So, what brings you here then my friend? Hope you don't mind but i was heading to Camine Capital if that's ok Kolca shifted his eyes towards Finn as he spoke. What brought him here? Hell if he knew. Camine Capital? Never heard of the place before. So, with a light shrug Kolca decided to reply back. "I guess I did something 'right,' other than that I'm not sure why I'm here..." He tells Finn. He didn't care that Finn most likely wouldn't know what he is talking about. Either way, that could be explained later. They seemed to have arrived somewhere, to which he was given the option to wander about, or join this fellow. However, the only problem with this plan, was money... Either way, it seemed like he had no other choice, given his current situation. "Whatever, fine by me..." Yup, he didn't bother mentioning that he was flat out broke... Well, that isn't all true. The last place he was at had different concurrence, unless this place uses the same thing, which was doubtful... Unless... Kolca reached into his pockets and pulled out four 'gem' like rocks. One was gold, the other was onyx, and the last two were ruby colored. "Forgot I had these... Maybe I can use these here... Wonder how much they'd give me for them..." He tells himself, speaking out loud as if Finn wasn't right next to him. Either way, this was all he had. It could be worth more than he thought... Only one way to find out. |

Forest That proved relatively easy. Unable to counter, much to the crocodiles favor, who easily were in control. Lashing out at the little creature, attempting to escape. "Got ya!" Boasting with confidence, even if the little one's constant effort shimmying from the male's clutches. With tremendous strength, he managed to force it in submission, quickly using whatever strap's of rope, tying the scaled one to a rock. Of course he wouldn't be able to attend his chef's expertise, before he'd make sure the wolf, wouldn't jump out on him. "If someone knew you'd kept exotic animals as your pet, you'd be hauled in any second." Poor sod! Checking for reflexes, anything that'd may change the tables around. Quickly checking on the little fella, knowing by experiences that turning a blind eye for long, might be enough. "He he!" Chuckling in mere response. "I'm actually doing you a favor you weasel." Setting up branches on each side, like the famous medieval set, that's been taught among his people. Tending to live far from the city reaches after earning an considerable amount of bounty in each capital, it's hard to come by decent food, unless you'd prepare it on your own accord. Enough with wood scarcely lying about. Now to... "Shit!" Realizing the dragon must've made it away. But were? He couldn't have gone far. "Come out, come out... wherever you are, I'll find you." Quickly dropping the chase, with the apparent dog's sniffing up his trail, approaching vigilantly with officer's behind their leashes. Kaman had no intention staying behind, waiting for them to arrive. Running for his life had been an constant pursuit ever since he was born. Only once he's been strapped behind bars, able to break free, he were in no such luck today. He felt an overly obstacle preventing him from progressing fluently away from the CM's,(Carmen's Milita) reach, toppling down, hitting his relatively huge mouth, crying out. as he struggles his way back up, only to have the police unit urging him to stop. "Give it up Kaman, or we will fire." Unwillingly the crocodile added both arms at the back of his neck, enough to have em surround him, adding handcuffs, and a quick boot of the rifle-butt, knocking him out cold. Of course they hadn't ignored the wolf by the tree. "Take care of the canine, he needs to see an medic." Without further ado, the forest would surely be the last thing to remember, yet what about little Nyath? There's of course the unwanted attention of dogs scurrying near the dragon, even butting their snouts against something physically nearby, but unable to be seen by the naked eye. "What's up with the dogs...?" One of the officers asked, only to assume they'd must've picked up, on another trail. "What you finding boy." Their faithful dogs immediately started to show an much more aggressive and agitated behavior. Showing teeth, tail's stiff like arrows, as if they'd found something. Yet of course one of the officers merely scratched his forehead, almost to everyone's surprise. Two of them approaching with their firearms unsheathed, yet none aimed em at nothing. Rather puzzled, and it was merely to the dragon's fortune that they'd payed as little interest to the relevance of an invincible creature. Putting em back in their leashes, dogs whimpering at their master orders, tail between their legs, trying to crane their heads back, only to be ordered back to the wheel's by the cabin. The crocodile and wolf was each put in separate wheels before driven off in two different directions. Of course the addition of firetrucks had arrived, only to take care of the flames that still occurred from the stranger falling from the sky. And several units remained, investigating the event that's been taken place. Carmine Capital The notorious thief's pilot had one keen wolf to thank for this opportunity. Wherever he is, she'll always remember him for what they went through together. Whether she regretted ditching him? Yes of course she did. But something told her to stay clear from him. And her attention was with her new job now. She could hear the alarm blaring off inside her chief's room. Shortly there after he shouted for her attention. Quickly flipping from her chair, running upstairs, only to find him in his pajamas, ushering her to close the door. As if he had anything to show off, to her interest. No it's all about professionalism. Piloting him wherever he wish. Currently searching for the floating island, apparently nothing but a legend, but a legendary snitch, and utmost obsessed by valuable reliquaries, he simply refuses to acknowledge the differ. "You wanted to see me." Asking casually on the other side. "Did I?" He asks him self, quickly putting on some proper clothes, before joining her outside. "There." Gesturing her to move downstairs, following right behind until they moved inside the relatively narrow kitchen. Not much in the closets ether, but what can you expect from house built among the slums below the town it self. "Nothing." Muttering under his breathe, closing shut the doors to the closest, already looking back at the husky. "Can you head outside and pick some breakfast or lunch at the market." Of course why wouldn't he walk out there on his own. Well, he's not exactly a simple thief, he's known all around in Kavelio. Of course he'd refuse to murder, seldom using his dagger, preferring the silent approach. Of course this is one of her many duties. She can't even remember having a single vacation since she was recruited as the thief's assistant. Heading out through the sewers, quickly making her way up, until she find her self in one of the nearby alleyways. Within a few minutes she emerged outside with the rest of the town's pedestrians. There's chaos in town. The news about someone corrupting everyone's water supplier, leaving to exceedingly steep prizes on simple water. "Fresh from the well. Only ten dollar for each glass." "Rather having juice today, and that loaf over there." Sasha requested, knowing to keep her distance away from the suspicious water, what's already have taken a few poor sods, attempting to clench their thirsts. "Pfft.... Fair enough miss." Clearly wanting to see his well earned profit reaching his wealthy income, selling water. How cruel. Paying the seller, without a moment's reconsider. That's when she gawked, upon seeing an rather familiar face... (Finn) "Oh no! He can't see me." Sasha tries to make it away from the market, not wanting to be seen. |

Continuing through the busy yet some how odd vibes of the town the wolf lisnted to the guys explination although, there was something he felt that was being held back, not wanting himt o know anyway. "I guess I did something 'right,' other than that I'm not sure why I'm here..." This got Finns attention, was this fellow some sort of bounty hunter or even worse? Something right and that was why he was here? Meh, so be it he thought things wern't rosy in his past too. Finns concious fluttered for a moment, was it right to do what they were doing? Well, everyone had a right to protect themselves so he and whoever else were involved was doing the population a favour surely? That's it, helping people protect themsevles. Do a better job then the police anyway he thought with a grin, putting to rest his troubled thoughts. "Whatever, fine by me..."Forgot I had these... Maybe I can use these here... Wonder how much they'd give me for them..." "Good good, i feel someone like yourself my friend would benefit from what we do, as, well, you seem to be a bit cagey and that's means you need protection!" The wolf couldn't help but get exited especially when the gems that were pulled out dazzled out the corner of his eye. "Hmm maybe, but you'd be better swapping them for cash around these parts, it would get you alot more stuff then coloured jewelery. I can stop off at the pawn shop if you like, then you can meet me later at the warehouse?" ___ Stopping at the side of the road to let his new aqauintance out Finn sat for a moment watching the street sellers. Something was definatly amiss, selling water for way more then normal? Normally it wouldnt have mattered but this wasn't the first time he'd seen this in a matter of days. Then something caught his eye, or rather someone. The distance didn't help but he continued staring, she was definatly familiar, was it? The female stood next to the seller of the drinks stall for a moment before dissapearing. Rubbing his eyes Finn tried to look harder but she was gone, was Sasha around here or his mind playing tricks on him? Who knew but he was determined to find out for sure, he HAD to speak to her again. |

The Dragon Whisperer
|
Nyath hadn't expected the outcome that came out of his escape. For one, the Crocodile followed him, and with a swift movement, had tripped him up. Then the police arrived? It was all rather chaotic, and thankfully, Nyath kept himself cloaked regardless of the stinging pain in his leg. "Give it up Kaman, or we will fire." The Dragon memorised the Crocodile's name. It may come of use later. He glanced left and right, seeing no sign of Zen anywhere...only the police with the crocodile. How was he to find his way around? Before he could make sense of what to do, the dogs sniffed him. They ran their snouts along his thigh and he straightened up, going rigid. The shock of the touch made him sway back, baring his invisible teeth. Just a defence mechanism. The dogs began to bark and he flitted back, shrinking away, avoiding confrontation in his injured state. The police just looked baffled and shrugged, stowing the crocodile away. Nyath was left all alone. He didn't know where to turn, what to do. The vehicle in which Zen was in speeded away, that he was completely oblivious too. The wolf would be taken to a hospital in which he'd be treated for his injuries. But what about the little Drake? Injured, dependant, and alone, he was left to try and fend for himself in the forest. He stood in the middle of the dirt path, looking left and right, not knowing which way to turn. Which way had they gone? He was pretty sure it was to the right of him. He turned towards it, and slowly trudged his way down the road. He didn't know how long he's last without water, or food, but he hoped it wasn't a long trek. The moon shone above him after a while, illuminating his path. As he walked, there was a car that was making it's way past him. Nyath spotted it and gritted his teeth. Perhaps if he made a right jump... Bracing himself, he leapt to the side, just as the car sped past. His claws just swiped the bumper and then he tumbled into the dirt, missing. He whimpered in pain in his leg. In the distance, he could just see a large city. It was a long trek still. Could he make it? ------------- 5 hours. 5 long, gruelling hours of trudging along, tripping occasionally, the pain in his leg building. By the time he reached the outskirts of the city, he was almost dead on his feet. His vision swayed a little bit. His invisibility was still kicking in, concealing him in his final hours. A blessing and a curse. He stopped outside a small, local vets. They treated animals, his fading memory recalled. With a whimper of exhaustion and pain, he nudged his head to the door. It tinkled open. The young man behind the counter frowned as the door opened on it's own. "The hell...?" He frowned, and the door swung shut again. He shook his head, thinking it was the wind. The invisible Dragon slunk past him, finding an empty room with a vet inside, filling in paperwork. He slinked in through the open door, and using his tail, swung the door shut. The vet, a middle aged, greying man, frowned as the door closed and glanced around the room. He felt not draft. He looked down at his paperwork and then felt something nudging his leg. Looking down, he saw a small green Drake, fully uncloaked. He looked mighty pale. Immediately, the man recoiled, eyes wide, before he blinked, frowning. "Are you alright, little fella?" He frowned, bringing a hand out. The Dragon just whimpered in pain, showing his injury, oozing blood. "Oh, shit." The man stood and quickly went out the room. He returned with swabs and such. "Here. Keep still. Is this a bullet wound, eh?" The man looked shocked, before sticking a needle near the wound, numbing the area and subsiding the pain. he stuck a pair of tweezers in and the Dragon yelped, snarling at the man, who just used a hand to stroked the Dragon's snout, soothing him. With a single, swift, expert movement, he took the bullet out. "There. better?" he took a needle and thread, stitching the wound and putting a disinfectant swab over the the injury. The Dragon hung it's head, looking exhausted. "You need to rest, little one. I'll get you some food and drink, okay?" With some hesitation, he picked the Drake up, who was too tired to wriggle free, and laid it on the bed. Nyath blinked up at the man. He was kind. His face reminded the Dragon of Zen. With some resignation, he closed his eyes. |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
The next morning came. Rocky checked out of the hotel in Farwille, one he got outside he noticed it was a quiet morning. The merchant selling the expensive water, was nowhere to be seen. Although the news about issues with the drinking water, were occurring in the nearby areas. Probably made him stop selling it. The harrier walked over to his hire car. It was a land rover discovery 3, and it lot more reliable than his own car. Since some areas of Kavelio might have rough roads. Rocky put his bag in the back of the vehicle, he then got in the drivers seat and drove off heading out of the town, towards the Village where Akashi and Melissa were staying at. While the harrier was driving on the Rook. He looked out of the window noticing a lake, with faded purple water. But he wondered if this was actually linked to the problems with the water in the area. Or was lake just that colour because of people dumping rubbish. Rocky arrived at the Rook and stopped outside the hotel. He got out and saw Melissa standing at the pool, leaning against the wall of the hotel. Her bag was packed. It looked she was ready to leave the village. The harrier walked up to the pool area. And could not see Akashi anywhere. “Where is your boyfriend?” He asked. Melissa walked to a window and looked inside. She saw Akashi at the front desk talking with the owner. “He is checking us out, of the hotel.” The tiger walked to a low wall separating the pool area from the path leading up to the building entrance. She gazed at the vehicle they will be travelling in. She sighed positively. “Do you know how to get round Kavelio?” Rocky shrugged his shoulders. “No not really. But we are heading anywhere, what doesn’t have this water problem.” The harrier picked up the tiger’s bag. “While we wait for Akashi. I will put this in the car.” As Rocky walked over to the vehicle, to put Melissa’s back in. Akashi came out of the hotel, and saw the harrier putting luggage in a vehicle, different to his own. “I guess we are leaving now.” The tiger walked up to land rover and put his bag in, and observed the vehicle. “So this is what we are take around Kavelio?” The feline gazed at the over end of road, leading out of the village and out of the Farwille area. He could see mountains in the horizon. Rocky and Melissa got in the car. The female tiger gazed at the mountains, what Akashi was looking at. And she got a little shivery. “We are not there are we?” She said with a tiny fright in her voice. Rocky looked at Melissa and give a quick answer. “No.” He then started the engine. “Those mountains look way too far. We will probably get to the next town before we come to them.” The dog revved the engine to get Akashi’s attention. Gesturing him to get in the car. Akashi walked over and got in the land rover, in the passenger’s seat behind his girlfriend. Rocky drove the vehicle out of the village, and out of Farwille. They were searching for an area what will not have the same with water, like what Farwille has. |

Carmine Prison/Police Station Drawing near the station, the fate of his lied in the mighty enforcers grip. Escorted down through the building until he was forced inside a narrow, almost unbearable cell, with it's rotten fruit lying scarcely around, leaving a foul snort off disgust, as he eyed the officers. "We'll make sure you'll stay here permanently." The crocodile intimidatingly threw a punch at the bars, striking fear among them, only to have em continually taunting the criminal's presence. "Your hands can't save you this time, let's leave this miserable life for now." As much his hands wished to lash around that man's throat, he admittedly paused his fury, looking shallowly at the bench suited against the wall. A sink, with it's putrid smell, and a toilet who he dared not to unseal of what's inside. It sickens him, before taken a seat, cursing beneath his breathe, knowing that if he's stomach hadn't urged for such an exotic meal, he would've still been a free man. Required to wait, with no plans of escaping for now, though given the inability of Carm's Militia, he won't stay behind these bars for to long. Carmine Streets/Market Admittedly her interest for the wolf had drove her insane, countless of hours without an proper blunder. And now, in all of Mobius, he's there. Wishing he hadn't seen her, or what's left of his interest had faded away. She wouldn't blame him, it was all in all, her decision that led her to leave his side in bed. Slipping away from the market, hopefully unseen, it didn't take long before she arrived, with one package of juice in her right hand, and keys in the other, about to unlock, when the thief emerges out from the building, stopping her from entering. "Whatever you do, don't look across the road." Quickly taking a detour behind the apartment, whereas a black Subaru only awaits it's owner, about to engage, pushing down that throttle, with the husky, looking worriedly. "What...!" After several attempts giving almost no information in return, clearly focusing on driving, with a constant look at the rear. A suspicious looking van follows them wherever they go. "It's Maximillius, he's been after me for years. Supposedly a fanatic, that dare not give in, even after he was forced to step down from the police unit. I believe he's even gathered enough men to start a crusade, taking me down." Driving toward the market, the likability he's still around, left her head slink down further down to her seat. "And what's your plan dealing with this crud?" He didn't even have a chance to answer when a bullet, took an impact with the side-mirror. "Jesus!" That'll draw the attention from both pedestrians fleeing about, and officers on patrol. A few seconds later, the blaring sound from all around started to make their way closer and closer. Looking to ask the law-enforcers for aid wouldn't do. His crime status would immediately be enough, putting him and her behind bars for the rest of their lives. All too well, she's experienced quite the thrilling adventure before, so this didn't exactly leave her shivering, but the unwanted attention could draw the wolf their way. More bullet's now pierced the rear window, of course she screamed, it was a normal reaction when your life is relying on the car's safety. "Watch were you going....!" She panicked, before everything around her blacked out. The car crashed into one of the lampposts, sending it straight through the engine room, with smoke lifting up, before a fire seemingly blossomed, without her knowledge. Her master had been shot, died instantly and before she had a chance to react they had drove into one of the lamp posts, taking a pedestrian with them on their killing streak. Now an explosive inferno could occur at the center of town. Panicking citizens fleeing, whether it's sellers or people merely passing by. The van had stopped, witnessing the spectacular accomplishment, only awaiting the confirmation he's out. Edited by DragonFlame, Jun 17 2012, 09:43 AM.

The road wasn't too busy so he sat in the car engine ticking over enjoying the sound of the V8 rumbling away, one of mans better sounds that have been produced he thought trying to take his mind off...her. The guy still wasn't to be seen, Finns eyes casting about subconsioucly he knew looking for Sasha when he noticed in the mirror a van just sat there like he was. Nothing wrong with that he thought it is a market place after all, but his suspicions were confirmed when he saw it speed off. Bored with waiting and knowing the pawn shop owner takes all day with fine jewelery the wolf followed discreetly, turning a corner folliwing when he caught people getting into a black car hurridly. In a classic double take Finn recognised the hair immediatly, the two vehicles suddenly in a persuit of cat and mouse. Keeping up behind them screeching through the carnage they left behind, the sounds of gunshot made the shit get real. He had to find out if it was Sasha that wa sbeing chased, and ultimatly, why? Concentrating hard on not getting himself into trouble, a boot full of illegal weapons wasn't going to be the best thing to explain to the police, Finn backed off on what was the last corner of the chase. Heading around it to see the van stopped, people screaming and running everywhere sirens drawing nearer, the black Subaru was perched up a lampost. Well behind the van, the wolf rammed the Jag into gear and floored it to the smashed up vehicle. Unsure of what the chasers would do to him when he got there, mind a blur abandoning his own transport launching himself out ripping the passenger door open of the busted car, he stood frozen. It what seemed like a lifetime was only seconds but it was enough, a dead guy in the drivers seat and the husky in the passenger. Not stopping to ask questions, she could have had all her bones broken he hauled her into the back seat of the Jag and sped off, catching the glimps of red and blue lights drifting into the distance behind them. Ignoring stop signs, traffic lights you name it he drove and drove to the warehouse that was the original destination. Driving through the remotly activated door, Finn bought the car gently to a stop. Lifting the girl out cautiously into the make shift living accomodation resting her on a bed, Finn made things as comfortable as possible, even fetching a tumbler of neat whiskey to help sooth things. "Here drink this" Ushering her to take a sip, the wolf stared for a moment taking it all in. "Good to see you again" He said gently, checking for any broken bones which didn't appear to be any, just bruising and cuts. "What the hell happened back there? Someones mighty pissed at you or whoever was at the wheel. Just who was that anyway?" Talking slowly and smoothly rushing things wasn't a good idea waiting patiently for a response, aware of the safety of the warehouse and the items they had at their disposal. It would be good to lay low here anyway, people in town were all up tight about something. So much that the demand for his items were increasing all the time, someone saying about a fight for water or something silly. Nevertheless, this was more important, finding out why she was here and what was the reason for nearly killing her. |

The Dragon Whisperer
|
"Nyath...Nyath!" Zen awoke with a start and bolted upright, finding himself in a hospital bed. He blinked and suddenly felt the sting of pain in his left side. He gasped and clutched the furred hip, gritting his teeth in pain. "You're awake! Lay back, try to keep still." A panther, with black fur and a worried expression, pressed him down into the bed and the wolf gave a whine in pain. "You're still very injured from your attack." "Attack...?" The wolf groaned and placed a hand to his head. It throbbed with pain, and he eventually remembered that a crocodile came for him. And Nyath... "Where's my friend?" Zen suddenly demanded, sitting up, and he was pushed down again. His body was too stung and weary to kick up much of a fight. "No one came in with you, sir." The panther explained with a worried, sorrowful expression. "I'm sorry. I'm sure your friend will call." "But..." The wolf blinked and looked down over the bed either side, even wanting to reach his hand underneath, trying to. "Please sir, stay still, or I will have to sedate you." The panther insisted with a soft sigh. Zen groaned and shot the nurse an annoyed glare, before laying back, silent. "I'm sorry. You're still very injured, as I've said. It will take you a few days a recover fully." He explained and patted the wolf on the shoulder with an apologetic look. "Fine, fine." Zen huffed and folded his arms. The panther nodded, and left the room. When he went, Zen sprung into action. He pulled the pads and swabs from his arms and chest, leaping off the bed. For a moment, he gasped and buckled, falling to his knees, before gritting his teeth and pulling himself back up again. He didn't have any clothes, and simply grabbed the dressing down from the hook, putting it on and pulling up the robe's hood. He slipped out the room and glanced left to right. Nurses were all around, but far too busy to pay attention to him. It was a good cover. He walked along, limping from a little bit of a leg injury, his feet scuffling against the floor. He managed to get to the entrance when he was caught. "Mr. Aliaphinto?" Someone suddenly said and Zen swore. He bolted, running for the door, hobbling his way there. He gritted his teeth in annoyance as his injuries and endured them, running out of the building and down into the streets. People all around him looked a bit confused as he pushed past them, and Zen ignored their glances. He knew where he needed to be, and that was finding Nyath. But first, he'd need some clothes. ------------------------------------------ The Dragon was unresponsive for quite a while, in a very deep sleep. The vet who took care of him closed off his office for the day. He himself ran the place so he was quite happy to do so, especially for a magnificent and injured creature such as Nyath. When the Dragon came to, he found bowls of dried food and water just near him. He blinked down at them, and then leapt off the bed. His leg buckled when he landed and he let out a soft whimper, readjusting himself and limping over to the bowls. He lapped at the water, finding it satisfactory, and then chowed down on the food. Mostly meat, which he was glad for. In a matter of moments, as if detecting he was awake, the vet showed. "Ah, you're awake, little one." he crouched down and reached a hand out. Nyath was easily trusting, but was still wary, and sniffed the hand before giving it a brief brush with his snout in greeting. The vet smiled, amused. "Now, little one...you're almost healthy. Do you have an owner?" He asked, and the Dragon went rigid, his mind casting back. He looked left and right, and needed to find his friend. He headed to the door, scratching at it, looking back to the man. "You...wish to go? But, what if you get hurt again?" He asked, and the Dragon ignored his questions, trying to gnaw on the wood, to get past. With some resignation, knowing there wasn't much more he could do, the vet opened the door. Before Nyath could slip through, he crouched again, putting a hand under Nyath's chin. "Promise me you'll be safe." He insisted, giving a warm smile. The Dragon blinked, and was even still for a moment, rather surprised, in fact. He blinked again, before moving his head, licking the vet's hand once, before bounding out the door. |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
After leaving Farwille. Rocky was driving on the countryside road, with Akashi and Melissa in the passenger seats. There was not much traffic, which the harrier thought was pretty odd. Since Farwille had problems with the water. He assumed the citizens of the town, would be driving to others areas, where probably this problem was not occurring. The dog glanced in the rear view mirror, and saw two vehicles driving up fast. They sped past the land rover, which made the canine panic a little. He lost concentration on his driving, and turned on some grass to avoid the two speeding cars. And unknowingly missed the turn off, to the first area to come across. Once Rocky calmed down, and he got back on to the road. The traffic started to get a little busy. He noticed the turn off he missed, when he swerved avoiding the two speeders. Although he still could not turn around because off the traffic on the road. So he drove on to the next area. Melissa looked out of the window and a saw cars drive by. She assumed they were looking for a new area with clean water, the same as her, Akashi and Rocky. The tiger looked ahead and saw a city in the distance. “I think we should go there.” She said as she pointed at the tops of the buildings in view. The land rover drove past a sign, stating the name of the area ahead. “Carmine.” While driving. Rocky noticed on the fuel gage, that the car was almost out of fuel. “I hope there is a petrol station here. The car is almost out.” The harrier slowed down as he was approaching Carmine, so he would not run out of fuel outside the city. Eventually Rocky, Akashi and Melissa made to the city. The Harrier tuned into a car park and stopped. He got out as well as the two felines. And looked around. He overheard something just happened in the city, by a couple of the residents, and it sounded pretty worrying. |

Lucky stroke meeting the grey wolf after all. She wouldn't admit it, as she took a sip out of her glass, but a weak smile returned, upon him questioning her. //"What the hell happened back there?"\\ Chuckling at his caring yet kind personality, the soaring pain thubbing at the back of head, didn't ease her concentration ether. "Gawd! How should I know, my boss had many enemies for his lucrative findings, but it isn't until now, that even his evasive nature couldn't outsmart them." Nor wishing to stand inpolite, she yearned to have her eyes closed, if only for a short while. In matter of fact, she was out cold, for at least a few hours. Awaken to her stomach growling, urging for something to eat, looking around seing noone nearby, she'd expect Finn dealing with whatever buisness he had to take care off. Her head sore like a thumb, as she attempted to move over, from whatever had been used as an temporary bed, quite comfty, but it ain't exactly like home. Clumsily making it across, only having her stumble among some boxes, landing flat on her face, groaning disfavourable. "Agh! Help me out of here."Frustration, as she smacks a few boxes out of her way, throwing em aside, as she struggles to get back on her feet. Her knee's shaking, probably from loss of energy, or that she couldn't handle the alcohol given. Probably upon having someone actually coming to her aid, even given a snack, before she looked to Finn once more. "Why'd you come here too Carmine anyway?" Looking to draw her own background away, as it only pains thinking about it. ------- Still jailed up in prison, Kaman kept on thinking about this unusual animal. Must've uncloaked it self somehow. That'd make it a fortune, for exccentric's looking to excotic creatures in their care. Worse is, the meager chance he'll ever come close to that dragon again, is about zero. "Prisoner.." A voice came from outside, before bread and water was shoved beneath the door. "Water..." A word that was worth mentioning, upon looking at it. Dare say, the imagery from the cabin, probably the owner whilst thinking about it, she must've.. If this were true, the law, and community reinstate have more to fiddle about their business then bringing every criminal under their sophisticated care. "fudge IT." Kaman barges at the door, throwing everything at it, only to have the officer slam with his crowbar, before urging the croc, shutting up that mouth of his. Out of sligth desperation, looking for potential alternatives. Finding even the slightest weak link, could set him off a slow, but relative professional exit, leaving the Carmine's Milita, carving up in what's left in his cell. First of all, he needed to be served some proper dinner, as prison goes that is. Snatch a spoon or something. After a few hours spent, the crocodile was already in the pursuit making it out from the law enforcer's dungeon. Edited by DragonFlame, Jul 13 2012, 11:03 AM.

Pint of real ale please squire!
|
Taking a drink himself helped calm the nerves or at least cool off the adrenaline of racing here at speed. The office was cosy and warm, the makeshift bed reltivly comfortable, hell he'd spent a few nights on it himself. She stirred at his question, with her sense of humour still working no problem he smiled, yeah that was her alright... "Gawd! How should I know, my boss had many enemies for his lucrative findings, but it isn't until now, that even his evasive nature couldn't outsmart them." "Ah, so wrong place wrong time then? Or just that you work for someone who trod on alot of peoples toes" Finn snorted with a smile, the irony of that statment with the stuff he was bringing in. Although he made sure not to tread on other peoples toes as, well, he'd end up the same way. But must have been serious to take whoever the gaffer was down like that in this way in broad daylight in town. Pondering this he saw her close her eys again so he went about checking out the stock. The boxes were all still in here and in tact, which although they should be was always worth checking. There were some ruthless people about, especially those he sold the weapons and other stuff to who wouldn't think twice of backstabbing someone to get a bigge slice of the pie. Wondering back towards the office an urge for some food sprang up, the effects of the alcohol wearing off and the excitment from earlier supressed the need for eating. Hearing some boxes fall and mumbled words, he guessed Sasha was up. Sprinting across to where the sounds came from he saw her getting back up on her feet. "C'mon, lets go get some food" heading back towards the car he knew a nice out of the way place, where, not the most law abiding chose to eat. Perfect for staying out of the way, at least for the people he knew anyway. The evening was coming in, leaving the warehouse on the short drive Finn finally answered the huskys question, not ignoring it, but prioritising it for now. "Why did i come to Carmine?" He stared at the road for a few seconds before continuing, collecting his thoughts. "Well, the opportunites for me here are far greater then back at the port. I only needed to be there to get the rest of the shipment in as it's the last one until further notice." Approaching a set of lights on red the wold brought the car to a halt, looking over into her eyes the opportunity to tell her straight. "Theres guns in the warehouse Sasha, everyones been going crazy about self protection latley. And water! Ive been importing water too, people have been pleading for it, so naturally i bought it in." Setting off again the streets lights whizzing by he added before arriving "It's crazy, protection over water? I dunno what the hell's going on but if there is money to be made from it, i'm in!." Stepping out to the resturant, he looked up to the sign nodding appreciativly. "C'mon, food's great here!" |

The Dragon Whisperer
|
The street with bustling with busy people, needing to go to jobs, to homes, walking back and forth along dirty pavements and lit up alleyways. Zen pushed past people, in his hopsital gown, covered by his dressing gown atop it. He cursed his luck. He had no money, no clothes...what was he to do? He spotted something nearby. A charity shop. they were apparently giving away free shirts and jeans. Just what he needed. He pushed past people and made his way into the shop. It made a tinkle as he entered and various middle aged women blinked at him as he entered. He hobbled to the counter. "I need clothes." He insisted simply. "Please, if you have any." He held out a hand. "Um, right this way, sir?" The woman said, gesturing him round the back. She measured up his waist and leg size, even to his protest, glancing towards the woman. "Hurry it up, please." He snapped, then sighed. "Sorry. I'm looking for someone." "Oh, that special someone?" The woman smiled friendly and Zen shook his head. "No...a friend." he said. The woman nodded, and handed him a pair of jeans and a Shirt. She said he could use the changing room, and he appreciated it, heading into the booth. He came out minutes later with a tight pair of jeans on, and a checkered shirt that only just fit over his muscled chest. "Thank you. these will do fine." he didn't bother with shoes, as they weren't needed. He smiled friendly as the woman and headed out the shop. Nyath, on the other hand, was making his way down the street as well, slipping in out and out peope, unseen and unheard. He suddenly saw Zen, just making his way out of the shop and nudged him gently. There was always a signal the two used to know they were there. Zen was make a particular hand signal, and Nyath and bite Zen's ankle, gently. He did just that and Zen flinched, suddenly realising. He smiled when he looked down, knowing he was there. He moved to an alleyway and crouched, looking ahead to make no inclination anyone was there. "We need money." Zen said simply. "Do you think you could get some?" He glanced down briefly. Nyath, invisible, nodded and dashed off after nudging Zen's leg. The wolf nodded and stayed. Nyath was a sneaky, and stealthy one. It took him no time at all to pull wallets from pockets in the streets without anyone knowing, and worked up a stash of about 5 before making his way back to his companion. "Good boy." Zen said, not able to stroke Nyath's head, as he didn't know where he was. He counted up their spoils to find about, roughly, 200 of whatever currency they had. He grinned and stood, knowing it woudl certainly be enough for a hotel room, at least. He left the wallets and walked with the Dragon to the nearest Bed and Breakfast. Easily requesting a room, he flopped down tiredly in his new hotel room as Nyath uncloaked happily, sitting by his friend. "We gotta get whoever did this, Nyath ol' buddy. I know leads here. We'll find them, some way or another." "For now, rest." he said to his Dragon, stroking his soft, green scales. Nyath did as he was told, lowering his head onto Zen's leg, closing his eyes. ------------------ "Alright, we got a lead. I think." Zen said the very next day. "A restaurant. I have a contact there...might find out who that crocodile was who took you, Nyath." He said, nodding. Nyath looked eager to be out and about, and Zen chuckled, petting his head as they went. They stopped outside a well known enough restaurant in the late evening. Zen was assured they have reasonably good food, and walked past a fellow wolf and his husky friend. "How do you do?" He said briefly, waving to them as he headed inside, Nyath invisibly slinking in with him. Zen glanced left and right, before spotting a man on the far side, his contact. A shifty looking feline, with white fur. The wolf made his way towards him. "Calor." He said simply, slamming a hand down on the table and laughing as he saw the cat almost jump out of his seat. "Good to see you." He added, smirking and sitting down. "I trust you're well?" "J-Jeez Zen, d'ya have to scare me like that? God..." Calor wiped his forehead. "I hate this city...full of mystery, of murder." "Pull yourself together, Calor." Zen rolled his eyes. "Come on. This crocodile. Tell me." The cat looked anxious, glancing left and right. "W-Well, um..." He grinned at Zen, who narrowed his eyes. "What have you done, Calor?" He asked, then immediately stood as he saw two men enter the restaurant from the back. "I-I'm sorry dude! They paid me good money to see you gone..." Calor began. "You idiot!" Zen grabbed Calor's arm, lifting him up. "Don't you know they'll just kill you too?" He began dragging to cat to the door. "Oh come on, no they w-" Then bullets began firing. |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
After hearing some of the residents of carmine talk about, an event what just happened. It seems leaving Farwille, was not the best idea. Rocky and the two felines could not make out, what citizens were talking about. But with a slight panic the canine heard from their tone, sounded like was something worrying. He looked at the land rover and sighed. Since it was out of petrol, they cannot drive out of the city. Akashi started to walk over to the crowed of panicked citizens, still discussing the event what happened. Once he got closer to the residents. He heard that one of them, mentioning about hearing a gunshot, in the market area. The tiger's eyes widened as he heard, someone had fired a weapon. One of the resident’s walked over to the feline, from crowed. “Do you see who fired that gun. Most of just ran, we did not see who it was. We just got the hell out of there, once just after we heard it.” The tiger looked at the resident, and shook is head. “No I just arrived to Carmine with two friends. Our car is nearly out of petrol, and we need to fill it back up.” The citizen pointed down the road. “There is a petrol station outside the market area. If you are going down there, be careful though. That is where the shots were heard.” Akashi nodded once to the resident. “Thanks for the help.” The tiger walked back over to Rocky and Melissa. “I just had a talk with one the citizens. And it there was a gunshot. That is why they are up here.” Melissa was a little startled by what Akashi just said. She glanced over at the crowed, before looking at her boyfriend. “Was anybody hurt.” The tiger started shivering. Akashi walked over to the vehicle, and leaned his back against it. “Hopefully no one hurt, it happened in the market area.” The tiger looked to the harrier. “Also I know where you can fill the, land rover up.” Rocky had a faint smile one his face, once heard he can fill the car up with fuel. “You found a patrol station?” Akashi nodded. “Err yeah.” He said a little nervously. “One of citizen’s said there was one near the market area. Problem is, that is the area where the gunshot was heard.” The faint grin was removed from the harrier’s face, as he heard about when the gunshot occurred. He was a little reluctant at first, about driving over to the market to get more fuel. Although it was probably the only one nearest, since the land rover’s tank was almost empty. Rocky sighed and scratched his head. “Okay fine if the petrol station, near the market is closest, then we will go there.” The dog got back into the vehicle and started the engine. Akashi got in the land rover, and sat in the front passengers seat. Melissa stepped forward, about to enter the car but stopped. She then gazed around at the buildings, thinking about the shots, coming from the market. The tiger got in the car ready to go, but she was a little worried about going to the market. With the two felines in the vehicle. Rocky began to drive off, going slow down the streets to conserve fuel. The harrier kept an eye out for any street signs. “I wish Akashi got directions.” The canine had a bit of trouble looking for this petrol station, and also what if it was closed. If gunshots scared of residents in the street, it could of the fuels station’s owner. But he would not know until he found it. |

Her stomach growls, upon mentioning food. Voluntarily she accompanied the wolf back to his wheels, driving off toward the nearest restaurant, where he finally came to his sense mingling about his newly found business. //"It's crazy, protection over water? I dunno what the hell's going on but if there is money to be made from it, i'm in!."\\ That's been relatively exposed with seller's attempting to earn a fortune, selling what seems to be the last reservoirs of clean water. Watching the streets getting highlighted creating that nightly atmosphere she actually had come to like. Police cars, passing on by, probably investigating what led to the fire incident earlier. Sasha couldn't care less, apart from having her boss getting killed out in the open. The nerve killing someone when hundreds of witnessing able to write down the license number at the back of the wheels, been used. Of course that car's probably wasted at the bottom of some lake, if they hadn't already routed em out. It's hard to tell, being mostly asleep. Thankful she's still alive, they arrived at the restaurant, whereas she had stayed fairly quiet until looking upon it's name. "Top Notch Steak eh!" Well anything would feed her belly at the moment. Just out of nowhere, another white wolf suddenly waving his hand, rather mysteriously, entering that same dining place. Approaching slowly along with Finn, there's another two male looking characters wearing their black tuxedo's, and if she weren't blinkering, one of them were armed. Before they'd made it as far, a hand of her, abrupt any further movement, whispering, "I wouldn't want to.... Crazy." It was as she'd expected. Gunfire within, did he have to choose a place filled with gun-wielding maniacs. Having no tool of her own, she immediately asked, or rather urged the gray wolf to follow. Whatever situation ensued within, it left a few pedestrians fleeing, barely escaping a bullet at the back of their head. The manager flailed to the back, putting on the alarm, while calling the CM's enforcer's right away. Quickly that familiar blaring sound approached from the distance. "Another report at the same day, what the hell's happening to our town Jax?" One of the officers addressed his college, preparing to arrive at the scenery, hopefully in due time. "We seriously need to find another place to eat." Sasha urged, finding the police car abrupt to halt just outside, before bursting out from their vehicle, armed and not even looking to sit back, waiting for whoever is to blame for starting this riot. No matter, she pulled the wolf back with her to the wheels. Ignoring what headache still oozed her brain, until she managed to have him convinced, opening it back up. "We ain't getting involved in more shit, Finn. You hear me." Quite snappy, closing the door right after she took a seat. A sudden scream coming from another apartment nearby. Turning toward the event, rather shocked, almost shaken as she watched a male, plummeting down from what may have been his balcony. The facial expression, it was clear he had drunken water from the sink. Water will be getting scarce at this rate, no wonder why Finn had mentioned taking up selling, and buying water, seen as it's rate of worth will reach incredible values in no time. The folks interest, rather scared outside the wheels, and the situation probably trying to be taken care off inside the restaurant, it's like everything slowly falling apart. Crime will increase, and clearly it'll be tougher to live, knowing the desperation will continue to increase as to the water supplies quickly running low. ((Police officers ain't exactly in my control. Do whatever you wish Devin.)) |

"It's crazy, protection over water? I dunno what the hell's going on but if there is money to be made from it, i'm in!." Getting out the car surveying the scene in front of them, Finn shut the door before leaning on the roof waiting for people to start heading in, not wanting to be the first. Just something that freaked him out, being somewhere 1st before rest of the public show up. "Yeah! Whether or not there is a drouth or something more sinister i'm not bothered. But for sure Sasha, it would be nice having you back" Smiling an awkward smile for a second he banged the metal "C'mon! I'm starving!" Walking towards the entrance seemed casual enough, even friendly given the nature of the people that eat here, a wolf making a passing greeting. "How do you do?" "Fine thank you my friend!" In good spirits Finn began walking towards the entrance reaching out for the huskies hand when a hesitation from her made the wolf see the other men, glancing over not to draw attention to himself staring at them, Finn double backed casually. "I wouldn't want to.... Crazy." "Wha..Why?..." As if answering the question for him, the gunfire ang through the air "Jesus H!" Finns words of suprise matching that on both their faces, following the huskies lead "We seriously need to find another place to eat." "GLADLY!" Shouting about the noise and commosion hearing the police car screech to a halt near to their location in the ally. Being pulled back to the Jaguar it was clear she was wanting out before any questions started being asked. Something he was glad of, not wanting to talk to the police. "We ain't getting involved in more shit, Finn. You hear me." Firing up the V8 backing out of the car park Finns mind began whirring, her snappy remark putting him on the spot not knowing how to respond. Instead, the screaming and sight of somone falling to their death silenced that predicament. At least for now. 'Not getting involved in more?' Christ she was being chased and nearly gunned down not more then 24 hours ago, did she not want to at least get to the bottom of what's going on? Time was getting on, seeing a petrol station ahead pulled in. "Getting supplies, think it might be safer to cook at home" Shutting the door the wolf stood on the forecourt looking around. The lights were on, but the place seemed dead, no one around. Approaching the store, it was open but again no sight or sound of anyone. "Hello?" Speaking normally not wanting to startle anyone uncliped the safety of his pistol just encase someone was robbing the place and he stumbled in at the wrong time. No reply, not anything. Explaing to Sasha the goings on, the sound of a vehicle approached. Something bigger then a car but wasn't police or military. Standing watching as it approached, he'd ask what if anything they might know was going on. |
