Simple. What started your Sonic fandom? Mine was when I first go a Genesis(also my first console ever) with Sonic 2. I played it to death! Was a great game and I was drooling over screens of Sonic 3. I became a mega fan once I got Sonic 3. Soon after I got Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 1. |

I first came across him at my local Jewel, when I saw an issue of the comic by Archie in the stands. (I believe it was issue #32) I picked it up because I was spellbound by Patrick Spaztine's work on the cover, and I loved the story. So after reading a couple of issues, I picked up the 1st game at a local movie rental place and I've been a fan since. |

When I was little, I played Sonic TH. But, it was just for fun. Then soon after, Sonic Adventure released. Looked awesome. Plus, at that time I was in to games like Sonic. I bought it, loved it, and got scared of Perfect Chaos. Afterwards, I've been loving Sonic. |

I was a little kid when I first saw Sonic 2 on display in a Price Costco superstore (kinda like Sam's) and I was mesmerized by the demo. every time my parents went shopping I would just stand there for hours while they got their errands done. I guess they finally bought it for me and I beat it after a month or so. soon after I got Sonic 1, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Spinball... Somewhere in all that I found the SatAM show and I'd been recording it up until they took it off the air. I cried, I'll admit. I'd been hooked on the Archie Comics series ever since the In Your Face issue and #24. since then I've bought almost every comic to date. |

In the middle of 2000, a relative of mine visited my house. He'd brought a dreamcast, along with sonic adventure. After playing it once, I was hooked, but then he had to leave, along with the dreamcast. I moved on away from sonic, then I seen an episode of Sonic X on the TV. I didn't particularly like it, but it did have some use, as it conincided with a magazine I read at the time (around 2003), which, on it's cover CD, had a copy of Sonic Adventure DX demo. I played it, and had fun, but a loss of the cd made me forget about it again. Then, sometime in 2006, I bought Sonic Adventure DX for my PC, and yet again enjoyed it. It wasn't long until I got broadband, where my online forum presence begins. I started by making fangames. LOTS of fangames. Many were never finished. Then I came across a forum called Sonic Cage Dome, where I registered. Soon after that, it had forced me out of my old inability to write properly on forums, and I started visiting them regularly. That's everything. |

Geez. Where did mine start. I remeber that I did watch Sonic the Hedgehog, the very first TV series they did. I even remeber the episode. It was on a video to. They actually captured Sonic, and put him in some sort of cell. But then Sonic tricked scratch and Grounder with a comic. Somthing like that anyway. I even lied to my Mum so I could watch it a second time. After that I always watch Sonic Underground on SmTV, every saturday morning. I think the first ever Sonic game I bought, was Sonic Advance, back in early 2002. So I followed those. But all the games where still on the gamecube, otherwise I would of probaly have bought SA2. But then Sonic Heroes came out, and I got that straight away. But after that I guess my Sonic fandomw died away a little. I never bothered with Shadow, and I still have never played it till this day. Then the PS3 was delayed, so I never got 06 once it was released. But then the PS3 became expensive, and overdelayed. So I got an Xbox. But wasn't till about 6 months after that I decided, why not get Sonic 06. I'll decide if its an epic fail myself. Which it wasn't really. Just too much bad press really. So of course, 06 really rekindled my like for Sonic. |
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save | |

I believe I got into Sonic by watching the cartoons when I was little. At that point, I was hooked. I played the games, I read the comic books, I even still have a Sonic doll I got when I was about 7. Good times. ![]() Now I'm 22. And still follow Sonic as much as I did then. |
