The Dragon Whisperer
When the first bullet sped through the air, Zen leapt into action. His hand gripped tightly on Calor's shoulder and yanked him down behind some seats, underneath the table.

"You're an idiot, you know that?" He snarled at the feline. "A real idiot." He rolled his eyes. He didn't even have a gun to protect himself with. Nyath had leapt to the other side, slinking around the other seats as he was trying to edge closer. Bullets tried to make their way through the fabric, but they couldn't yet, thankfully.

"We gotta get out of here." Zen murmured as Calor made mewling sounds, whimpering.

"I-I didn't know Zen, I really didn't! You know how it is, I have rent to pay, a-" he was cute off with a sharp blow to the face from Zen's hand.

"Put yourself together, you stupid feline!" He snarled at him. "If you panic, neither of us will make it out of here." He glanced back and flinched his head back when a bullet just whisked past his face. He cursed. "We're stuck." he murmured.

Just at that point, the police arrived on scene. The two men, not really wanting to die, or be taken into jail, made a break for it. They ran and vaulted the counter, running through the kitchen out the side door. Down the alleyway they went, and pretty much disappeared out of sight, into the shadows. They knew the routes of the city like the back of their hand.

The police burst into the restaurant, guns poised and ready to fire. By then, Zen had dragged Calor towards the back of the place, and out the door. They found themselves just around the back, and could hear the sirens of the police near the front. It was some sort of large courtyard behind them, with a large fountain. Peculiar for a back entrance. He had a feeling it was usually locked.

The wolf didn't say a word as he forcefully led Calor by the arm. He glacned around as they entered an alleyway, before he punched the cat right in the face. The feline yowled in pain.

"You f-!" Zen was about to swear, and punched him again. "God damnit Calor! I didn't know you were such a damn swine!" He yelled at the cat, who cowered.

"I'm broke, Zen! I don't even have money to pay for this month's r-" He was cut off again when Zen pulled him into a tight hug. The two's history was fairly linked, though brief.

They had met when Zen had been contracted to track the cat down, because he'd snitched on someone very dangerous to the police. The two had met, and pitying the cat, he had offered to get him a place to stay, to lie low, while he would say he was dead. And it had worked. That cat owed a debt to him ever since, and the wolf couldn't deny he had some sort of brotherly soft spot for the feline, at least wanting to know he wasn't dead.

The wolf pulled back from the hug. "Just...don't do that again, alright? You know you could have come to me if you're short. We're friends." He patted his friend's shoulder, who looked rather taken aback from the sudden hug.

"C'mon. I have a hotel room." The wolf ushered him along, not as angry and forceful as he was before. They kept to the walls, their eyes glancing around for anything. Zen spotted, as they went around the side of the restaurant, that someone had fallen from the balcony. But why? Everything seemed to be happening at once. With a shrug, he ushered his friend onwards.

In roughly 10 minutes, they entered Zen's apartment, and the cat flopped down.

"Dear god...that was tense." Zen sighed. "I'm gonna grab a shower. Make yourself at home." He went into the bathroom. Nyath had followed on invisibly, and then reappeared when Zen left the room. Calor yelped in surprise, and the wolf smirked to himself when he heard, knowing why.

After 10 minutes, he came out the shower, fully dressed again after drying himself down. "You alright?" He asked the cat. Calor grinned sheepishly, and nodded.

"I just have a graze...bullet just got me." he showed his elbow, that was mildly bloody from a rather severe graze.

"That doesn't look great." The wolf took some toilet paper and dabbed it on the wound gently, soaking up the blood.

"I'd suggest a bandage, but you should be okay." Zen smiled. Calor nodded and grinned.

"Thanks Zen...I owe you one. Again." He chuckled awkwardly as he lowered his arm.

"Don't mention it. We should rest..." He ushered the cat to lie on the bed. "I'll take the floor. It's no problem." He said, and shifted to lay on his back on the carpet. It was a warm room, so not bad to sleep in.

The wolf shifted to his side, closing his eyes as Calor shrugged, laying down and closing his eyes. Nyath curled up beside his master, the wolf, and purred a bit, falling asleep.

Sandopolis Act 2
The harrier and two felines where still slowly driving around, so they could find this petrol station. It was also, so they could save fuel. Rocky looked at the petrol gage, and noticed it was on empty. He was surprised the land rover was still going. But as he was getting his hopes up for finding fuel. The vehicle came to a halt. The canine hit the steering wheel in anger. He then looked at Akashi through the rear view mirror. “My car my have only two seats, but it had more fuel.”

Melissa could see the fuel station in the distance, but it looked like the owner closed it up, it did look empty inside. It seemed the owner was scared off because of the shots fired. The area they were in looked deserted, they were a few of the citizens still, but that was it. Other shops were closed too, and it looked like she as well, as Akashi and Rocky were stuck in the city until the next day.

The tiger looked ahead and saw two canines in a car parked up ahead. A husky and a wolf were staring ahead at the land rover. Melissa got out and walked up to their car. “Excuse me. Can you help us? Our car is out of petrol, and I was wondering if you knew any other stations, where we could fill it back up?” The feline looked around at the tall buildings, thinking that another fuel station might be hard to find. At least one that is open.

She then looked at both of the canines, and her attention was on the events what she heard about. “I heard there was some gun shots in this area. Do you know anything about it?”

Rocky stepped out of the land rover, and saw Melissa talking two the two canines ahead. Akashi got of the vehicle as well. He felt a little uncomfortable standing in the area, where the shots were fired. He wondered what it was all about. With the almost empty streets, and a lot of the shops closed.
The feline walked over to the harrier. “It looks like you may have to call a tow truck. It looks unlikely you will find fuel now.” Tiger got the backs out of the vehicle. “We may have to find a place to stay over night.”

Christmas is back again

It was with great relief they made it out from there, without further situations stirring up around their necks.
Comfortable turning on the radio, upon listening to recent event's in town, but also around the woman who's ether taken suicide or been killed.

{Radio} "There's been not one, but several gun episodes reported, just recently at one of the restaurants, and only this morning we had an rather ugly situation with a car explosion in the middle of town. We can confirm one dead, while the other had been strangely rescued, and taken away from the scene before any law enforcers managed to arrive."

"There's also a woman that's ether taken suicide by jumping from her balcony, at 7th floor from her apartment. Though from the facial expression it almost seems like she's been strangled to death. The Police wishes not to comment on the cause until further notice. Mira out, back to some music."
Finn's preferred radio channel

{End Radio, while music continues}

"I could've sworn her throat had a hole straight through." Yes, paying much to details has been her foremost etiquette of late.
"You think it may has to do something with the water?" Checking upon the wolf, before turning a brief moment through the window, feeling the rhythm from the music, while tapping two fingers on her knee.

Shortly after, they find them self at one of the gas stations, bringing supplies with them back home.
The place all abandoned, with no one to watch our for the representative customers.

//"Hello?"\\

No answer. "Hello, anyone?" More so, for further drawing attention.
While Finn carries out, shopping the husky starts looking around casually around the area.
Trespassing not allowed, "must be the office." turning on the handle, pushing the door towards her, upon entering, her reaction ended with her stumbling backwards.
"Oh shit!... Finn... You'd might wanna see this."

On the floor, right next to his office-chair lies a man around the thirties, looking similar to that woman she had barely brought her eyes upon earlier.
Right next to him in his hand, a half filled glass of water, or what's left of it anyway, being tipped over.

"We'd best be leaving before someone arrives, finding our presence suspicious. Heading on outside, a female approached the two.

//“Excuse me. Can you help us? Our car is out of petrol, and I was wondering if you knew any other stations, where we could fill it back up?”\\

"I bet there's one a bit further down the street."
Sasha confirms, before inquiring Finn to follow, not wanting to stay there, even for a second.
Actually that familiar sound approaching from the distance. Seems someone must've taken it suspicious after calling the owner, without answering, and asked the local enforcers to check on the local gas station.

The approaching car was still a fair way in the distance driving at a slow speed judging by the low engine note, taking advantage, heading back inside grabbing some more stuff wouldn't hurt.

Not to be accused of looting, having the law on their backs was the last thing on the wolfs mind, left the money on the counter, peering over again out of curiosity to see what was there.

"Oh shit!... Finn... You'd might wanna see this."

Hearing Sashas voice, headed outside scanning for her, seeing th edoor open towards the office hurried over

"See wha...?"

The stench got him first, cutting off his words almost gagging at the corpse looking down at the scene in front of them.

"We'd best be leaving before someone arrives"

"Yeah good idea, this is messed up!" The Jags boot opened with the flick of the keyfob, launching the gear into the back saw that the approching vehicle has made it, sort of looking at the way it was abandoned. Out of petrol probably.

“Excuse me. Can you help us? Our car is out of petrol, and I was wondering if you knew any other stations, where we could fill it back up?”

Sasha answering before he had chance to speak Finn eyed the figures up curiously, the place was deserted and when there was something open there would be no chance of getting anything. Everyone was paniking if they stuck around.

“I heard there was some gun shots in this area. Do you know anything about it?”

"Say where are you guys heading anyway?" The wolf asked cautiosuly.

Turning to see the others getting out the Landy, instinctivly felt his hand go for the pistol flicking off the safety seeing the feline head towards them

“It looks like you may have to call a tow truck. It looks unlikely you will find fuel now.”

"You'll have a job buddy, place is a ghost town. Of which, we're off. Sounds like the old bill's coming and i don't want to stick around with what i've got in the motor"

Sasha urging him to follow inside the car Finn felt best to get away soon as poss. It was a pretty tense situation, they could easily out do them, did they have weapons too?

"You want petrol? I got some" Leaning into the window where Sasha had got in asked for her to get out, but not before slipping the Desert Eagle to her first. Whispering in her ear "They try anything funny, shoot"

Heading to the rear lifting out a big jerry can offered it to the crew

"Fifty quid. And i got more where it comes from too"

Never missing an opportunity for money, it might be wise for collateral, sticking together maybe get them seen to first before he and the woman he was growing close to once more would go down.

The news the following morning depicted a scenario of disaster. A gunfight in a small restaurant, one Zen himself had caused. People dying out in the streets, clutching at their throats. What was suddenly causing all this panic?

In a way, it was none of Zen's business, but yet, he felt it his duty to investigate the cause. He was up early, even before anyone else. Calor was sleeping peacefully on the sofa, a blanket laid over his slumbering body, with the young green Dragon curled up neatly beside the furniture, a green, warm ball. Zen decided to scout the area while they were sleeping. There was food in the fridge anyway.

Leaving the humble hotel, he took to the streets, wearing his newly found jacket and the clothes from yesterday. He noticed the hem of his jeans was torn from a bullet, but it would be fine. He shrugged the hood up to hide his face.

There was various police areas dotted around the vicinity, but it was the small restaurant he wanted to see. Taking a quick sharp left into an alleyway, he cut though towards where he thought he remembered the place being.

Sure enough, he found it. The whole area was cut off to the public, not that there was many on the streets anyway. The recent news had people cowering in their homes, worried about something happening to them. It was possible that it might be their demise, Zen pondered. He cast his eyes over the building. Glass was shattered, bullet holes in the wall. Forensics were already out sweeping the place. No one was killed, but they were hoping to find traces of DNA. Detectives were getting a list of the people the staff had seen.

"T-There was a wolf, and a cat...they were talking, it got heated, and men appeared from the door. They had guns..." A woman was stammering to a nearby detective, and she looked around the place. "W-Who...It's him! It's the wolf!" She pointed to Zen who quickly turned and ran. Of course, one of the detectives decided to run after him.

It was a big mistake to mess with Zen and his quick reflexes, along with training and athletic ability. The wolf took a left and ended up in a dead end, a large wooden fence in front of him. His mind calculated quickly before he acted. He leapt up onto some wooden boxes nearby, grappling onto the ladder just above his head, attached to a fire exit. He swung, and leapt over the wall, landing with a thud on the other side. Yes!

And just when he thought he was free, there was a click of a gun. He looked in front of him to find some of the police force blocking his only exit. Damn/.

He looked left and right again. No way out, it seemed. With some reluctance, he raised his hands.

------------------------

"Zen? Zen?"

Calor was striding around the house, having awoken a few minutes ago to find the wolf gone. He suspected he would have just gone out momentarily, but there was no sign of him yet. His eyes cast to the Dragon that was still resting peacefully. How was he meant to look after the fellow while Zen was out? That was, assuming, the two were friends.

When Zen didn't return, Calor took in it his stride to look after Nyath until the wolf returned, whenever that may be. He slumped down onto the sofa and turned on the television, listening to the blaring news.

"This just in. One of the people seen at the Restaurant shooting has been caught. He has yet to be identified, but he is known as a white wolf..." The newsreader began and then continued. Calor gulped and paled.

Oh dear.

After the tiger asked the two canine’s, about where there was another petrol station. The husky told her that, there could be one further up in the street. Melissa looked at the land rover, and with a slight shake of her head, she thought the vehicle would not make another yard. She also saw Rocky was on the phone, calling for some help, she assumed.

Just as Melissa was about to walk back. The wolf who was in the car, with the husky called out to her. Wondering where she, her boyfriend and Rocky were going. “We were looking for new area. Where the water is not poisonous. We came from one of the village’s, near the city of Farwille. The water there is contaminated, we just heard about a yesterday.”

Akashi wandered over to Melissa, to tell her about the situation involving the vehicle. “Rocky call a tow truck now. With any luck, he can get through to one, and we can get out of here.” The tiger gazed up and down the road. He was feeling a bit uncomfortable standing, near the area, were there was gun fire heard. The wolf then told them. Getting a tow truck would be hard. It seemed reasonable. People would have been scared off, due to the shots fired.

The two canines got back to their car. They looked like they were in a hurry, since the wolf mentioned about the police coming, and he did not want to stick around, when they arrive. The wolf then mentioned, that he had some fuel to spare. Akashi was relieved to hear that, he had, extra petrol. But he caught a glimpse of hand gun, then saw the canine whisper something to his friend.

The tiger glanced at his girlfriend before, looking at Rocky, and saw he was still on the phone. “Melissa go see, if Rocky has got a tow truck.“ He said very quietly.

Melissa nodded and began to walk over to the land rover, not without taking a glance at Akashi. She knew something was wrong. If he was about to get fuel, why he send her to see if Rocky has got a tow truck.

Akashi was offered a jerry can, by the wolf and was expecting payment for it. The tiger looked at Rocky, and he was off the phone. And he saw him grinning, as he was putting the bags, back in the vehicle. So he assumed that he had got a truck what will to them, back to Farwille or to a survive station, where they could refuel the vehicle.

The tiger glanced back at the canine offering the extra petrol. “It is okay, keep it. I think we have gotten a tow.” The feline walked back over to Melissa and the harrier. “So did you manage to get some help?”

Petrol Station Carmine

As much the town's inhabitants have turned restless, hiding from their outer shells, officers of the law, continues to secure the street's.
Sure as, looking friendly enough, however the situation weren't up for idle chatter.
Whether it felt reassuring with a desert eagle in her arsenal, it didn't matter. Folks seem friendly enough.

//“It is okay, keep it. I think we have gotten a tow.\\

Quickly opening her door, checking upon the wolf, urging him to get back inside, seen as the sirens kept on increasing in altitude.
Wouldn't take... In matter of fact, there one of the first units arrive, hopefully won't be looking suspicious at their activities.

Yet upon exiting their wheels, they weren't exactly measurable, taking up arms, routing at everyone, while securing em one by one.
"Don't move..." The officer demanded, seen as their all possible robber's or worse, murderers, seen as there haven't been any receiving call, upon contact from the stations owner.

The husky sighed, however surprised they'd make it there so fast.
Usually any normal standard of civil service, takes at least five minutes, enough to make a run for it.
Stepping out of the vehicle, hands in the air, "We aren't the criminals here. The own...."

Cutting short, the officer simply snapped at the female, addressing em.
"Shut up woman, your all under arrest."

"What the fudge.... We're innocent you dumb idiots." Of course, her knack of tone didn't exactly seize em from having em in their sights.

Shortly after, more wheels arriving at the scene. Their all in control now.
Whether Finn wishes to abandon his wheels, for been taken to the nearest police station, she'd think not.
Blaming it on the stranger's, wouldn't exactly solve nothing.

Realizing their all, forced to follow, or risk of been shot, or survive, but become wanted across the whole county.
And the chance of even making it across the nearest border, aren't exactly huge, seen as the Carmine's militia have always been ruled as ruthless, unfair and unwilling to give nether a fair trial, until the court decides what to do with everyone, looking a bit suspicious.

Of course, finding the dead doesn't stop them from shouting, and several men charges at them, like their the worst of criminals there is.
"Get down on the ground, with your hands on the back."
Peering shallowly through the window, the pistol lying firmly upon the seat. That'd make as privileged arrest worthy as anyone with a bit of murdering instinct in them.

Even the feline's aren't allowed to leave without been taken to the station for further investigation round the mysterious death.
Yet their rudeness they could have left without.

"There's a weapon here?" Almost grinning upon looking down at the female husky, reassuring her in an rather intimidating way.
"This, the murdering weapon yes?" Urging her to speak, whereas the husky merely sighs in response.
"Answer me mutt!" Clearly amused, clasping right on her bum with his baton.

Whimpering upon violent use, she only mutters out. "*******!" Before receiving another handful, as if these men were all, that the militia had to offer.
Any attempts on getting involved, would have em shoot the grey wolf in the head. Shortly there after, having em all strapped, and shoved to the backseat.

Driving them to the nearest police station, it looks like the cat's are receiving a more lenient way of handling potential suspects.
Everyone's taken inside, before been thrown inside an temporarily cell, along with the rest.
"I'm telling you..." The husky urged them to heed her words.
"The owner must have died from the contaminated water, isn't that what's been going around the whole city."

"Silent in there. You'll have your chance to defend your self, in a few minutes." First one out, was Finn.
"Get a move on, wolf, we haven't got all day, there's more scumbags like you out there."

Sasha stops him, momentarily, "We won't stay the night.. love you." Whispering the last few words, before been urged to release him, before the whip will be necessarily to use.

Taking a seat was out of the question, she'll have a blue mark there. And if he hadn't been in such a position, she'd teach him some manners.
Their the criminals after all. We're just looking to survive.

A look of worry came over Finns face, the sirens wern't turning off or heading away, they were intent on coming here. There was nothing that would incriminate him as such, but no one knew the car which was jey to remining anonnomous.

He sighed a little, guess that was too late now, seeing them arrive taking up arms surrounding the whole group. Sashas protests did nothing for the cause, which is why he reamined calm and collect as possible. He had nothing to hide, but the cops were usualy suspicious of those keeping silent.

"Get down on the ground, with your hands on the back."

"There's a weapon here? This, the murdering weapon yes?"

Clearly an attempt to get her to speak even with her sigh, Finn shouted up from being manhandled himself

"Leave her be, she answerd you"

Adding sarcastically

"Though you must be top of the class for observation, yes it's a pistol, and when your forensics come back, you'll see it not been used recently"

The urge to break free was itense but it would be futile running, but he knew the motor would be safe enough managing to dead lock it before being hauled away into the back of a cruiser.

"Hey! hey! steady on, i'm coming" Shuffling for breathing space the officer let off a little, the wolf sitting himself in the back without a fuss. Thinking things over and over, they suddenly meet strangers like this, the resturant, and now the law has caught up with them? Was this from the earlier thing with Sasha or the unrest thats taking ahold of the city?

Hauled into custody the huskies pleading and protests were falling on deaf ears.

"Get a move on, wolf, we haven't got all day, there's more scumbags like you out there."

"Sure is, especially with incompetant pillocks holding innocent members of the public like this"

Grabbed by a hand, he turned to see the much loved face, taking in her scent

"We won't stay the night.. love you."

"You too sweetheart, and don't worry, we won't be"

Led off to the interview suite Finn sat at the desk opposite the questioning officers. Usual protocol, tape recorder, where, when how why and stuff. But it was then he clicked they hadn't been formally arrested. Just hauled off, so they must have known about the other deaths before they got there.

"So, as this isn't about the guy in the petrol station what is this really about?"

Sitting straight faced staring

"This is about what ever the hell is going on in this god forsaken city, well, all i can tell you is, people are going batshit crazy and we're all stuck in the middle. Christ some bozo started shooting a reasturant up earlier i was heading for, out of the blue"

The two detective types stared back, they knew what he was on about.

"So what do you have to do with that then sonny?" The one on the right asked

"Everything if it means staying alive. You guys are here sat around doing this when theres anarchy on the streets"

It was then that the shouting and chanting outside the station caught their attention. The other detective seeing what was going on came rushing back in

"It's gone mad out there gov', these guys are sane they aint like them out there come see"

Finn got up peering out of the small window at the top of the wall with the other two men, a small crowd of rioters wrecking up the place, dozens of bodies strewn across the ground.

"Fine. But if we catch you in with any of these lot, you and your girlfriend and cronies are back in here locked up, got it!" The lead detective said in a harsh and stern voice, giving out orders to get out and restore order.

Being loosed out into the main reception Finn waited for Sasha and the others to return, eager to get back to the motor and get ready for the onslaught that was about to happen. Them or us, and he wasn't going to let the law or the strange phenominon get them.

Sandopolis Act 2
After Akashi walked back over, and asked if the Harrier did get any help. So they could get out of the city. Although before there was any answer. The sound of sirens were roaring louder, and soon enough a police car approached. An officer got out of the vehicle, and aimed a weapon at not only the two canines, but also the harrier and two felines. Yelling at them not to move.

Melissa panicked, and quickly put her hands up. She did not know what was going on, but she did not say a word. She saw the husky step out the car. Trying to reason with the officer, but he took no notice. Which made the dog snap at him.

With the officer announcing they were all under arrest. Rocky and Akashi raised the hands into the air, as more law enforcers arrived. “What is going on here? What did we do?” The harrier thought. He saw one of the officer’s go up to the car, where the wolf still in. He started yelling. "Get down on the ground, with your hands on the back."

The husky was lead by one officer two once of the police car’s. And the two felines were being lead to another.

While the were walking to the vehicle. Akashi gazed over, at the wolf and the husky’s vehicle. As the police searched it. Finding a weapon. Then he saw the officer question the husky about. But the tiger only heard a little, as he and Melissa were forced into the car, ready to go to the station. He saw the car with Rocky in drive off ahead of them. He looked to his girlfriend, who was sitting next him, still a little panicked. “Don’t worry.” Melissa looked at him and responded with a quick faint smile. The officer then drove the two felines to the station.

Eventually the tigers came to the station. The officer got them out of the car, and escorted inside. He walked them to the cell. Akashi saw Rocky was already sat inside. The officer shoved the two felines a little, as they stepped inside the cell. “Wait here, until you are called on The officer then left.

Soon after the two canines arrived at the cell. The husky was demanding the officer to listen. About how someone died by drinking contaminated water. But the law enforcer was not listening, and told her to be quiet.

As the wolf left to talk with the officers. Rocky walked over to the husky. His attention was on the contaminated liquid, what seems to be a problem Carmine as well. “There is something wrong with the water here too? We just came from the Farwille area. The drinking water dangerous there too.” The harrier a little more worried, after hearing someone died from drinking it. “We thought the issue with the water was not happening in other areas.”

//“We thought the issue with the water was not happening in other areas.”\\

Upon interrogating the wolf, knowing she'd be next in line.
Whatever reasons the cat's were hauled in, she had no idea.
"You must be living in the secluded past dog, this is obvious a worldly Phenomenon this polluted water will only further cause panic around all of Kavelio."
As much she insisted in knowing, quite frankly she hadn't a clue, but it seems the most obvious when they've come so far, only realizing there's no better up north.

The surreal noise from outside, clearly giving away their expressions on how the communal services deal with this sort of crisis.
Media won't need to remain subtle on information, their all aware on the countless death's occurring from simply drinking water.

Whether it felt surreal, but must have convinced them they had nothing to do with the murder down at the petrol station.
"Your free to leave." Thankful, but she wouldn't forgive them for their violent nature. Solve matter's at hand without getting greedy, due to having the law behind their scrawny backs.

Quickly catching up with Finn, both were heading different ways, probably on a route, picking up were they'd left off.
Before completely separating them self from the other's, she wished only giving em a fair advice.
"Don't waste even a second more in town, there's nothing in her for nether one of you."

Quickly making their way past the angry mob of citizens, demanding repentance, though hardly none of these officers would be able to offer them a blessing.
"Pitiful, when it's the scientists that lies on all the answers what's causing every damn water source, upon getting contaminated. Probably should leave this shithole as well eh?"
Whether her soft nature had drifted off since she met with Finn, it doesn't matter, she's convinced they'll get through this as well.

It's all dark outside, her stomach growl's intensely, and before driving off, she had to grab a few cookies, anything to sooth her hunger.
"You want some?"
Offering a hand, seen as he's the driver, while she simply follows wherever he chooses to take em.
Safe to say, no matter if the water's contaminated, she still had Finn at her side, and that's the meaning of life.

To even think she wouldn't want anything to do with him.
Now she's all but drawn to the hero, with his four-wheel driven stallion.
Flicking on the radio, at least there's some music, allowing them a chance to think about something else then the carnage that's on the verge of breaking a whole community to the brink of sanity.

{Radio}

"We interrupts this musical number, to inform that all citizens must avoid drinking from their own sink, we believe the water's contaminated all across town."

{End Radio}

"Yeah right, there's more to it then that. You know them we met earlier, mentioned that the same problems were up north in Farwille. Thinking they'd escape such by travelling south, here, only to find the same occurrences down here."
Proved the better that living outside the city wall's might give em some fresh water, yet seen how desperate people are, it wouldn't take long before all hell break loose.
Water will become even more precious then gold. Yet it's a matter of survival, not just earning an incredible amount of wealth.

War could easily set sides up against each other. Having to share, haven't been nether one's prior measure of strength.

Slowly her eye lock's turned heavy, falling asleep, knowing little what's coming by tomorrow's sunset.

-----

Well aware of the dozens of desperate soul's, still haven't a flurry idea, what's causing all this mischief. Thinking back finding the relatively fresh corpse, yet without anything indicating there's been a flesh wound of sorts. Must have been the water.
Yet what's been served, have felt relatively fine.

Quickly ending up fiddling around his own thought's looking upon the roof, leaving one leg, dropping down toward the floor, before finding him self blundering away.

Upon the very next morning, awakening rather abruptly, upon seeing who's taken to one of the nearby cell's, he immediately thrashed his way out of bed, slamming at the bar's, hissing at the white wolf's appearance.
"You....!"

Whether he'll remember the crocodile, that's of no concern to him, all he craved for was to have another go at that scrawny neck of his.

Zen spent the evening in local interrogation in the city. He sat in a cold, boring room, on a small chair in front of a dingy metal table. The corner was stained with blood, presumably an injured criminal.

A man sat opposite him and pulled up a file.

"Zeniphalta...Aliaphinto. It took a while to pull up that name. We had to do recognition software." The man admitted. "There's almost...nothing on you. No address, barely a passport or anything." He seemed annoyed about that. He set the file down and looked at Zen, who was silent.

"Why don't you tell me about yourself, Mr. Aliaphinto?" He asked with a fake smile. The wolf stared into his eyes.

"I am but a wolf." Zen replied simply and didn't say much more other than that. The detective's jaw set and he frowned a bit.

"Why were you at the crime scene of a murder that you...no doubt committed? You used a firearm and nearly killed a man." He said simply.

Zen said nothing. He knew explaining anything to the police would get him nowhere, and would more than likely get him killed. They had evidence, they didn't need his confession. Then again, they don't have his gun, nothing to link that he actually shot the gun. The man stared at him for a long time before realising Zen wasn't going to talk. He stood and simply went out the room.

"He ain't gonna talk, Chief. I say we keep him in holding until Forensics show up." he said to the chief, who nodded, agreeing. An hour later, they manage to trace that Zen was at the scene, along with that he fired the gun. many witnesses saw it, too. Or were paid to see it.

And with that, he was taken to jail. He was stripped of his clothing and belongings and put in orange slacks that he would wear while he was in prison for 5 years for using a firearm. They lead him towards where he would be staying. He was dreading even moment of it, even more than he stood outside the door. He saw the crocodile through the window, the one who had, in fact, nearly killed his friend and injured him in the process. He heaved a sigh, knowing this would end badly.

He was shoved inside, the door locked behind him. The crocodile immediately hissed at his arrival, clearly remembering him. Oh joy.

"You....!"

"Don't even start. Keep away from me." Zen muttered with a snarl, a growl escaping his mouth as he took a seat as far away from the crocodile as possible.

----------------------------

"We're so screwed, Dragon."

Calor paced the room, glancing over at the Green Dragon who sat worriedly on the sofa.

"He got arrested. How am I meant to take care of you and take care of me? I have no money!" He said and wailed a bit, completely panic stricken. Nyath chirped and didn't really know what to do either, simply sitting on the sofa, tail swishing back and forth.

Calor racked his brains. There was no hope in hell he could get Zen out of prison, but maybe...heck, he didn't know.

He decided to take a walk. Heading out of the room, he walked down towards the streets with Nyath in tow. He couldn't risk being caught, so slung a hoodie on before he left, pulling the hood over his face. Perhaps he could find some leads. He still had some old contacts. Pulling out his phone, he dialled a number.

"Yo. Rickie. Yeah, 'tis Calor...I need your help. I have a friend, who um...got himself locked up. Think you can help him get out?" Calor listened and then grinned.

"Excellent. You'll be paid handsomely." he ended the call and rubbed his hands together. Zen could be broken out, now, thankfully...but not until night time.

They were out free and back in the world of confusion what was englufing everyone. Surley the police could see what was going on? This had to be some sort of terrorist thing, or worse. Could it be worse? All he knew he and Sasha were heading away from everyone else they had randonly met.

Heading back to the garage finding the car in one peice and untouched, the wolf breathed a sigh of releif unlocking the motor climbing in firing up the engine. Sitting there for a moment collecting his thoughts, the heta coming through it was nice to be in a comfortable seat after so many hours in the station house.

Sasha rummaging through the back seats pulled out some cookies, hearing her rumbling belly made his own shudder in anticipation for getting some food.

"You want some?"

"Ohh yes please" Taking one keeping the other hand on the wheel munching slowly, concentrating on dodging random mobs of people finguring out what to do. At least they were both safe, but he couldn't help but think of those they had met. Were they on a mission somewhere too?

Movement caught his eye, seeing the fine husky fur flick on the radio when it came, the sudden yet obvious message that there was something wrong with the water supply. They suspected it, but it offered some kind of closue at least.

"Yeah right, there's more to it then that. You know them we met earlier, mentioned that the same problems were up north in Farwille. Thinking they'd escape such by travelling south, here, only to find the same occurrences down here."

"Heh yeah definatly more then that hun, but who would do such a thing and why now? Things have been peaceful for well before we were both born? Problem is, what is it infected with and can it be treated before drinking it?"

The Jaguar purred along the streets far quiter then normal heading out towards the cities walls there migtht be some sanctuary at another location he had used before, not as big as the last warehouse granted but just a small lock up.

More of a house with some storage next door, thinking of what was there the wold smiled an ironic grin. It was so far out the way they wern't on the national water supply, tapping into an single undergound source isolated from other resoviors.

Feeling his boot hit the floor on the accelerator he looked ot Sasha mouth open to tell her what he was doing upon seeing her lying asleep. Spurring him on even more the wolf fixed his eyes on the road, passing the mile markers like they were buzzing flies.

'White Church 20 mils'

Doing the quick math at the speed he was going they'd be there in 5 minutes, perfect! Not looking in the mirrors behind to see if anyone was following he was intent on reaching their destination. Headlights in the distance not even registering......

Sandopolis Act 2
Rocky did not get much of an answer from the husky, when he asked her about if the problems with the water, were plaguing Carmine as well. Then again it seemed these problems with the water, have just occurred not so long ago. The water in Farwille was polluted, and it seems the same here too. He and the tigers could try going further south, although the chances looked slim that, they will find safe drinking water in other areas.

An officer walked up to the cell. The wolf was not with him, which did concern the harrier a little. Was the wolf, thrown in Jail, or did the officer want to interview someone else? But it was not any of those things. The officer said that, they could go. The two felines and Rocky were relieved to here that. Seeing the husky rush over to her friend, they followed.

The two canines parted ways with the harrier and tigers, after advising them not to stay in Carmine. With the recent events, what has happened. It seemed wise to heed the advice from the husky.

Once they all got out of the precinct. Melissa folded her arms and was a bit angry about what just happened. “Did you get a tow?!” She shouted in a little frustration. The tiger then gazed at Rocky waiting for and answer.

Rocky nodded with a faint smile. “Yeah I managed to get some help. The tow is coming from Farwille, also it’s someone I know so…”

Melissa interrupted, before Rocky could finish. “Great the sooner we get out of here the better.” The feline quickly wandered off. Heading back to were the land rover broke down.

Akashi looked at Rocky. “So what, it will be free?” He was wondering the harrier was going say. But without guessing. He then wandered ahead and caught up with his girlfriend.

The harrier followed Akashi and Melissa back to the street, were the vehicle. “The tow will still be waiting, that is what.” Eventually canine could see the land rover, and a tow truck. A coyote was leaning against a wall. The wolf and Husky’s car was gone.

Noticing Rocky and the tigers walking up. The coyote hooked up the land rover. “where have you been? I have been waiting for a while.” He looked at the garage, as the hook raised the front of the vehicle. “It’s not one of the best placed to wait. Since there was gunshots in this area.” The canine looked at Rocky and gestured to his car. “Would you release the handbrake?”

As Rocky unlocked the land rover, and released the hand brake. Melissa was curious about where they were being towed to. “So are you taking us back to Farwille? Before we left the town. We checked out of our hotel.” The tiger wondered because it be getting late soon.

The coyote nodded. “My name is Jeff. And yes I will be taking you back to Farwille. Rocky told my that, you all will not have a place to stay. So for the night you will be staying at my house.” Canine got in the truck and was ready to go. He noticed was sat in the SUV. He then looked at the two tigers. “You will have to sit in the land rover.”

Melissa smiled at the coyote “Thank you.” She happy that, they had somewhere to sleep for the night. She got in the land rover along with Akashi, and was ready to leave Carmine.

Jeff saw that Rocky and the tigers were in and land rover. He started his truck, and drove off towing the vehicle. He left the city heading back to Farwlle. He wondered what the harrier, and the two Felines were Carmine. If it was because of the polluted water. They may not have much luck, finding any safe clean water anywhere else.

Christmas is back again

Carmine Prison

The nerve putting them both in the same cell.
Yet despite their differences, how on earth, did that smock end up holed up behind bar's. What wrong's had this wolf done, but some fine sport's keeping an exotic animal as pet.

//"Don't even start. Keep away from me."\\

Rather then take a beef with the wolf, he acted outstandingly well, considering he's more then often ended one's foul mouth, without hesitation.
In fact, he returned back to his own bed, lying on top, prying at the roof, having no thought's on anything else but breaking out the very next few hour's from now.

Plan's already sorted out, with outside's uproar, it'll probably make it out even smoother, with less men at their disposal.

A few hour's were passing by, it's nearing evening supper, were most of the prisoner's are served a bit of water, and bread. Typical swag isn't it. No matter, the crocodile approached the bar's, attending a fine soar'e, by bashing at the bar's, until that very ole same message run's through the air.
"Shut up already, you'll have your scraps of food."

As suspected, the mutt, such as his first appearance could tell all about, was all alone. Most men ether served outside, trying to solve the momentary riot. Probably a few more awaiting an arrest.
Nevertheless, the sound from his feet descending down the stair's.
Kaman looking back at the wolf, barely as if looking to tell him something.
He couldn't care less, but as soon he busts through, a chance for freedom will open for anyone looking to hit the hike.

Each men were been served, until he came forth, looking rather nervous as he were about to hand out the food and drink.
"Move away from the bar's."
Doing as he were asked. He continued to remain at a fair distance, ready to lunge at the dog paw's.
Nor did he realize that, upon moving as much like an inch with his arms through that narrow space.
"Here you aaaaaah!" Looking through the officer's eyes, he was clearly afraid, panicking and screaming, and with a quick snap, the dog's arm were broken.

Without even considering to leave him be, Kaman repeatedly slammed the dog toward the bar's using all force, until the mutt all bloody, sank to the ground, with key's dangling by his pant's.
With that, in a matter of a few seconds, the door had been unlocked.
He wasn't even going to consider turning back, the wolf had every possibility following him out, or stay behind, hoping that someone smart enough comes to his rescue.
The dragon? Ha ha! The amusing thought, left a cheap grin upon his lips.

Of course it'd be a stupid mistake running through the front door. Instead he continued toward the backdoor. Ramming it open, finding one accessible vehicle nearby.
Upon further patrols, there's one shouting for his name.
"Hey you, don't move?" Pistol was held high, yet he couldn't simply pull the trigger if the possibility would come to the verve of arresting him without prompting anymore bloodshed.

Of course, to think he'd gone without picking up the dead officer's gun was to be a fool.
"Yeah right." Quickly taking cover behind the police car, for once he wasn't sure if this white canine had accompanied him, but if so, he'd best try and find some place to hide.

One bullet was wasted, adding two, three and four. Clearly he hadn't thing's under control. And when thing's snapped out, as the trigger wouldn't respond, Kaman simply crept out from his cover, ending the second officer's life with a bullet through his forehead.
Smashing the car window at the driver's seat. Unlocking the door, knowing that by any second now, the alarm will go nuts and then not just him, but both will be priority search targets.
And as with so many cop killing's made of late, Kaman would only deserve one thing. Imminent death, no second chance. And that's it.

Relatively advanced, it'd be a bit more tricky jacking the car up, but what's the fun without a challenge.
"You coming or what?" Kaman routed out from the window, as the engine was alive, and well to set off, through that gate in front of them.
Pushing the accelerator he drove through the nearest exit, upon finding several men crying out, as they watched some lunatic/s crashing through the entrance gate.
Attempting to shoot the tire, was futile as they he/they were already at a safe distance for now. Though it's out from the town, that'd be the key.

White Church

Rubbing her eye's upon finding them self stopped.
"What's this place then?" She inquired to know, upon exiting the wheel's, not exactly having much memories of such a place.
Nor had she seen it from above.

Nevertheless it's refreshing not having to worry about other pedestrians seeking out their attention, or demanding water, let the cities and media handle such obscurities.

That's when a sudden trace of imagery appeared to her.
Quickly fiddling around her left pocket, she now remember why she was such a wanted target.
Once inside, she had to reveal the location of an floating island supposedly holding an ancient artifact. Yet she wouldn't know the whole story.

Yet it was all rather soothing being at a place such as this. And in the end, Finn was the one with the car key, and she'll happily follow him around, until the crisis with the communal water may be solved, hopefully without to much delay, or it could very mean people will become desperate. Enough to kill for water. It was a worrying thought! For now it's merely up to date, but who's causing it.
"Any ideas on what we should do, Finn?"

(A bit stumped what to do here Stu, I'll leave you controlling the ship now.)

Stopping at the house Finn paused staring at the building, everything exactly as it was left not more then six months ago which was reassuring. Not that he had any doubt around these parts, everyone looked after each other, the neighbours a fine upstanding family proud to be members of the town.

"What's this place then?"

Hearing her stir the wolf looked at Sasha stretching

"This is White Church, one of the little towns dotted around at the base of the farmlands, isolated, independant and their own water supply"

He smiled with a wink before getting out the car stretching surveying the scenery, the town going about its usual business, and far enough off the main road for anyone to start puring in looking for salvation. He saw the husky fiddling around with something in the car before unlocking the house and opening everything up.

"Any ideas on what we should do, Finn?"

Seeing her wonder into the room she looked a little pre occupied with something else, or was that his imagination? Was that the thing in the car she was looking at?

Putting on the TV, he stood there watching the scenes of destruction and commotion on the news

"I think we need to go and find out who or what is causing all this, everyone here is fine and not on main water. But who would do such a thing, and why?"

Looking baffled at the images being portrayed the wolf dashed out to the niehgbours to see if they knew anything. Sadly they knew as much as they did but it was reasuring to know they could eat and drink in safety here. Heading back into the house, Finn filled a glass. He had to try.

"Bottoms up!" Gulping the liquid down before any objection could be made, waited, and waited. Nothing. So it was alright after all, letting out a releived sigh.

"We'll get oursevles organised here, and go find out whats going on"

As if by conincidence the screen showed images of fire in a forest, no explination or anything, no eye witnesses just some guy being arrested by the police.

Was that anything to do with this? The place he drove through in what seemed like an eternity?

Now it was his turn to look pre occupied with something

"I drove through there when that happend, wonder if thats anything to do with it?" Speaking looking at her, whilst flicking back to the TV.

"You wouldn't know anything about all this would you? I mean, even after that guy was chasing you earlier?"
