Posts: 6,570 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,063 Joined: February 19, 2008 Xbox Live Gamertag: The Stig Pwnz Steam ID: mod1982	Long-awaited review of SG by Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation fame Normally I enjoy his videos, even when he completely destroys a game I love(Eve Online, I'm looking at you in particular). I don't find myself agreeing wholeheartedly with this review if I'm honest. The reviewer has been set against Sonic since he turned 3D and while isn't as bad as only reviewing the game after only completing one or two levels, I honestly don't think he's viewed it with an open mind. I'll save my other thoughts for a later post, right now I just wanted to share this(supposedly) high profile review of a game that many of us have been playing for a while now, a game which the vast majority of us Sonic fans have been enjoying even in the long term.

I still can't use this. Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	Yahtzee reviewing a 3D Sonic game with an open mind is like asking him to review a new Mario game with an open mind... Lul. Anyway, his review was enjoyable for what it was. I certainly laughed a few times, but I'm going to have to go back to his Unleashed review to get a better bead on his opinion for Unleashed style gameplay other than it being too much not-Genesis.

Anyway, haven't seen anything from Yahtzee for a while, so I decided to watch the video. His review is OK, you expect him to take some sort of dislike to a modern Sonic game as he is just that type.
