zanpakuto's powers. I mean, from the sound of it, he wouldn't be able to just say 'lets work on zabimaru today,' since the selection seems to be completely random, meaning to actually bring out zabimaru again would be a 1 in (so and so) chance. Simply put, it would be extra rare that your character would end up using the same zanpakuto ever again. At least, that is what I am understanding here. So, even if your character managed to work his butt off on unlocking a zan's powers, the chances of him ever using that same zan would be slim to none. Now, I'm not saying this is a bad thing, as it seems kind cool, as it serves as a plus and minus, and blessing and a curse. The fact that at any moment he could whip out a zan that he has worked on and totally kick, yet the chances of this happening aren't so great, is pretty scary/cool. Think about it, telling your opponent that you are literally leaving the current battle up to chance is epic and awesome. Cool concept, once again, if done correctly. Now, this can get a bit weird, to which his back story would have to some into play. Should you introduce this character into a rp, you'd have to list the zans he could possibly bring forth. Of course, the large this number is, the more random the selection will be. The smaller the number, the higher the chances are of him bringing forth the same zan more than once. Now, is there a limit on how many times he can bring forth another zan, or once his own zan does this that is it, until it is put into its sealed state again. |

I Hadn't thought of any back story for him, other than him having a serious Gambling Problem (Lol), So yeah, I could work on that. As for how often he can change, I hadn't really thought of that much, but I guess having to put it back into the sealed state, even if only for a brief moment could work, and, again, is a blessing and a Curse. The fact he can pull out an entirely new Zanpakutou, in a matter of a couple seconds, would be a rather intimidating thought, yet, it would also mean, that SOMEONE would eventually realize this couple second gap, and attempt to make use of it. ...
