I never really focused on the Manga but I was a pretty good fan of the older anime and the games, which I still play and watch every now and then. I was wondering(more like hoping) that there were at least a few mild fans of Yu-Gi-Oh that could spark up some decent conversation about it. (However, I feel that I've already seen a topic like this before.) |

I used to love the original series as a kid. Watched the hell out of it. Wouldn't mind doing it again sometime. I didn't really play the card game all that much due to the fact that cards were expensive. Still I remember grabbing the Pegasus starter deck. Because hell yeah Toon Monsters. I kind of stopped watching around GX since frankly the series annoyed me. What little I've seen of 5Ds has been alright though. Still not as great as the original. The manga on the other hand is great. To start with it doesn't have a lot to do with the card game at all but I kind of like that. Yugi is represented as the king of all games and Yami is a lot more cruel to begin with. I hear he mellows out in the end though. I do remember one chapter where there was this pretty awesome yo-yo fight going on. Loved that one. |

I remember seeing one or two episodes of Season 0 where he played more than just the card game. The cards were pretty expensive, I didn't buy them much but the games are pretty fun since you can experience good cards and gameplay without shelling out hundreds of dollars for cards. I do like more when Yami's a bit more cruel and I miss him Mind-Crushing people, lol. The glass shatter effect from Season 1, along with Dark Magician's was awesome. But just like Pokemon, they focused a bit too much on friendship and light and such. Edited by Eren Jaeger, Jan 28 2012, 10:17 AM.

I always have and always will love Yu-Gi-Oh. I have cards from all the series. The original, GX, 5D's, and Zexal. I liked 5D's most out of all of them. |

I loved Yu-Gi-Oh and still do, actually. I try to watch the original series when I can. I never collected the cards, but my Dad did and he gave me a few of his after he stopped collecting them and playing card games with them and stuff. I used to be in love with the original series and GX. Lol, yeah. I want to start collecting the original cards again but my Dad says they're too expensive, along with Pokemon cards. |

Lol, I have about 5-6 themed decks between and close to 300 cards. But I know that out of all 4 seasons, even though I didn't pay attention much to any beyond the original seasons, my favorite, BY FAR, was the Seal of Orichalcos. It was just too epic. Favorite duel was probably the first round between the Pharaoh and Rafael when the Pharaoh played the Seal and lost. That was an interesting twist. Then when Yugi dueled Yami and he used the Seal, loved it. Almost loved the very last duel. Good stuff. |

I don't think I seen that episode of the season. I loved the Shadow games season. Merick was just so badass. |

Yep, that'd be Bakura. But Marik was a pretty good villian. I played him in one of the old school games before but my starting hand against him was 3 pieces of Exodia, Sangan, and Witch of the Black Forest... safe to say I won. Lol, never been more lucky before. |

I've always hated the Exodia monster. A puzzle card? Really? Useless if you only have one piece of him. The God cards are cool. But, sucks when you can't even use 'em in a game. |

They have made versions of them now that can be used in game, but they are nowhere near as strong as they are depicted in the anime. |

The ones I have are. The attack and defense points on them are either XXX, ~~, or some other type of marking. |
